Note the three feasts/special days this month: Blowing of Trumpets (or shofars)—a daylong event on Tishrei 1 (Sept. 26) heralding the new year; the Day of Atonement on Tishrei 10 (Oct. 5); and the Feast of Tabernacles from Tishrei 15–21 (Oct. 10–16).

Declaration Prayer: For President Trump and His Team [Update]

We declare in the name of Jesus :

  • God will continue to bless and protect President Trump and his family, as well as the “scepter of justice” that God has raised up to support him in his government.
  • The blood of Jesus covers them and those close to President Trump, bind and drive away any witchcraft or spells cast on them.
  • The Holy Spirit continues to pour out and personally guide President Trump. He grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God. ( Lu 2:52 )
  • The seven spirits of God are manifested in President Trump’s life ( Isaiah 11:1-3 ), giving him keen insight and discernment, judging the situation, and resolutely continuing to fulfill his call.
  •  God will restore Trump to his rightful position at His best time and give people grace to transition.

Declaration Prayer: Prayer of Declaration for the Month Of Tishrei

We declare In the name of Jesus

  • As we walk and fellowship with God daily, we will experience His overflowing blessings and abundance in us.
  • It is the beginning of this new year and the beginning of the great harvest time, and we are to be aligned with God’s timing.
  • Behold, darkness covers the earth, and darkness covers the nations, but the LORD will appear to shine upon us, and His glory will be upon us. (Isa. 60:2)
  • We are the light of the world, who follow Jesus, and do not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. (Jn 8:12)
  • The LORD God is the source of all things to us, and in the shaking He is aligning us with His will.
  • Those that have been scattered will return and we will see restoration in individuals, families, jobs/services, or visions.
  • The LORD God is in control of the whole earth and is releasing His judgments at the right time.
  • We need to draw closer to God and be touched by Him more deeply.
  • This is a time of spiritual awakening, when all the obstacles that keep us from turning back or entering into the fullness of God will be removed.

We will receive a double blessing from God.

Declaration Prayer: Decrees for America

Decree for America: We, Your Ekkelisia. The Church is God’s governing Body on the earth. We have been given legal power and authority from heaven, we are God’s ambassadors and spokespeople over the earth,  through the power of God, we are His world influencers, because of our covenant with God, we are equipped and delegated by Him to destroy every attempted advance of the enemy.

Therefore, in the name of Jesus Christ 

WE MAKE OUR DECLARATIONS:

  1. We decree that America’s executive branch of government will honor God and defend the Constitution.
  2. We decree that our legislative branch (Congress) will write only laws that are righteous and constitutional.
  3. We decree that our judicial system will issue rulings that are biblical and constitutional.
  4. We declare that we stand against wokeness, the occult, and every evil attempt against our nation.
  5. We declare that we now take back our God-given freedoms, according to our Constitution.
  6. We declare that we take back influence at the local level in our communities.
  7. We decree that we take back and permanently control positions of influence and leadership in each of the **Seven Mountains.
  8. We decree that the blood of Jesus covers and protects our nation. It protects and separates us for God.
  9. We declare that our nation is energy independent.
  10. We declare that America is strong spiritually, financially, militarily and technologically.
  11. We decree that evil carries no power, authority or rights in our land nor over our people.
  12. We decree that we will operate in unity, going beyond denominational lines in order to accomplish the purposes of God for our nation.
  13. And we decree that AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED!

Pray for America: The Respect for Marriage Act – an attack on biblical marriage

After the bill passed the U.S. House of Representatives, it has moved to the Senate. At that time, the Democrats still needed at least 5 Republican votes until September 5. Unfortunately, the Democrats had already obtained the support of the Republican senators they needed. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, the Democrat who led the case on Sept. 5, has announced that the case will be postponed until after the midterm elections.     • Yahweh God is the God of no control! You reign in America forever and ever!
    • Ekklisia of the earth will arise and shine, and rule the earth with God; seal the breaches, and rebuild the walls.
    • America must be saved!

The power of resurrection enters every damaged organization, making the political hills each in its own right, helping each other ( Ephesians 4:16 ). that Aria, who had returned from the nations, would no longer be called lame, but a mighty people, and you shall reign over them on Mount Zion ( Micah 4:7 ).

    • Bless Israel’s leaders with fresh eyes to see the strengths and strengths of returning brethren from different backgrounds.
    • Bless the leaders of Israel to receive fresh anointing every day, and the anointing of the heavenly Father drips into every government post in Israel, crushing all the dark forces of disputes.
    • Bless the leaders of Israel with the hearts of fathers and mothers to be outstanding leaders with credibility and execution.

May You work in the hearts of the leaders of the political parties in Israel, removing the dross from their lives, removing the selfish political ambition, power control, disobedience and strife from their hearts. I ask You to plant righteousness and integrity in them, heal and wrap past life events, and deliver them from the pit and prison of the enemy. May Your mercy surround them, draw lines of protection for their hearts, and guard their hearts and minds.
  • Raise up a government after God’s own heart: Father, we thank You that You are the “King” of Israel, who has been watching over Israel. Please prepare the hearts of the elect of Israel to discern the true intentions of politicians, to elect leaders who are in accordance with Your own will, and to form a stable coalition government that is in accordance with God’s will. May You raise up and anoint these truly righteous, mercy-loving leaders who walk with You in humility to lead Israel out of the political impasse. May Your will for Israel be done this election season!

The authority of the church to rule: Father, we thank Christ for His obedience unto death, that the church (The Ekklesia) may sit with Christ in heaven (Eph 2:6) and receive the authority of the kingdom of heaven! This authority is not an empty sword; it is God’s user, for good, to redress grievances and punish those who do evil (Rom 13:4). If this authority is abused, You will take it back, for it will do what You have prepared for it to do. Father, help us to know how to use this authority to rule and govern our cities and villages, and to bring back everything that is not according to Your will. Let us all enter by faith into the realm of the heavenly council

Declare in the Name of Jesus 

  • I am the Kingdom Council, and I have the authority to govern given by Jesus;
  • I have the right understanding of authority;
  • I know the heart of God the Father and will not abuse this authority;
  • All those who have authority in the first and second heaven have submitted to the council of heaven;
  • I am guided by the Holy Spirit and have the wisdom of heaven to rule over my city – the administration, the police, the school board, the council… and the land under my feet;
  • I am the government appointed by God on earth.

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock  and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth,  a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.

Prayer

First Nations people, We decree that

  •  the shackles have now been broken off of you. Arise and dance! 
  • First Nations people break forth with dancing and worship to the Lord (see Psalm 149:3-4 TPT)!
  • I decree, you have been lifted out of the pit of destruction, your feet have been set upon the rock of Jesus and He has established your goings (see Psalm 40:1-3 AMP). Arise and resound – no longer bound!
  • I decree, the Lord has put a new song of praise to the one true living God in your mouth. 
  • You have now put your trust and confident reliance in the Lord God Almighty. You see Him, you revere Him, and you worship Him alone.
  • First Nations sons and daughters, arise and shift into destiny, with a dance of deliverance and a strong song, boldly decreeing the Word of the Lord with your new voice!

“Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, ‘Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’ So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped” (Rev. 14:14–16).

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12).

Crossing Over into Fullness for End-Time Harvest

Monday, September 26, is the start of the new Hebrew Year 5783. It is also a new beginning. This year in particular, I feel we will see momentous changes and great harvest.

When Covid-19 really started gaining traction in early 2020, the Lord asked us to pay close attention to the three annual feasts—Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles—and to note that each was a time of divine appointment, alignment, and preparation for us as His army for the coming harvest. God used Passover this year to release a strong anointing to us. And these past six months there has been a continual sense that we’re about to enter something new—something we’ve never seen before.

I believe it is all about end-time harvest. We, God’s people—His church—are to move in Him with the power and authority He has always longed for us to have. We will see signs, wonders, miracles, and harvest just like the early church experienced in the book of Acts. We will see the reality of Jesus’s words: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12).

In early 2020, the Lord drew my attention to Deuteronomy 29:7–8. The children of Israel were positioned to enter the Promised Land. But first they had to pass through Heshbon and Bashan, two kingdoms on the east side of the Jordan. They requested passage, but were refused. They had no choice but go to war, and conquered both kingdoms. The tribes of Gad, Reuben, and half of Manasseh asked for—and were granted—those lands as their portion. Thus, we could say Israel received a part of—but not the full—promise. They were still not in the Promised Land, the land God had promised to Abraham and his descendants.

