Pray for America: From Revolt to Revival

【 Current Event/Background: In August of 2019, our friend Steven Springer released a prophetic word, which we posted on Give Him 15. The word proved to be very accurate. I believe it pertained to the season we were moving into, not just that year. He saw the young generation rioting due to racial conflicts, both here in America and in other nations, which certainly occurred. Here is Steven’s word:

“In a vision, I saw an increase of rioting across the earth. A generation is trying to find its voice and identity.

“Our young people are in internal turmoil, confused and being tossed to and fro by many winds. They really don’t know what to think because it seems everyone – from educators to the media to celebrities – is telling them what to think and how to feel.

“Our ancient foe, the devil, the dragon, is behind all of this. Things are about to come to a violent tipping point. The young want to see societal injustices righted but don’t always know how to generate this. Therefore, they are going to attempt to bring change in their own strength and might.

“Racial conflicts are not over yet, but I see HOPE on the horizon! Hope in the midst of the struggle. Some kind of war is going to bring unity to our nation again. The revelation of 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 will be understood by the majority of believers in Christ, not just leaders and intercessors!” (End of Steven’s word.)

The unrest and rioting are indeed amping up again, and we are probably seeing the beginning of the war Steven spoke of. He said at the time that he believed the war could even be on our soil. We may very well find ourselves fighting a “war” of sorts with terrorists in America. Many are certainly here. If we are drag into the war in the Middle East, which Iran seems at times to be goading us into, they will give the go-ahead to their terrorist allies here. If this occurs, remember that we are anchored.

I sense that today, however, Holy Spirit wants us to focus specifically on the young generation. They truly are currently engaging in world events, some teetering on violence. Satan will stoke this, as Steven said. He did the same thing in the 1960s and 70s. Riots occurred all over the country, especially on college campuses, due to the Vietnam War, but also a disillusionment over the government in general, racism, and what they perceived as hypocrisy in their parents’ generation. In their youthful zeal, often with a lack of wisdom, they fought for what they perceived as justice. Many of them also threw out many babies with the bath water, rejecting past standards of morality, Christian and biblical roots, other societal norms, capitalism, and more. Rebellion ruled, lives were lost, campuses and government buildings were destroyed, drugs were prevalent, and the sexual revolution was born, resulting in millions of abortions, the destruction of the family unit, and a plague of sexual diseases.

God had an answer for this disillusionment and unrest in the Jesus People Movement. Millions were saved. The entire nation was impacted. Had the church understood the following two things at a higher level, we could likely have sustained and increased the momentum of this revival/awakening, rather than eventually losing it altogether:

• Christ’s command for the Ekklesia to disciple nations in Matthew 28:18-20 including the importance of influencing all the pillars/mountains of culture with His Kingdom principles. At that time, the church focused only on Christ’s great commission of Mark 16:15-18, seeing people saved and delivered.
• The danger of being so convinced Christ was returning within the next few years that there was no need to plan for the future. Many, myself included, were taught that we didn’t need to attend college or even concern ourselves with societal institutions such as the government or the education system because Jesus was coming any day, and none of this would matter. We majored on the “Blessed hope” (Titus 2:13) but overlooked the “Occupy until I come” (Luke 19:13). Jesus didn’t come when we expected, and tragically, we had given control of the nation to the kingdom of spiritual darkness. The cost has been immeasurable.

We’re about to get a second chance. Disillusionment and a search for identity among the young generation have come again, as has the unrest. We must now pray diligently for them, calling for God’s answer. He is going to send another great revival to rescue another angry, broken, and disillusioned generation. We are the conduit He will use, and it starts with our prayers. Let’s do so now.

Critical Event: Hanukkah Prayers for Arabs

We are reposting these prayer points here so that we global intercessors can unite with Asher and other Messianic believers in calling on God to turn the Arab world around.

1. Prayer for Arab Christians: [Prayer] Heavenly Father, raise up Arab brothers and sisters! No one can stand up against the evil in this world and preach the truth like them. Now is their time, their glory, and their destiny, and we pray that You will enable them to stand up and fulfill their mission.
2. Destroy the Power of Hamas : There has never been a greater evil in human history than Hamas, because this is not a war against Gazans or even Hamas; this is an apocalyptic global jihad ist war, in which Hamas and Islamic Jihad are only the vanguard. In fact, more Arabs are targeted by jihadists than Jews. Jihadism is really not just about Jews. [Prayer] Heavenly Father, please move Jews and Arabs to pray together, calling on You to cause Hamas to be completely destroyed and all Arabs in the world to be freed from it.
3. Pray for the Innocent People of Gaza : Although in this particular case, it’s a little tricky because Hamas is actually an elected government, so most people voted for it. Therefore, it is difficult to determine who is Hamas, who is a supporter of Hamas, who is an active supporter of Hamas, who is a passive supporter of Hamas, and then who is the innocent victim. It’s hard to tell now, but no matter what, we have to pray that the innocent people of Gaza will not be harmed in this war. [Prayer] Heavenly Father, please supernaturally protect the innocent people in Gaza and protect any innocent people who are not involved in the war.
4. Pray about the Motives for the War : There are concerns that the motives for this war are not pure, but political and racist interests. The extremist elements in the Israeli government, the far right elements and the extremist religious elements, those parties have all been purged from the governing council that is leading this war, so these extremists don’t even exist anymore, but we still want to be there for all the people involved in this war. Right Motives and Tactical Prayer. [Prayer] Heavenly Father, we pray for all political groups so that this war does not involve any political motives, racism, or revenge, but only involves noble moral motives and values, as well as necessary tactics and strategies.
5. Right Solution : We hope that after the war is over, there will be a right solution to establish a demilitarized zone so that the Arabs can have peace and prosperity and rebuild their home in Gaza without it becoming any jihad ism and threats to attack Israel or other innocent people. [Prayer] Heavenly Father, we pray that a demilitarized solution to peace and prosperity will finally be realized in Gaza.
6. True Peace Solution : We believe in a true peace solution, the testimony of love between Jews and Arabs that comes through faith in Jesus, and only Arab Christians who truly believe in Jesus and who truly believe Only messianic Jews can do it. Together we are witnessing the light that is coming into this world and the most important thing is to share the gospel of Jesus who has the real way to create peace in the hearts of people because external solutions to peace will never work, people’s heart has to be changed, and this is only possible through our dear Messiah, Jesus. [Prayer] Heavenly Father, only Jesus Christ is the real solution to peace. Send workers to spread the gospel throughout Gaza.
7. Pray for the Arab People Around the World : [Prayer] Heavenly Father, we pray for the salvation and restoration of all Arabs, just as we pray for ourselves and the Israelites, and just as Abraham prayed for Ishmael to live in Your presence. , so that all Arabs will receive life, blessings and salvation.
8. “Abraham Accords” : [Prayer] Heavenly Father, in this whole situation, may the cooperative relationship between Israel and the moderate Arab countries be reborn, with further cooperation, cultural exchanges, tourism and economic activities, and more Arab countries with Israel has entered into the Abraham Accords to help each other and bless each other.

Pray for Native Americans: Solemn Meeting at the City Gate – the Ethnic Groups are in Their Respective Positions to Welcome the Revival

【Current Affairs:  A few weeks ago, we prayed for the solemn meeting of Taiwan’s aboriginal people (for details, please click here ). This article is excerpted from the report of the meeting published in the “ United Prayer Alliance for Kingdom Revival ”. We believe that the unity of Taiwan’s indigenous people and various ethnic groups will surely lead to Taiwan’s rejuvenation.

Pastor Dennis Kasirye, the apostle of Ganda prayer, called Taiwan’s aboriginal churches to hold a solemn gathering to pray. Under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Wu Cifu, Pastor Chen Xiumei, and Pastor Ryan Lam held a “Serious Meeting for Aboriginal People to Go to the City Gate” on November 16 in order to awaken and arouse the Aboriginal people to go to the city gate and repel the enemies. Pastor Dennis encouraged Taiwanese pastors and intercessors to align themselves with God, revitalize their lives, and transform the entire spiritual atmosphere in Taiwan.