I knew the Lord had a message for me in this, but couldn’t fully grasp it. In 2019, the Lord connected us with John and Carol Arnott and Catch The Fire (now headed by Duncan and Kate Smith). We were invited to “merge” or fuse together with them as one. By the end of 2019, we had made the decision to merge all of Arise 5 into Catch The Fire. It was only later that I began to see that the above passage was a prophetic picture of promise for us and Arise 5.

One could say that until then Arise 5 was already receiving its inheritance. We were being blessed and used by the Lord. But God wanted to give us more. What we had until then was only a beginning. It was only a small part. Joining—fusing together—with Catch The Fire was like crossing over into the fullness of God’s promise for us. Just as the Promised Land was far greater than what was on the east side of the Jordan, likewise God wanted to give us much more than we had before.

A Prophetic Picture for All of Us Now!

But this picture is for all of us. It is for churches around the world. We are passing into something new. Leaders and prophets around the world know that we, the people of God, are shifting into something we’ve never seen before. Something momentous. What is it? I feel it is the church crossing over into its full inheritance, just like Israel crossed the Jordan River into theirs.

The roughly 2,000 years from Jesus’s resurrection and the birth of the church until today have been like Israel only being on the east side of the Jordan. Many wonderful things have happened in these past 2000 years. The early church was so powerful with signs and wonders, and it quickly grew. The Dark Ages were difficult, but God has been faithful and the church has grown and matured. God has been restoring us to be similar to the early church. Today we see miracles, healings, and many wonderful things from God. Yet we know deep in our hearts that there is still more.

While we are grateful for all God has done these past 2,000 years, I feel that has been just a preparation or foretaste. The land Israel received east of the Jordan was good, but was only a part—only a foretaste. Israel still had to cross over and take the real thing.

I feel that is precisely what is happening now. Now, 2022 (or Hebrew year 5783), is the time. We have been restored. We have been prepared and we will cross over. Just as the Promised Land was so much larger, fuller, and greater than the land east of the Jordan, so will it be with what we, His church, are crossing over into now.

I believe we will begin to see signs, wonders, and healings far greater than ever before. I believe we will fully experience the “greater works” of John 14:12. I believe we will see an incredible and rapid harvest. Perhaps this “now generation” will see far greater harvest than ever was reaped in the past 2,000 years.

Yes, it certainly boggles the mind and stretches our thinking. But throughout the Bible God has spoken about a great end-time harvest that will come in very quickly. I think we are entering into it. The time is now.

Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral a Confirming Sign?

A Japanese pastor friend told me that he watched the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II. He described it as the biggest evangelism meeting imaginable. The God who created us, Jesus who suffered and died for us, the resurrection, new life in Christ, the power of the cross—all those things were clearly stated. The hand of the Lord and the presence of God was on that funeral.

Perhaps we can take that as a prophetic sign that indeed now is the beginning of the great harvest.

A New Beginning

The first day of the seventh Hebrew month, Tishrei, is not referred to as Rosh Chodesh—head of the month, but is known as Rosh Hashanah—head of the year. It is the beginning of the new Hebrew Year 5783. Note the three feasts/special days this month: Blowing of Trumpets (or shofars)—a daylong event on Tishrei 1 (Sept. 26) heralding the new year; the Day of Atonement on Tishrei 10 (Oct. 5); and the Feast of Tabernacles from Tishrei 15–21 (Oct. 10–16).

Let’s also remember this Hebrew decade of the “80s” is tied to the Hebrew letter pey, which carries the meaning of “mouth” and “speaking.” God is speaking loud and clear this decade. We know 5781 was about the voice of God the Father, and 5782 was about the voice/message of Jesus and His salvation being heard loud and clear. I wait for those with deeper understanding to more fully explain the prophetic significance of 5783. But we do know 5783 is about the following things:

  • Agreement—Be in full agreement with the Lord and walk with Him that way each day.
  • Something has been completed and now we are entering into a new beginning.
  • The Lord will not be silent. We will see mercy and we will see retribution.
  1. Tishrei is the month of Ephraim, the second son of Joseph. Be fruitful and multiply. See Genesis 49:22, which reads, Joseph is a fruitful bough … his branches run over the wall.” Also see Genesis 49:26, which states, “The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors.” Be sure to have a mindset of receiving blessings and speaking about them.
  2. The seventh month. The “dearest” of months—because all sevens are dear to God, creating the most “satiated” or “full” month. We are now at a new beginning. Think, “fullness of God.” God wants us to expect blessing and fullness from Him. The more we daily walk and talk with Him, the more we will experience His blessing and fullness overflowing in us.
  3. The month where divine providence creates a “beginning.” This is the beginning of the Hebrew year 5783. We must be in full agreement with the Lord and what He is doing. Not only is it the beginning of a new year, but it’s also the beginning of harvest in this era of great harvest.
  4. The beginning of six months of “reflected light. This changes our environment, the way we process time, the way we work, the way crops grow, and the way we harvest. Think of yourself as one who reflects the glory of the Lord all around you. See Isaiah 60:1–9, John 8:12, and John 9:5. Think of God reflecting His glory on you.
  5. Month of the Hebrew letter lamed [ל], which signifies the aspiration to return to your absolute source. We start the new year right by dedicating ourselves to Him—by declaring He is our source in all things. Thank God for the shaking during Covid to remove distractions and wrong things in our lives.
  6. The month of return. We need to declare that things that have been scattered will come back. (The devil wants to scatter and dissipate; the Lord wants to gather and strengthen.) I feel many of us will see much restoration—whether personal, in families, in work/ministry, or in vision.
  7. Month of Libra (the scales). The deeds of man are weighed, and judgment is released. Note that the Day of Atonement, the tenth day of Tishrei (Oct. 5), is considered a day of judgment. Declare, “Lord, You are in charge of the whole world and You release Your judgments at the right time.”
  8. Month of “touch.” Think of the woman who pressed through and touched Jesus’s garments (see Luke 8:40–48). This is the time to touch and be touched by the Lord in a deeper way.
  9. Month of the gallbladder. This is a time of spiritual awakening. Be sure to remove that which would keep you from returning or entering into the fullness God has for you.
  10. Purge yourself of bitterness. At the head of the year—this month—you must purge yourself of bitterness. In the first month, Nissan, we had to watch out for bitterness. Now in the seventh month, go a step further and make sure you are purged of all bitterness—against people, against yourself, and against the Lord (see Hebrews 12:15).
  11. A month of well-balanced control. Some things are coming to completion; others are just beginning.
  12. This month is also linked with Joseph, which refers to a double portion. See Genesis 49:22–26. Joseph had two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, who became two of the twelve tribes of Israel. Rejoice because God has a double portion for you!

WFJ. NITA JOHNSON. 8.11.22 “I WILL NOT GIVE TO THE LORD THAT WHICH COSTS ME NOTHING.” 

He loves America, He does not want to see this nation burn; He wants to see America prosper. There are so many things that He has told me, shown me – many things, face to face; other things in dreams or visions, that have not yet come to pass. Yet the wonderful things – (and they have been planned from before the beginning, before America ever was) –  they were in the heart of our God, to do through this nation, to the people of the earth.

God is not a turncoat, He cannot lie.  The only reason He would change His mind would be if America sins so grossly and absolutely refused to repent, refused to work with Him, refused to do what was needed, for Him to accomplish what He wanted to accomplish. Then He would have no choice but to discipline those people.  

GOD’S PLAN FOR HIS PEOPLE; MAN’S PLAN

It reminds me of Moses on top of the mountain with our Lord.  He is up there receiving the 10 Commandments , finding out what God is all about. There at the bottom, practicing idolatry of the worst nature – God is wanting to do one thing to bring this holy nation into a nation He chooses to make holy, to make His Name great in the earth, for the sake of His people – that was God’s plan. Man’s plan was: “we want to get out of Egypt for sure, because we are slaves here!  We don’t like it here.  It’s hot, it’s miserable.  Everybody is mean because they are miserable.” 

NO HEART TO DO WHAT HE REQUIRED

But to do what the Lord required, they had no heart to do. For that reason, the Lord had to keep putting off His will, because man would not cooperate with Him. 

That is where we stand in America.  If we will cooperate with Him, everything He said He would do, He will do! If we won’t, He may have to wait for another generation.

But God’s heart burns to bless America for the sake of His church.

Having said that, let’s turn in our Bibles to 2 Samuel 24:

But King David said to Araunah, No, but I will buy it from you for a price.

He’s talking about the land.

I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God of that which costs me nothing. So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.