About 150 pastors and intercessors attended the meeting. Presbyterian Church Atayal Anli. Pastor Gei Nu (Ryan Lin) first announced and sounded the horn of awakening, inviting the presence of God and letting the flag of Jesus rise. The significance of the aboriginal people’s solemn meeting at the city gate

Cyrus king of Persia thus said: The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the world, and has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem of Judah. Let whoever is among his people go up, and the LORD his God be with him. ( 2 Chronicles 36:23)

Pastor Wu Cifu of the Bunun mission explained that after attending the National Day fasting and prayer meeting for the country, Pastor Dennis felt that God’s will had not been fully fulfilled, so he hoped to gather the indigenous groups to pray. Now is the time for the rise of Aboriginal people. “This day is very critical. Aboriginal people from all regions have to pass through the dark land and enter the light. October 10 is National Day and the door of the country, but the fasting and prayer meeting for the country Finally, it seems that the door has not come out yet. But God promises that today, through us aboriginal people, He will say: ” If I open this door , no one can shut it; if I close it , no one can open it.” “

Pastor Wu also said that the aboriginal people are deeply connected to the land , and they must sing the songs of Taiwan’s aboriginal people and the songs of the land. God opens the door through the aboriginal people. Only the aboriginal people make a covenant with the land, but the aboriginal people sell the land indiscriminately, so the aboriginal must rely on God to restore their property. In the last century, aboriginal people revived and many aboriginal churches were established. However, in the 21st century, aboriginal people were lost and returned to ancestral spirits and idol worship. This gathering allows the indigenous people to stand up again in the midst of failure and weakness, and to stand together in the company of the Han people to re-receive the vision entrusted by God.

Pastor Chen Xiumei of the Amis ethnic group said, “ The purpose of the Solemn Assembly is to make people repent and turn to God, listen to God’s voice, and then obey God and start over. ” In the New Testament, there does not seem to be a Serious Society, but it is integrated into the lives of Christians. . For example, Antioch fasted and prayed to seek God. After hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit, they sent the apostles Paul and Barnabas on missionary missions. Therefore, the focus of the Solemn Assembly is on seeking God .

Faced with a national crisis, King Jehoshaphat was the first to repent. This heart of seeking God moved others, including priests, troops, and people. So God spoke through the prophets to let the king know the strategy for the battle. Pastor Xiumei said that if you ask God to enlighten you and talk to today’s attendees, you will know how to pray.

The Evil Root in Taiwan

Pastor Xiumei went on to share the root of Taiwan’s evil: First, due to the aboriginal witchcraft and ancestral worship, a gray spiritual atmosphere enveloped the entire Taiwan. Later, the Han people invaded Taiwan during the Qing Dynasty, built temples everywhere, and Aboriginal people fought with each other. During the Japanese colonial period, the Japanese established shrines. There is a large shrine in Japan facing Taiwan, and they declare every day: “Taiwan is mine.” There are also Japanese people who come to Taiwan specifically to worship their ancestors at the shrine. In recent years, Europe and the United States have brought homosexuality and the New Age movement. Because of these powers of darkness, the entire spiritual atmosphere is getting darker and darker.

A Taoist priest once visited Pastor Xia Zhongjian’s office. He saw maps of Taiwan and couldn’t help but ask why the whole of Taiwan was pitch black. But then he noticed that there were many small white dots on the maps. What do these little white dots mean? It is the church and the altar. He was very happy to see the church making Taiwan shine and encouraged Pastor Xia to build the church quickly. The question is: despite having a lot of light, does it have any effect on the darkness? Pastor Xiumei believes that the brightness of light first depends on Christians having a far-reaching and broad enough vision and the authority to pray. Only then will the spiritual atmosphere in Taiwan become brighter. Secondly, the bright spots should be connected and become a ball of fire.