I’m going to read something that I wrote several years ago; I did it in a meditative state.  But for some reason, this evening the Lord has asked me to share it with you. It is my heart about growing in God.  So I am going to read it. Then I will elaborate on it.

Father, we thank You for Your precious Spirit, how He is with us every moment of every day. He watches over us, He watches us, and He is always seeking to do that which is good, that which is right, and that which is Your will; and that means so much to us, it causes us to feel so safe.  

Thank You father for Your love. Please help me share this with these people, I know You have something in mind, I am not sure exactly what that is; I hope and trust that You will perform Your will as we partake of this together this evening.

THE NEW ORLEANS FACILITY, DEVASTATED BY KATRINA

I wrote this while we were ministering in NOLA (New Orleans).  We were moving out of one facility, and moving into another. We had refurbished one facility, because the situation in NOLA at that time was: you either  were kind of moved into housing up in a facility; or the facility was so trashed – many times beyond the point of repair – that you couldn’t do anything with it.

We had just refurbished one facility, when the pastor decided they wanted to go ahead and take possession of it. I think they liked the work we did, in fixing it up; they were very, very pleased with it.  It allowed them to get their youth working together, to rebuild the youth ministry.  So, I didn’t mind, I don’t think anyone minded; but it did mean we had to move. 

So we looked around, and a couple of the men that worked with us met together with a realtor regarding a particular property that had been utterly trashed by Katrina.  It was in bad shape, it stunk to ‘high heavens’ and you could barely tell it was a building, so devastated by Katrina! Walls knocked down, interior walls were absolutely spliced, almost to nonexistence.  It was really a mess.

But they felt God wanted to do something beautiful in that building.  So they came and got me, and asked me to go over with them and the realtor, and take a look at the building, which I did. 

I am thinking – (and I said) – “I will never rent this building, I will never move our ministry into this building, this building is so bad… there’s no way it would be cost effective. It would cost us much more than we could ever gain from it. It is such a mess; we have to go right down inside the concrete to try to restore this building. You have got to know, it will take months for us to do this. “

People are waiting for us to get back into the meeting, so that we can move on in the glory of God that has begun to fall.  So they just kind of shook their heads in acquiescence. We started to turn around and walk out. 

We got halfway back to the front, when the Lord said: “I want you to move into this building, I will take care of the needs of allowing that to happen. But this is My will.“ 

Well that changes everything.  So needless to say, we rented it.

So, this that I am going to be reading to You kind of comes out of that very, very difficult season where we were trying to do the impossible, in tandem with the Lord’s will – and it wasn’t easy.  But we were determined to obey.  So, please keep all that in mind as I read:

David once said, I will not give to the Lord what cost me nothing.

COUNTING THE COST

Those words went through my mind constantly over a week as I  was once again counting the cost of discipleship. 

I did not know if I was the best person for this job; and I did not know if I was the greatest example of pursuit of Christ.  Nor do I  know if I was the best leader for this team. In fact, I thought in all honesty, that I was none of the above. The only thing that I knew at this point was that I  was there. I was pursuing, and I was the head of the team. 

At that time, my questions to myself were: could I?  Did I want to?  Was I still willing to pay the price? I was feeling very, very discouraged. And I also looked at the sanctuary we were repairing for the Lord. 

I stood amazed.  At my request, the man I assigned to evaluate the cost jotted down a few figures, and came up with about 30 thousand in repair costs. With that figure in mind, and mutual agreement among the team members, we moved ahead and undertook the task.

The more we got into the work of reconstruction, however, the more we saw how deep the corruption had gone, and how much our investment to fix it all would entail. We were now in some very realistic terms, coming to grips with the need to perhaps spend another 70 thousand just for the refurbishing of this new facility. 

The Lord knew it all along, but did not alert any of us to this monumental task! There was one who was very familiar with the market; even he did not foresee until later the greatness of the need nor the challenge in cost factor (for taking care of the building) with which we have been confronted.  We were only doing what had to be done, and doing it as inexpensively as we could. Still, the price tag to such a small ministry was challenging at best. 

I  could remember looking at this building when I  first walked through it. I  kept telling our man that this was worse than the gym (that was the previous building that we had renovated).  “The price is going to be higher than the gym!”

It was overwhelming to me. I hated this building! The 2 men felt it would be such the right building, and God would ‘work it all out for us.’  I, on the other hand, wanted to run; but then GOD came upon me, one of the men that was with me and the realtor (his name was Kim). 

I stood still in my tracks, because I was at that moment being confronted – not with a building, but with a calling. The question was no longer, did I want to tackle the building; but NOW, did I want to pay the price to pursue God?  

WHY THIS BUILDING?

Over the next couple weeks the question “Why?” had arisen (not a few times). Why this building? Why this time? Why these circumstances? 

Why all the questions?

Because I was counting the cost. 

MY PURSUIT WAS HIM. AN EASY ROAD?

For a moment I hated this building. Then the Lord said it was His future sanctuary. I thought, well how could I hate what He loved?  I could not — for my pursuit was HIM. Therefore I would love what He loved and I would dwell where He dwelled, if I was counted worthy.

I put everything into the framework of that building; 

However, the real picture was much larger.  

In that building, God once again was using the structure 

to speak to us about a city and a nation, albeit more than that. 

He was speaking to us about pursuing Him. 

The real question was, was I still in pursuit of God?  

If so, did I want an easy road on a fast train

 into the depths of God?

 

TRAVELING THROUGH THE ISSUES OF HIS HEART

Or was I willing to trek the path laid out before me, to ultimately find Him by traveling through the issues of His heart?

If I wanted a  free or easy ride, I might as well have left the train because it was not going into the depths of God!

THE PATH INTO GOD IS COSTLY

Even if I wanted to, I could not give Him what had cost me nothing.  That one thing I had settled in my heart!  Such a sacrifice, He would not even pick up off the altar. The path into God is costly.  I cannot pay your price, and you cannot pay mine.  Each has his own fare to pay.  Most will not pay it.  Only the noble in heart will search out the true price and pay it in full.

I have sought God with a zeal for decades; and I have learned these truths ever so deeply. The reality with which I was constantly confronted was not a trifling thing to me.  What I speak, I know for certain, you cannot give God what cost you nothing, He will not receive it. We began the journey like little children, thinking that God was so great, and that salvation was such a wonderful gift – only in time (and a little maturity) did we come to the first fork in the road where so many turn back, as it was a place where we were called to evaluate the price of true discipleship.  

We were all at such a place of re-evaluating our quest, although I might have been at that crossroads in a greater way than the rest.

CALLED AT THAT TIME TO NEW ORLEANS

I must say, if you were called to walk with me, you were called at that time to New Orleans with me. I was called there, and would only find the place I want in God – there. I could not return to California and find my rest in God, as His call was there. His journey led through the New Orleans experience. That meant I must weep there, I must pray there, I must know pain and joy there, if that was determined to be part of the ew Orleans experience. I must spend my faltering energy there; I must spend my money there.  I must lose friends there and gain other friends there. I must fight the battles of my faith there; I had to bear the suffering of my family there, if suffering was their present lot.  I could not go home for a brief vacation until the storm ceased, and then return; I had to enjoy or endure THERE, as it was THERE I must find God. 

And, you remember what New Orleans looked like after Katrina. It was a chaotic mess. 

To say no to New Orleans was to say no to the deep inner sanctums of God.  Why?  Because He called me to find Him there.

Once again, if you were called to walk with me, the same was true of you.  God, in all of His infinite wisdom, linked out life experiences with our journey into Him.  

RUN FROM THE CALL TO GO DEEP IN GOD?

To run from unpleasant places because we have become spiritually lazy – (I was speaking mostly to myself there) – and did not want to go through the pain of learning to endure the hardships was to run from the call to go deep in God. As we dissected this building and dismantled it for the purpose of refurbishing it, we found gross corruption everywhere; it was like a microcosm of New Orleans. 

EXPENSE OF REHABILITATION OF BUILDING – AND RELATIONSHIP

The expense and energy of rehabilitation was great. Was it too great? I could remember in the 2005 storm, when I was attempting to reconcile with my dear but disenfranchised  friend, I was really pondering whether or not I wanted to retrek that road.  I thought it might be easier just to say, “I’m sorry for my part in the misunderstanding”, and let the man go his way, so that I didn’t have to go through the suffering of trying to really heal the relationship.

As I was pondering that, I was watching a certain episode of “Roots” in preparation for our next GOE (Gathering of the Eagles). I watched the episode wherein they focus on the incredible dynamics of actual life as a slave.  

During that episode the Lord spoke clearly to me and said, “They have suffered so much. Can you not suffer a little to bring them liberty? I wept and realized how selfish I was being, thinking of holding back. So I proceeded, and the rest is history. The relationship was deeply healed. 

My precious friend was a crossroad experience for me. I realize now that had I turned from Him in my pain, I would have turned from all African Americans in my heart, thinking their battle was simply too painful. However, as with Him, I made the right decision and kept my heart open.

GOD IN HIS SUFFERING AS WELL AS HIS JOY

Following my quest to know God in His suffering as well as His joys, I deepened in my knowledge of the lofty heart of God, and through my crossroad experience with Him.

DISMANTLING NEW ORLEANS IN PRAYER

As we dismantled New Orleans in prayer, we found corruption everywhere. The expense in every part of our doing, in our part to fix it, was great – but was it too great?  

WORTHY OF HIS INTIMACY

Again: “I will not give to God what cost me nothing.” This question, this statement, this decision was being made on a regular basis repeatedly. If we feared the cost at any level and backed away from the responsibility we would have fixed our place in God by showing him that we were unworthy to know Him more deeply.

The more we pushed ahead, despite the discomfort with the challenges before us, the more we proved to Him (who gave us HIS all) that we were worthy of His intimacy.

TRUE DISCIPLESHIP: SACRIFICE

He promised that in the world, we would know tribulation; that He had overcome the world – and in HIM, we too can overcome the world.   The world’s way is the way of ‘cheap grace’.  True discipleship is found at the foot of the cross, which means: sacrifice.

If the battle, or the demands of healing that city was too much, so was the cost of discipleship.  

THE MINUTE WE SAID ‘NO’

For us who were called there, even temporarily, the only way to walk the path of learning God was to do it through the cross called New Orleans –  and all that entailed. The minute we said ‘no’ to any part of it, we lost a valuable victory and experience of God.  Therefore, my friends, we had to choose whether or not we would keep our hands on the plow and to move forward, or to have any one of us turn back.

“I will not give to God what cost me nothing.”

A RESOUNDING ‘YES’

To have said that to you was to say it to Him. I must end my contemplative battle with a resounding ‘yes’. As I have always done, I could not look back, or step aside. I must run until I had victory in my hands. Only then I would know experientially that the price of a sacrifice in holiness cannot compare to the glory of the victory of winning Christ

DARK CLOUDS DON’T MEAN A WRONG DIRECTION

I think right now many in the Church are being pressed. I think many were not prepared for a lengthy time of disappointment, lack of understanding of the ‘dark clouds’; we thought we were going one place, and somehow it looks like we might be going to another place.

But the question I want to ask is: it may look like that, but is that reality?  Just because we have battles doesn’t mean we are on the wrong path.  Just because we don’t understand doesn’t mean we are on the wrong path.

Just because we are facing dark clouds instead of a sunlit sky doesn’t mean we are going in the wrong direction.  Just because we aren’t every day, in every way, feeling joy over every victory doesn’t mean we are heading in the wrong direction.  

We thought God would take us to the top of the mountain one way, but He chose another way to get us to the top, and only He knows why.  As the Israelites thought they could quickly get to the land of Israel if they would just go on way (in one direction) to get there, doesn’t mean they were going the wrong direction when God led them through the sea. 

God sometimes takes us in the hardest way to show His miraculous power, and His enviable wisdom.  Sometimes we think He needs to run with our thoughts, our wisdom, our intuition, our understanding. But He challenges us to follow Him, that we might learn His wisdom, His knowledge, His understanding: knowing that when we have learned His ways more accurately we will be stronger, purer, more noble in our faith, and have a greater faith and trust in our Father and deliverer.  

We don’t always know why God says the things He says, or why He asks us or challenges us to do the things He does, and we may never find out, if we don’t follow Him! The other side of it is: we may follow Him and STILL not understand; because it is not about us understanding everything He does. It IS about us living in loving obedience to our Father. 

THE FAST AND THE HOSPITAL

I remember: years ago the Lord called me to a very lengthy fast. I was visited by Heaven in a very powerful way; I was taken up to Heaven during that fast, given specific directions for the remainder of the fast, and for days and weeks following the fast. When I ‘broke fast’, I ended up having to be put in the hospital – because in all intents and purposes, I had already died. 

My system had pretty much shut down.  Electrolytes that I needed (to live) were not there. So that was the doctor’s great report. Nevertheless he was a spirit-filled Christian, and he decided –  because I was a minister – he was going to try to help me survive; which, needless to say, he succeeded in.

When I came out of the hospital, you would not believe the amount of people who contacted me, wanting to know: why, if my fast really was of God, why did I end up in the hospital?

I couldn’t answer them. I  didn’t know why. I knew the fast was of Him, I knew (if I didn’t know anything else) that if He didn’t want me to continue the fast that He could have told me,when the angel came, to break the fast; but He didn’t.  In fact, He told me NOT to break it, specifically: until the day appointed.

So, I knew He was IN it, but I did not know why He allowed me to become so ill. I just couldn’t understand, myself; so how would I be able to help anyone else understand? So a lot of people really misunderstood me at that time. They understood the prophetic call to do what seemed ridiculous. 

But the Lord is sure; He doesn’t throw directions out like a boomerang – just throwing them in any which direction. If He says to do something, He means it, and He has a reason.  

STAVING OFF WAR FROM AMERICA

Well, He did eventually tell me: that particular fast was taken from beginning to end at the same time when ministers all over this nation were called to the same kind of fast for the same length of time in fasting – and people went through all kinds of things. One pastor actually went on to be with the Lord at the tail end of her fast; but many of the ministers suffered tremendously to do their fast, I was not the only one. 

Somehow the suffering was an important part of this fast – because God was going to use it to stave off war from America!  

Papers had already been signed, agreements had already been made for 2 large superpowers to join together to strike America in war; and that’s why we all fasted: to stop that war. 

WHY DOES GOD TELL US TO DO THINKS THAT MAY CAUSE SUFFERING?

Well, needless to say, God used the fast and we succeeded in our endeavor.  But the point is: why does God tell us to do things that may cause suffering?  It goes back to the scripture that I quoted several times: 

“I will not give God anything that costs me nothing.”

That is such a noble intent. 

He is worth whatever He asks of us, at whatever cost. He knows the cost of doing Kingdom business.  He knows that the cost of doing Kingdom business, and the price it will cost us, is going to be more than doing things for the world: because the Kingdom we are serving is not perishable. It is eternal. It is going to last forever, and it’s going to be the home of millions upon millions of people that said ‘yes’ to the eternal call, to come into the Kingdom of Christ.

Why does it sometimes take so much, require so much, cost so much?  I don’t always know; sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t.  All I know is: God is never wrong, and if there is a disagreement between us, I am the one that is always wrong – because He is never wrong.  I know that.  I have settled that in my mind and my heart – so it’s not an issue with me. 

If I don’t understand, I will do it anyway, even if I have to drag myself to do it – I WILL DO IT,  I will find joy in the process. 

AMERICA WILL PREVAIL

What is He trying to say to us tonight? America will prevail!  And America will prevail because of people just like you. God is asking you to make sacrifices so that His Kingdom can prosper in the earth for your sake, and for the glory of the Son of God. He is asking You to do things for Him that will demand sacrifice to do it. He knows it, and He knows that you may not always understand. But I can say this: if you will do it anyway, you will be blessed, both here on this earth and when you go home to heaven.  You will be blessed for your obedience. If people around you don’t understand, just humbly and politely allow them the privilege not to understand; and you just go about doing what you must do to obey your Father.

I’d like to say something here – and I want you to hear it:

MORE OF YOU, LESS OF ME

I have told the Lord from time to time, “I don’t know that I am really the best choice to do what You have me doing, all I know is that every time You say ‘will you?’ and I say ‘yes’, I end up with more of You and less of me.  I end up learning more about You, and about myself. I end up with a deeper, purer heart than I had before I began.  I end up with greater wisdom, knowledge, understanding, than I have ever had before, about the most important aspect of existence, and that is: You and your kingdom.  I don’t know that You picked the best choice for it to be easiest for You; I probably make things harder than I need to, not that I want to, but I know I probably do. But You’re faithful, You’re always faithful, to help me through my qualms, my misunderstandings, my fears, all the things you are not even supposed to have anyway.” 

“But this one thing I know more than all the rest, Lord: You are holy and I love Your holiness more than I love to breathe. You are love, and I love drinking at the wells of Your love, and I love that You have given me the power, the grace, to love You in return, I want to know You more than I know how to express in any language, and I know the only way I can do that is to keep following you, even when I  don’t understand, and You give me the grace and the power to do so!”