Changing the Spiritual Atmosphere Leads to Transformation

Pastor Heather believes that we should pay attention to the spiritual atmosphere outside. Sometimes Christians cannot see the root of sin and the areas of spiritual weakness. For example, the aboriginal people are not accurate enough in the truth. They will say: “I love Jesus, but I can’t live without my own culture.” She once went to a tribe and saw someone hunting. It turned out that the hunter was a co-worker of the church. The co-worker said that hunting is an ancestral ritual and one should not forget his roots. How many Christians miss Sunday worship because of harvest festival practices and performances? Some people don’t go to church just for convenience and community life. In recent years, young people have questioned why their elders introduced Christianity and abandoned Aboriginal culture. Young people want to restore witchcraft and ancestor worship in Aboriginal culture.

Pastor Heather stated that the focus of her prayers is to find out the root cause of sin and pray for the next generation, who will inherit the spiritual inheritance. The land is cursed because of bloodshed and idolatry. Help the native people to know how to watch, and ethnic unity is the greatest protective force , because “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord God.” (Psalm 33:12) . The intercessors asked God to elect a president who is after God’s heart, and called on God to make the head of the country regard Jehovah as his God.

2024 is coming soon, which will be the 400th anniversary of the gospel coming to Taiwan. 400 years ago, Dutch missionaries brought the gospel to the indigenous people. Isaiah 9:2 says: “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light, and those who dwell in the land of the shadow of death have light shining on them.” Ask God to let the church see that this light has come and do His work for Him. Witness, and hope that the indigenous people will join hands to watch for the country at the gate of the city.

Pastor Ryan Anlin said that recently a flower bloomed in his garden. The flower’s name is Rhinoceros grandiflorum. It looks like a starfish and is as big as the palm of your hand. This flower emits a stinky smell to attract flies, so it is also known as the “stinky meat flower”. He was surprised that the color of the flower was the same as the color of the party poster, and he specially paid attention to the flower’s flower language: “Never give up waiting” , which means that Taiwan is suppressed. After waiting for too long, it looks worse and worse, attracting more and more people. fly. He believes that blooming means that God wants the Taiwanese church to wait, wait patiently, and persevere.

Pastor Ryan quoted the scriptures in which King Jehoshaphat established judges ( 2 Chronicles 19:6-7, 9 ) and said that facing the coalition forces of the four countries, Jehoshaphat lined up to fight. Jehovah sent an ambush to help King Jehoshaphat, and Judah’s army spent three days collecting the enemy’s property. Pastor Lai announced that the aboriginal people were arrayed in order and should not be afraid or panicked. Sometimes God wants us to rest and do nothing but watch Him work.

Pastor Dennis : Stand in a Good Position to Rebuild Your Life

Pastor Dennis said: “We are all here because of a special mission. This special gathering is based on the voice of heaven. God has accomplished many things.”

Proclaim it among the nations: Prepare for war; stir up the mighty and bring all the warriors forward. Beat your plowshares into swords, and your sickles into spears; the weak shall say: I am strong. Come quickly, all the nations around you, and gather together. Please bring down your mighty One, O Lord. Rise up, all nations, and go up to the valley of Jehoshaphat; for there I will sit and judge the nations around you. Let’s use the sickle! For the harvest is ripe; trample it! Because the wine press is full. The wine pools are overflowing; their sin is great. ( Joel 3:9-13)

After experiencing the epidemic, disasters in various places, and the war between Israel and Kazakhstan, Pastor Dennis believes that this is an opportunity for Taiwan and the world to have a great spiritual awakening, in order to awaken the spirit in people and respond to their commitment to God and the gospel, because life It’s about living for a spiritual purpose. God gathers His people to prepare for the battle in the last days. God wants to say to you: “As God’s children and leaders, prepare according to your tribe and bloodline.”

When God wants to do something, He must first prepare His people. What to prepare? Prepare for war; what battle is it? This is not a war of flesh and blood, nor is it a war of guns, planes , or cannons, but a fight for one’s own destiny and the destiny of each tribe. Why did God create you? Why did God create these tribes? What is the destiny of each tribe? Enemies also fight to defeat these destiny. No one can help you enter your destiny unless you rise up and face the enemy.

Dennis is a native of Uganda. European and American countries will deliver supplies, preach the gospel to Africans, and build schools, hospitals, infrastructure and other good works. They could not help the Africans to rise, because the Africans just stood by and watched while others took care of the problems on their behalf.