“Nothing is too difficult for You Lord, and nothing is too difficult for me if I am in Your hand.  And I know I am in Your hand, but when it is all said and done, I can’t speak for my daughter, my grandchildren or my great-grandchildren. I love them enough to give my life for them – You know, it’s been tested and tried.  It’s not just words; but I can’t make this decision for them, any more than they can make MY decision for me.”

“But You do know that I do pray, I fast, I believe, I trust You to bring them into You highest purpose in this life, because You are good – You are a good God, You are so good. I know You will do it.  But putting all that aside, I yearn to know You more than anything. I know how to say I long to know You; I fear the deserts, I hate them, but I would trek the world over, and any desert I could find, if that is the only way I could know You.” 

“I know that’s not what You’ve called me to; but Lord, whatever it is, even to that, it means nothing if knowing You is my end reward.”

THE TREASURE OF BOTH OUR HEARTS

“I long to know You, I long for the pursuit to be blessed as the treasure of both our hearts; and that my desire would be granted. I long to know You.  If all I need to do is stand here in this one place and wait – and in that,  my prayer – my heart, my passion – will be made realized; that’s what I’ll do, because I want to know You.”

YOUR WAY IS ALWAYS BETTER

“I am not asking You to do it my way; I want to learn your way, because Your way is always better. You’re wise than I am, You’re higher than I am, You’re more noble than I am, Your love is purer, greater, more honorable than mine! I want to learn Your way, I don’t want You to have to do it my way.”  

“I will not give to You anything that has cost me nothing.”

“And by Your grace, that will be the motto of my life.  For me, to live is You.  But to die – it, too, is Christ.”

I pray for the people that are on this line tonight Lord, that their hearts will be so enlarged to love you, to know you, to serve you, that they will never ever stop learning so they can have the best. In Your Precious Name.  Amen.

Align with God’s Will

Aligning our hearts with God’s will requires self-discipline, practice, persistence, and patience.

God is a gracious and merciful God. He treats us like His children and only wants the best for us. To accomplish this, He will teach us to align with His heart so that His glory can be manifested and our destiny fulfilled.

 If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all.. (Hebrews 12:8)

When you decide to align your mind with God’s will, you must let go of your own opinions and ideas, and turn to God to appeal to God for what He sees about you and what He thinks about you. But none of these processes come together as a cluster, and they require self-discipline, commitment, and love for what God loves. Understand that God’s will for you is not to condemn you, but to teach you His ways.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Understand God’s will and attributes, and seek the truth according to God’s attributes. God is very patient with us. God guides us like a shepherd who gently guides his sheep with His loving arms.

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. (John 10:11)

God knows that our lives are heavy ladened and our flesh is weak.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. (Hebrews 4:15)

Identify the lies of the enemy

The enemy is trying to pour guilt, disappointment, and doubt into us all at once. Let us draw upon the strength and authority God has given us, and command the spirits of guilt and shame, disappointment and doubt to leave us immediately, in the name of Jesus. They have to leave!!

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.. (James 4:7)

God’s intention is not to make us ashamed, but to make us clean and blameless. So if you hear words that will shame you and provoke your guilt, disappoint you and doubt, take up the sword of the Holy Spirit—that is, the Word of God—to sever those lies. Because words that create shame, guilt, disappointment, and doubt in you don’t align with the way God sees you as His child.

Seven Desires God has for You

  1. God wants you to live a holy life: for it is written:
    • Be holy because I am holy. (1 Peter 1:16)
    • Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. (Heb 12:14)
  2. God wants you to preach about Him: 
    •  He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.. (Mark 16:15) 
    • proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. (Psalm 26:7)
  3. God wants you to worship Him: 
    • God is a spirit (or no word), so those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
    • Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs! (Psalm 100:1-2)
  4. God wants you to pray without ceasing:
    • Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in everything; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thess. 5:16-18)
    • And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. (Ephesians 6:18)
  5.  God wants you to keep His Word in your heart:
    • Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts (Col. 3:16)
    • Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. (Joshua 1:8)
  6. God wants you to receive and experience His love:
    • He replied: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind; and love your neighbor as yourself. ( Luke 10:27)
    • Do everything in love. (1 Corinthians 16:14)
  7. God wants us to serve one another:
    • Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.. (1 Peter 4:10)
    • You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. (Gal 5:13)

Why do you say that these are the will of God? Because when we do, we attract the presence of God. And when we do, we know, see, and feel God’s perfect peace.

Put the above verses in prayer with humility, so that our hearts are gradually aligned with the will of God. Don’t believe lies like – if you don’t meet one of the criteria you will be charged…. Know that in Christ we are not condemned! Instead, we need to open our hearts to accept and recognize our weaknesses, and through repentance, prayer, and asking Jesus to cleanse us and align our hearts—our minds, wills, and emotions—with God.

Five Steps to Align Your Heart with God’s Will

  1. Record the lies of the enemy and fight them with the truth:   If you have not recorded the lies that the enemy is sending against you before, and you have not confronted them with the truth of God, now is the time to do so. You don’t have to make a perfect note for this, because such a record is more like a cognitive record in your head, reminding yourself of the lie the enemy is using against you, and you don’t agree with such a lie. And the scriptures against such lies should be prepared in your mind anytime, anywhere. Once the lies of the enemy resound in your ears again, you must immediately declare the truth (verses against lies) in the court of heaven, so that The enemy who broadcasts lies will shut up.
  2. Review Your Growth Goals:   If you haven’t downloaded the “Growth Goals Handbook” provided by Curt Landry Ministry, you can click here to download and start building your 5783 growth goals, so that your heart can align with God’s goodness to your will. The Growth Goals Handbook is not a performance-based exercise. Its purpose is to focus your mind on the path of life that God has revealed to you. As you fill out the Growth Goal Handbook, invite God to be with you and ask Him to reveal to you which part of your life needs to realign His plan for you.
  3. Trust in God’s Way:  Complete Trust in God – This may cause you struggle, but you need to trust God as a declaration or as a development of character that you can wait for and seek God. God is the God of the covenant and there is no lie in Him, so we can trust God completely. God never forgets us, He hears your cries, He wants to restore you at the most opportune time. And the upcoming New Year’s Feast of Trumpets to Yom Kippur, the “Ten Days of Awe”, is the best time in the “God’s Calendar” year.
  4. A.C.T.:   
    • To take action Apply, Change, transform A.C.T.. Find the scriptures that match your life situation, make changes based on the scriptures, pray and invite the Holy Spirit to help you transform.
    • Sometimes realigning your heart starts with taking a small step, and then taking a bigger step because of trust in God. Of course, sometimes we need to be patient with God, but be careful not to use this as an excuse to do nothing on our own. Begin to take the first step, and then listen carefully to the image of God as you continue to reveal His mind.
  5. Sensitive to the Holy Spirit:  The Lord leads us and works with us as we come to be one with Him. So when you take the first step, He will reveal the next step, and the next step… When you are sensitive to the voice of God, you will believe that even if you go astray, He will immediately lead you back to the right path. God’s will for you is that He wants you to know that He is the good shepherd. He purifies your mind with His Word so that you can test and prove His pure and pleasing will – these are the processes. And Jesus’ prayer is for us to be one in the Trinity of God.

 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.. (John 17:20-21)

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. (Psalm 20:4)


Yom Kippur 

The coming 10 days after the New Year /Festival of Trumpets and into the “10 days of Awe” and Yom Kippur is a time for self-examination. In the sound of the awakening trumpets, we need to scrutinize the part that God has revealed to us to awaken. Walk with the Holy Spirit, be mindful of the Holy Spirit, repent, renew, and reset toward the parts of us that we are reminded to revive during the ten days of awer. Beware of distractions at this time, and draw near to God , as James 4:7 ~ Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Though there are hard times ahead. Ascension, the transfer of wealth, and positioning yourself for the better things in life happen in hard times. God wants to awaken us through the sound of the trumpet in the new year, and then we will enter the deepest period of introspection in the last year, just like David prayed to God~ Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.. (Psalm 139:23-24)  We have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, but God wants to redeem us even more deeply within us so that we can replace the old thinking that keeps us in check with the “thoughts of faith”. God wants us to be perfect in body, mind, and spirit in the year 5783, and prepare us for the time of the Feast of Tabernacles—the marriage of the Lamb.

In Yesterday’s post, Gina Gholston shared a powerful dream with us. It reminded us of our generation’s assignment to continue building a highway to the top of Kingdom Mountain. What others began, we must extend.

I’ll never forget the day God asked me to agree in prayer with a dead man!

“Lord,” I said, “is that really You speaking? He isn’t here; he’s in heaven.” In retrospect, it’s comical to try and explain something to the Lord, but I felt I needed to state the obvious.

“He’s dead, Lord.” I reiterated. “I can’t bring him back to pray with him.”

The response was simple, But his prayers are not dead.”

That idea rocked me. Now, if you had asked if I thought the man’s prayers had died with him, I would have said “no,” but might have wondered if it was a trick question.

The Lord continued, “Until this generation comes into agreement with what this man asked Me to do, I can’t answer his prayer.

This greatly impacted me, as I realized God hadn’t said, “I won’t,” as in “didn’t want to.” He had clearly said that without this generation’s agreement, “I can’t answer his prayer.” The idea of God saying He couldn’t do this really messed with me. I had to know more.

I began to ponder Hebrews 11, remembering the heroes of faith listed there along with some of their amazing exploits. However, we often forget that some of those faith heroes did not see the fulfillment of their promises. This has always seemed somewhat contradictory to me. When God searched history to accent great lives of faith, He chose to list some that did NOT receive the fulfillment of their God-given promises. These people went to the grave with unrealized promises from God, yet they had truly believed, even making it into the great Hall of Faith. Clearly, they weren’t deficient in their walk of faith; why then did they die without seeing the promises fulfilled?

The last verse of Hebrews 11 gives us the amazing answer. Because God had provided something better for us, so that apart from us they should not be made perfect” (Hebrews 11:40 NASV). The Greek word translated as “perfect” also means, “to finish; to complete; to mature; to reach the intended goal.” They did not receive the fulfillment of their promises because God wouldn’t allow them to be complete without us. That is incredible! We, today, play a role in these individuals’ callings and assignments. Think about the ramifications of this: without us, God can’t finish what He began through these saints; what He started through them cannot mature or reach its intended goal until we grab the baton and run our leg of the race. That is mind-blowing!

God gave these individuals promises, but He didn’t give them timelines. He did not tell them He would bring the fulfillment in their lifetimes, although I’m sure most of them expected Him to do so. The eternal God, who transcends time, speaks promises that are sometimes more reflective of His nature and relationship with time than ours. At times, He makes promises to people, knowing full well He will deliver on those promises through their children, grandchildren, or spiritual descendants. I wonder what I may be finishing for a pastor or teacher from a few decades ago? Or perhaps even for some flag waving patriot warrior?

The generations are far more interconnected than most of us realize. In God’s mind, accomplishing something through our descendants is the same as doing it through us. Our comparatively shortsighted approach assumes every promise He makes will take place momentarily or at the very least before we die! We can’t fathom that a transcendent God might not share our urgency about the 80-year window we think of as life. Meanwhile, God feels no pressure and understands that if He fulfills His promises through our offspring, the accomplishments were for us, as well as for them.

Conversely, the opposite is true. The Scriptures tell us that the credits and blessings from what we accomplish now can be reaped by our descendants. Hebrews 7:9 states that the descendants of Levi paid tithes through their great, great grandfather Abraham. They didn’t actually sow the tithe – grandpa did. But they shared the reward. I wonder what blessing we’re experiencing today that someone else paid for! As mind-stretching as this can be, there is an aspect of our spiritual walk that stretches beyond the boundaries of our window on earth. We can connect spiritually with things that occurred before us, and we can contribute to things that will happen in the future. Our prayers know no bounds, as long as we are open to thinking about time from God’s perspective, rather than our own.

But Holy Spirit wasn’t finished instructing me in this prayer session. He had a seven-word phrase with which He intended to rock my finite mind. These seven words stretched my thinking yet again, and have resonated in me ever since: “I need the synergy of the ages.”

“You need WHAT?” I immediately responded.

It is obvious by now that this prayer time was wreaking havoc on my preconceived concepts and paradigms! Holy Spirit was making me think outside of my God-limiting boxes.

What is synergy of the ages? I quietly wondered.

Synergy is a fascinating concept. Think of it as a multiplication of power through combined effort. In almost all cases in the physical world, one plus one equals two. But not when people work together. When two or more people combine their efforts and strengths, power is multiplied – not just added. God so loves unity and agreement that He created a phenomenon through which power multiplies when we simply work together!

Synergy doesn’t operate only in the natural realm; it also takes place in the spirit realm. Prayer is one example. Spiritual synergy takes place when two or more agree in prayer. The result is that through multiplied power, much more is accomplished than would have been had we prayed alone. Leviticus 26:8 teaches us about the power of multiplication, “Five of you shall chase a hundred, and a hundred of you shall chase ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before your sword.” Something unusual and supernatural takes place through agreement – synergy. When we agree in prayer, our power grows exponentially.

Synergy also occurs when generations connect. Honoring our parents multiplies our years on earth (Ephesians 6:1-3), while disconnecting from them brings forth curses (Malachi 4:6). Spiritual mantles, another word for callings and giftings, multiply in effectiveness through generational synergy (2 Kings 2:9). God’s plan is always for the present generation to build on the strengths of the previous. This is the synergy of the ages – multiplied power through generational agreement and honor.

In Al Sanders’ book Crisis in Morality! He compares descendants of an atheist, Max Jukes, to the offspring of a well-known preacher of that same era, Jonathan Edwards:

Max Jukes…married an ungodly girl, and among their descendants were 310 who died as paupers, 150 as criminals, 7 as murderers, 100 as drunkards, and more than half of the women were prostitutes.

Jonathan Edwards…lived at the same time and married a godly girl. An investigation was made of 1394 known descendants of theirs. Of these descendants, 13 became college presidents, 65 college professors, 3 United States senators, 30 judges, 100 lawyers, 60 physicians, 75 army and navy officers, 100 preachers and missionaries, 60 authors of prominence, one a vice-president of the United States, 80 became public officials…and 295 college graduates, among whom were governors of states and ministers to foreign countries.(1)

Amazing!

When Holy Spirit spoke to me that day, I was already aware of synergistic prayer. I knew I could agree in prayer with the person next to me and multiply power (Matthew 18:19). I just didn’t know I could agree with the generation behind me! Generational synergy – the synergy of the ages – was nowhere on my radar.

Time is so much more connected than we realize. The Second Great Awakening isn’t over; it is just on pause until the third wave hits. Billy Graham’s evangelism isn’t finished; thousands of flaming evangelists are about to grab his baton. And freedom’s torch hasn’t gone out; its embers simply await the fresh wind of Holy Spirit.

Reach back…and move forward!

Pray with me:

Father, our shortsighted vision – in both directions – causes us to overestimate our role and underestimate that of others. We are but a link in the chain, a runner in Your great relay race. Heaven’s great cloud of witnesses is hoping we grab the baton. We commit to You today that these forefathers of ours will not have run in vain.

Cause a force deep in our DNA to respond to this challenge. Like a salmon being drawn by an invisible force back to the place of its birth, may Your eternal purposes arise in our hearts, causing us to reach back, grab hold, and run ahead. We are an eternal company, joined in spirit, united in purpose.

Send now another wave of revival, another blast of Your breath, another surge of Kingdom power. Revive us again. We are confident this is coming – we are agreeing with You, not begging You. We are Your family, partners, and friends – not hirelings. Onward, upward, and forward is our determined aim. Your pleasure is our reward.

In Christ’s authority, we pray. Amen

We declare that we will reach back and move forward; we will honor the past, build on the past and finish the past.

(9/26)Day 31, Tishrei 1 – Return to the LORD your God

Today is Yom Teruah (a.k.a. Rosh HaShanah), the Feast of Trumpets (Lev. 23, Num. 29). This feast foreshadows the second coming of our Lord when He will return with the sound of the trumpet, the shofar (1 Thess. 4:16, 1 Cor. 15:52). When the shofar sounds, will you be ready?

Prepare your heart for the Lord’s return as you read Psalm 81.

For each of these 10 days leading to Yom Kippur, we will read pleas of repentance in the Bible and have a specific point to repent for the day. Here is the teshuvah (repentance) for today:

  • Today, God calls to each of us, “Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you! O Israel, if you will listen to Me! There shall be no foreign god among you; Nor shall you worship any foreign god. I am the Lord your God, Who brought you out of the land of Egypt; Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it…” (Psalm 81:8-10). Note how these verses are very similar to the first two of the 10 commandments and to the Shema (Exo. 20:1-6, Deut. 6:4-5). Are there any things in your life distracting you from wholehearted worship of the LORD your God? Ask for the Father’s forgiveness today and rededicate your heart to worship Him alone.