The Congo was once a Belgian colony and was used by the king for hunting purposes. At that time, in order to prevent the people there from becoming leaders in the future, the indigenous people were prohibited from going to school. Later, Belgium handed over the land, and Congo was plunged into war. Congo has not been able to enjoy a peaceful life until now. The reason is that no leader has risen to lead the entire country, and Westerners have also used other tribes to kill each other. Once a leader rises, other tribes will join forces. During the war, some leaders were even assassinated, leaving the country leaderless. In fact, the country is very rich, but the common people are impoverished. Pastor Dennis emphasized that material resources alone cannot overcome these situations, and that spiritual warfare must be used to deal with the underlying problems.

Witchcraft is prevalent in Africa, and Ugandans also worship their ancestors, build small palaces and temples at home, and hold various ceremonies. Later, although missionaries came to preach the gospel and people believed in the Lord and became Christians, they could not give up worshiping ancestors. They attend Sunday worship and continue to worship their ancestors after returning home. Thank God for raising up Christians to fight against the forces of darkness and create revival in Uganda.

Pastor Dennis remembers that when he was a child, his father had many wives. Since his mother was not the first wife, his father was absent when he was growing up. Sometimes, his father would gather all the family members, set up a big altar at home, and then invite the witch doctor to come over. The witch doctor would cut the family members, apply herbs, and then read out the spell. Pastor Dennis believed in the Lord and was saved when he was a student. He had to deal with the evil spirits in his father’s house. The Lord led him step by step to regain his freedom.

Pastor Dennis said that people will face some challenges that are invisible to the naked eye, and they may still be able to do many things, including educating the next generation, but no breakthroughs can be seen. When he went to Taitung to pray, he met a group of young aboriginal people. He followed them and found that these young people had drugs and alcohol in their homes and had no hope for the future. These problems cannot be dealt with without a spiritual declaration of war. Pastor Dennis declared: “Let the mighty warriors wake up. God is going to wake up the mighty warriors in the tribe. They are powerful, look up to God, and stand where they should. There will be people, leaders, and tribes. Declare your determination: ‘Let my people be free!’”

In Joel 3:10 , God said: “Beat your plowshares into swords…” , which means change. Christians must reorganize their lives, refocus, change strategies, and align themselves with God’s plan at this moment. . Pastor Dennis noticed that Taiwanese Christians worshiped and prayed passionately at prayer meetings, wept bitterly, confessed and repented, but after returning home, they did not change anything and returned to their original shape. The National Prayer Meeting is very powerful, but when we return to the local church, there is no prayer, only church programs and activities, and we see no breakthrough. No wonder God said, “Beat your plowshares into swords.” ’ Change, realign, align yourself with the spiritual purpose of this moment. After this meeting is over, if you go home and remain the same, without any reorganization, and without aligning the church’s program with God’s will at the moment, I am certain that nothing will change; even though this is a prayer meeting for the country, but there was no change, and no transformation. So, it’s not just prayer, it’s just worship,alsoIt’s not just about preaching, it’s about God coming among us, God manifesting and changing our hearts, and God reorganizing our lives. “

And no one calls on your name; no one strives to catch you. For you have hid your face from us, causing us to be consumed by our sins. ( Isaiah 64:7)

Pastor Dennis said, “First of all, the scripture says: ‘No one calls on your name.’ Don’t wait for others to push you. Take the initiative to know God and seek God yourself. Second, ‘No one strives to catch you.’ To be with and walk with God means that we not only have to pray, but also have God . We hope that God will visit the tribes in Taiwan and visit Taiwan. We hope that God will appear and that God will be beside us. Then God will press His Act according to your heart. We are here to receive the call of awakening, a great awakening in the spirit. May powerful warriors arise, raise up every tribe, occupy a place, receive healing in the heart, and achieve true restoration and revival. I saw in the tribe that people and children could be changed and renewed because of God’s power.”