Heavenly Father, You are the Lord my God, You brought me out of the house of bondage and redeemed me from slavery to sin. Please forgive me of any things or people that I have put above You in my life and any things that have distracted me from worshiping You with all of my heart. Today, I listen to Your call to repent. Today, I rededicate my heart to worship You alone. Please bless these final 10 days before Yom Kippur. May I be ready when the shofar sounds at Your return.

(9/27)Day 32, Tishrei 2 – Return with the sacrifice of your lips

Read Hosea 14:1-9

We have stumbled because of our iniquities. Let us return to His ways. He promises to heal our backsliding, love us freely, and make us grow like the lily and flourish as the green cypress tree.

Today’s teshuvah (repentance):

  • Two of the 10 commandments relate directly to words, the third commandment “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain,” and the ninth commandment “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” (Exodus 20:7,16). Today, let us return to God with a sacrifice – the sacrifice of our lips. Let us return to God in our words today.

Heavenly Father, I have stumbled because of my iniquities. Please remove this burden from me, take away all my iniquity, and receive me graciously. Today, I offer the sacrifices of my lips to You – to praise You alone, to speak Your truth, and to tell others of Your salvation. Please heal my backsliding, grow me as the lily, and use me to spread the fragrance of Your love to all those around me. Like Ephraim (Hosea 14:8), I do not want to have anything to do with idols or things that do not honor You. Please make me like a “green cypress tree” and bear fruit that glorifies You.

(9/28)Day 33, Tishrei 3 – Return in your relationships (part 1)

Read Micah 7:1-10, 18-20

Do you feel (or have you ever felt) like Micah, fallen in a hopeless, dark situation? Look to the Lord. He will hear you, He will lift you up, He will be a light to you, and best of all, He will cast all your sins into the depths of the sea.

Today’s reading describes a very sad situation where a person’s enemies are those of his or her own family – husband and wife (Micah 7:5), children and parents (Micah 7:6), and children-in-law and parents-in-law (Micah 7:6). Today’s teshuvah (repentance):

  • Repent before God of sins against your spouse, parents, children, and/or parents-in-law. Pray to the Father for His forgiveness, for the marital and parental relationships are appointed by Him and are very precious in His eyes. 
  • Also, go to each person and ask them where you may have wronged them. Apologize sincerely, ask for their forgiveness, and restore what you have broken. 

 

Father, thank You for hearing my prayers, lifting me up from the pit, shining Your light into the darkness of my life, and casting all my sins into the depths of the sea. Today, I repent of my sins against ______________________________________________________ (list names of spouses, parents, and children) for these relationships are appointed by You and are very precious in Your eyes.

(9/29)Day 34, Tishrei 4 – Return in your relationships (pt. 2)

Read Matthew 5:21-26

God wants us to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. The Lord doesn’t want to receive our gifts and offerings when we still owe our brethren apologies and restitution.  We cannot have peace with God when we do not have peace with our family. If we cannot love our brother whom we can see, we do not truly love God whom we cannot see.

Today’s Teshuvah:

  • The sixth commandment in Exodus 20:13 says, “You shall not murder,” but Yeshua (Jesus) holds us to an even higher standard – to not even have the root of murder, hatred, in our hearts. Today, go to your siblings and extended family (cousins, uncles, aunts, other relatives, etc.) and ask for their forgiveness. 

Father in heaven, thank you for my family which You have given me. Cleanse my heart of any root of hatred or bitterness against them. Help me to love You through loving my family first. Please give me wisdom, strength, humility, and courage today as I ask forgiveness from each of my family members. I pray that any broken relationships will be restored. Please soften my heart and the hearts of each of my family members. May our family be filled with Your peace and love.

As the elect of God, are you filled with “tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering”? God wants us, as His children, to walk in love, seek peace, and work together in unity as one body. Do you seek love, peace, and unity? 

Today’s teshuvah:

  • Continue in mending relationships with others. Today, repent and ask forgiveness from your family in the Lord, your fellow believers, and any people who do not fall in the categories we covered in the past two days (friends, colleagues, etc.)

Dear God, thank You for the family which you have given me in the Lord. Forgive me of times when I’ve held grudges against others or been proud and divisive instead of seeking love and peace. And to my friends and colleagues who are not believers, please help me to be a good witness to them. If I have wronged any, today I go and humbly apologize. Please help me to “put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering.” May I seek love and peace in all situations and at all times.

Whether married or single, young or old, God wants each of His children to live a holy life, because He is holy. Examine your heart and repent as you read God’s definitions of adultery in  Hosea 3:1-5 and Matthew 5:27-30.

Today’s Teshuvah:

  • Are you guilty of loving other “gods” more than God, the One who has redeemed and betrothed us to Himself (Hosea 2:19-20)? As Matthew 5 described, have you committed adultery through your heart, eyes, or hands? Return to living a holy, godly life today.
  • Let us also repent on behalf of the country that we live in and people groups that we are related to, who have departed from God’s ways.

My lord and my God, You have betrothed me to Yourself “in righteousness and justice, in lovingkindness and mercy.” You have loved me and redeemed me as Hosea loved and redeemed his unfaithful wife. Today, I rededicate myself to be Yours alone, to love You alone forever, and to be holy in my heart, eyes, and hands. Please have mercy on my country, _____________, and people groups that I am related to, ______________, for departing from You and Your holy ways. Please help us to return to holiness and follow You wholeheartedly.

Today, God calls, “‘Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,’ Says the Lord of hosts, ‘If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it’” (Malachi 3:10). Investing in His kingdom is the most rewarding, trustworthy, and long-lasting investment of all time. And if you have stolen from others, steal no longer. Work with your hands and give generously to those in need.

Lord, forgive me for ever thinking that what I own is mine, for all that I have is from You and it is of Your own that I give back to You. Help me to be a faithful steward of Your money and to be a channel through which You can work wonderful things in Your kingdom. Fill me with wisdom to invest in Your kingdom work and give me a generous heart to give freely to others just as You have freely given to me of all Your blessings.

Pray for America: The Respect for Marriage Act – an attack on biblical marriage

【Current affairs background: We asked everyone to pray and boycott the “Respect for Marriage Act” on August 22 (for details, please click here) . After the bill passed the U.S. House of Representatives, it has moved to the Senate. At that time, the Democrats still needed at least 5 Republican votes until September 5. Unfortunately, the Democrats had already obtained the support of the Republican senators they needed. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, the Democrat who led the case on Sept. 5, has announced that the case will be postponed until after the midterm elections. Thank the Lord for listening to your prayers, please continue to petition to God!

The following is an excerpt from Dutch Sheets’ September 14 “Give Him Fifteen Minutes” post to help you better understand the enemy’s attack on biblical marriage in America:


Reminder from Intercession For America (IFA)

“In what some say is an extreme response to the overturn of Roe v. Wade, the House – and now the Senate – has taken up a bill that would obliterate the longstanding Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). They call this fanatical bill the “Respect for Marriage Act,” but don’t be fooled by the name. It is not a respectful approach to marriage at all, but a radical sexual ideology pushed as a national doctrine. 

“If this bill is passed – it is now in the Senate and sadly has the backing of Senators in both parties – it would mean that states no longer have the authority or ability to define marriage as a legal union between one man and one woman. It would also require federal recognition of polygamy if one state chooses to recognize it. This bill not only woefully brings to an end the Defense Of Marriage Act (DOMA), but infringes on the religious freedom of millions of people of faith with this proposed federal law to uphold radical views on marriage.

“Here is a message you can send, or you can personalize it:

‘As a person of faith, I am deeply concerned about the recently proposed Respect for Marriage Act. It would not only fly in the face of our nation’s long standing DOMA policy, but also goes against the grain of 5,000 years of traditional humanity. I am asking you to stand with traditional marriage, DOMA, and people of faith like me in your district. I am praying for you as you take your position on this issue.’”(1)

Warning From Larry Tomczak

Larry Tomczak recently wrote an article pointing out the need to remain alert to efforts such as these. In excerpts of the article, he says:

“In our church on Sunday, a servant for Voice of the Martyrs ministry shared how he went to Sudan a few years ago to encourage Christians being persecuted. He was suddenly arrested, imprisoned for 14 months with ISIS killers, then sentenced to life imprisonment before God miraculously set him free. They falsely labeled him an ‘enemy of the state, attempting to undermine their government.’ Selah (ponder it).