Pastors and Representatives of Various Ethnic Groups Pray

Pastor Wu Cifu of the Bunun tribe prayed: “Almighty Father God, we are willing to give You all the glory. Although we have beautiful worship here, Jesus said at the city gate: “Child, you have to go down the mountain.” Because there are still people outside. The sheep shall come among you, and feed them together.”

Mrs. Wu invited everyone to kneel down and pray for the estrangement between ethnic groups: “Please ask God to intervene and remove our sins so that we can be completely cleansed, healed, and released. Please ask God to intervene deeper and cut off all evil.” “

Pastor Daqing, Gao Wang of the Seediq tribe: “We hold high the banner of Your victory, Jehovah. Jehovah Nissi, You are our banner of victory. We stand here in compliance with Your command. We want to watch Your deeds. We know that You are God. You have inspired us to stand here like the army of Jehoshaphat. We will see how You fulfill Your promise. You will send out angels and ambushes to destroy the works of the devil. We can exercise great power by relying on God because we believe , You have already won, You have won… You will fight for us. Taiwan belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ, and no one can take it away. We choose the Lord of hosts to be the king of Taiwan, and choose you to elect a God-fearing king for Taiwan. . ”

Pastor Qiu Chuanlong of Enyu Lingliang Church declared the covenant of victory: “You have won for us more than two thousand years ago. You have overcome all darkness for us, and you have taken back the key of Hades for us and put it in our hands. You have given us the key. In the name of the Lord Jesus, we come to exercise the authority in our hands, which is the precious blood of Jesus Christ. We stand on this land to declare your victory, to declare Your salvation, to declare Your healing, to declare Your name.”

Bunun intercessor: “We declare that You come to enlighten us, and we ask You to deal with all the evil deeds in us. We need Your holiness and Your righteousness. We no longer waste time. You come to help us deeper, We confess our sins before You more deeply and repent for our shortcomings.”

Pastor An Lin declared: “Lord, raise up the fire of prayer. Lord, restore the fire in our hearts and rekindle the fire of love. Because our prayers see that You have sent down the rain of Your grace, the autumn rain has come, so we send down the fire of Your revival , come and water it on this land. Lord, don’t let us lose this fire, let us continue to be burned by You, use the authority You have given us to pray, continue to watch for our land, and fight for our country .”

Pastor Dennis prayed: “Lord, may Your name be exalted and may Your will be done. Lord, may You raise up warriors in this land. May they all stand up and declare, “Let my people go, my tribe must Be free, my country shall be free, Asia shall be saved.” Father, release Your original people, release a fresh anointing in every leader, release a new burden in every people, so that They are willing to pray for the tribes and pay the price for this land. Lord, they will pray to the Father that the people will be released.”

Pastor Xiumei then invited the pastors present to circle around and pray for repentance and confession. She asked the Lord to break the partition wall in the middle, raise up pastors, and transform the church. Mrs. Wu prayed: “Lord, we ask You to forgive us, please forgive us. We are all for the brothers and sisters, but we cannot see You. We only see religion and the small kingdom. We confess our sins and ask You to forgive us. I leave the sovereignty to you.”

Pastor Hong Meiai of Kadu Presbyterian Church prayed: “Lord, give us a humble heart, a humble heart, and let us focus on You. You will raise up us who are insignificant. We are Your servants. Let us have the heart of Jesus. Lord, break down all the religious walls among us, and let the church be no longer a form, no longer an activity, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. We indigenous churches need Your fountain, Your fountain pours into the church without any hindrance. Lord, new life will come out. I declare by the Lord Jesus that the indigenous peoples are in their respective places. We will receive a new destiny and a new wave of revival.”

Pastor Si Shenghui prayed: “Lord, please forgive the new generation of preachers. We always regard ourselves as insignificant and are unwilling to take a new step. We are unwilling to step into the deep water. We always fall behind in knowledge, administration, and In activities, we have not truly experienced God Himself. Please restore the hearts we originally dedicated to You. Please inspire the young generation of aborigines to love You. Don’t be deceived or taken away by the environment. Just come to Say before the Lord: “I do!” Please help us jump out of our comfort zone and jump into the flow of the Holy Spirit.”