“Is [the current administration] doing what political leaders did in Sudan and other countries to intimidate the opposition and manipulate the masses into totalitarian control? Recently, in an ominous, almost Nazi-like setting with a blood-red backdrop, flanked by military guards (never before done in America), Biden declared with clenched fists that he was ‘defending our democracy in the battle for the soul of our nation!’

“In this nationally televised address coinciding with the previous day’s speech (when he called out traditional conservatives as ‘semi-fascists’), Biden issued a red alert regarding the patriotic supporters of former President Trump, labeling them as ‘extremists…angry… promoting violence… anti-Constitution… taking away contraceptives… stealing our freedoms…undermining our democracy.’

“He appeared to be echoing words from a letter he received from the National School Board Association alerting him (without providing support) of ‘extremists’ at school board meetings that are ‘the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorists.’ In the words of Democrat Party advisor Kurt Bardella, ‘The Republican Party is basically a terrorist cell operating in America.’”

I do not identify as Republican or Democrat; I simply vote based on biblical values. There are individuals in both parties I would love to see go. No honest person, however, can deny that the Republican Party aligns more with biblical ideals and our Judeo-Christian roots than the Democratic Party. To this man, however, this equates to being terrorists.

Tomczak went on to point out that “Biden says those who support and vote for Trump are the villains destroying America? Never mind the inflation, recession, shortages or gas problem, border chaos, fentanyl crisis, skyrocketing crime, corruption in the media or the weaponizing of government agencies.”

I concur with Larry as he says, “I’m passionate to preserve our nation’s godly heritage; protect our children from evil by being ‘salt’ (see Matthew 5:13-16) holding back moral decay as Jesus directed; and honoring the covenant made by our founders to ‘advance the gospel for the glory of God’ (see Philippians 1:12-18).

“We love America, warts and all, and as traditional conservatives, we stand unashamedly for God, country, one man and one woman marriage, the nuclear family, the sanctity of human life (womb to tomb), and genders assigned by God only. We believe the rights enunciated in our Constitution and Declaration of Independence come from God, not government.

“The Democratic Party continues to harass former President Donald Trump and believes by keeping him in the news, they can keep the heat off this administration and the damage it has brought every American by its destructive policies and inept leadership.

“Here’s the deal: Don’t allow yourself or those you influence to be deceived by the policies and propaganda put forth by the media and this administration. They want to tear down our Judeo-Christian system and replace it with secularist Marxism that fails every time it’s imposed.

“Pray fervently. Ask God for spiritual discernment. Resist deception and tyranny. Communicate the truth. Vote values from a biblical worldview. Let’s stand in solidarity to clean America’s house and see another Great Awakening in our day!

“‘Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States when men were free.’” – Ronald Reagan

This quote from the great Ronald Reagan and shared by Tomczak is frighteningly true. Before you blow it off as just a scare tactic or exaggerated hyperbole, ask yourself what has happened to our free speech in the last two years. Remind yourself that concerned parents at school board meetings are now considered terrorists. (I will comment Thursday on judges ruling that schools can teach your children anything they want and support them in sex changes, without your consent or approval.) Face the fact that millions of people have illegally come into our nation in the last two years, some of them being terrorists, others bringing millions of doses of poisonous drugs, while still others trafficking women and children. I love every person that has crossed our southern border, and would do anything to see them saved and prosper, but this process is insane. Raise your voice against any of these things, and you are considered a fascist and dangerous to democracy.

Perhaps we should listen to Mr. Reagan.

Editor’s Note : This is a summary of prayer for the 50 states of the United States, taken from the 2005 book Releasing the Prophetic Destiny of a Nation by Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce. The motto is the name given to the states by the Prophetic Panel during its 50-state tour in 2003. We, the people of Virginia, are grateful to the Almighty God who gave us the power to make laws in accordance with biblical truth and to honor, administer and enforce them to ensure our freedom of religion and civil liberties.

Virginia, although you used to be the oldest colony ruled by the British royal family in the United States, you played a pivotal role in the American Revolutionary War. With the heroic spirit of “give me freedom, or give me death” for the United States to break free from tyrants Suppressing and winning American independence is the triumphant song of victory. Virginia, because you want to be a role model for the United States, you have produced the most presidents in the United States, and you are not the beginning or the end. Virginia, at a time when America faced the rule of dark powers and evil education infiltrated schools, you once again put on the heroic mantle of “give me liberty, or give me death”, and you persevered to take back the power of government and education, To God, you have set a beautiful example of a return to holiness, righteousness and truth to every state across the country. Therefore, Virginia, you are the realm of the glory of God’s King!

Washington State, you are named after the Founding father of the United States, General Washington, so you have inherited the American heritage and calling God placed on President Washington. Washington State, your spiritual life must also experience the gradual growth of President Washington’s spiritual life. For example, a mustard seed must first fall to the ground and die before it can grow into an evergreen tree. Washington State, your leadership in the Church will change.  What is hidden will be exposed! The worship is going to be very significant in this season. to lubricate you and make you pliable and soft.  Praise will break things in the Spirit.  Praise is going to free things and enthrone Me in situations. You will see Me move where you did not even ask Me to move.’ There is coming a resurrecting of promises to the state of Washington.  There is fruitfulness and fertility.

We, the people of West Virginia, reaffirm our faith and reverence and reliance on God in the presence of the Almighty God, and continue to do our best to safeguard the civil, political and religious freedom that God has given us by grace, and pass it on forever. to future generations.

West Virginia, in this end time The sound comes forth of a new order. “Prophesy to the bones!  Persevere with revelation, Spirits of death that have infiltrated life cycles will be dealt with.  Things that have never been opened must be opened!  The Lord says  “I will put My Spirit within you!”  As West Virginia is entering this stage, they are on the verge of the performance of God’s word.”  West Virginia, you are poised for a breakthrough!  You are very close to some wonderful things”  to seek out the deep wells of the past. To connect synergistically with the covenantal strength of their forefathers.

(49)Wisconsin:  (Badger State)     The River State

We, the people of Wisconsin, thank the Almighty God for freedom, and in order to protect the blessings we receive and protect the rights of the people, we ask God to help us build a more perfect system of government that belongs to God and the people.

“Wisconsin is My River State.”  God is trying to release the river.  Satan brings in a religious spirit to stop God’s river from flowing. When God’s river starts to flow, it will undo the religious spirit. In the church there is a spirit of unbelief that says, ‘God cannot change things suddenly.’ A shift in the heavenlies brings a change. God wants to bring a fresh flow of revelation for the people of Wisconsin through dreams, visions and the prophetic.  Light is coming!  Intellect stops the free flow of revelation. The River frees it. A wave of the miraculous is coming to Wisconsin and a harvest with many fish!  But there is a spirit of unbelief rooted in the religious spirit.  Choose to take God outside the walls of the Church and break the religious spirit.

(50)Wyoming:  (Equality State)    The Deliverance State

We, the people of Wyoming, are grateful to the Almighty God who has given us civil, political and religious liberty, and so we ask God to protect our equal liberty for all generations to come.

Body of Christ in Wyoming. You need to know that you have a loud voice in the Spirit–that they have significance…When you pray and decree things, you have as much  a voice as any place in this nation…I’m giving you a sword.  I’m bringing you into unity.  You will overthrow thrones of iniquity. This territory will be a place of habitation of My Spirit.  Many will come into Wyoming.  and the voice of God will be heard there.”  Wyoming, You are gifted in the ministry of restoration, healing, and renewal to leaders, both secular and spiritual in the realm of the 7 mountain influence.

Pray for Israel: Watching for Israel’s Elections – Hope in Distress

Background of current events:  Israel’s political system is faced with two major dilemmas: First, the Jews, native Jews and native Arabs who have returned from various countries since the resumption of the country have their own complex backgrounds and have produced many political parties, and the political opinions represented by each political party are very different. The second is the issue of cabinet formation for each new government. Since the resumption of the country, no single political party has ever won more than half of the parliamentary seats. Political parties that have won multiple seats must invite other small parties to form a coalition government. The small parties that are invited often offer high political stakes in exchange, resulting in the fact that these small parties have substantial influence far beyond the number of voters they represent.

These two dilemmas make the Israeli government’s implementation of old and new policies incoherent, as well as the lack of government executive execution capacity and the confusion of the Congress.

There is currently no official prime minister in Israel, only a caretaker prime minister. Israeli voters have been overwhelmed by unfulfilled promises in four elections in the past five years, with clashes in the Gaza Strip and terrorist attacks in Jerusalem. The nuclear crisis in Iran is getting worse outside, posing a huge challenge to the next government.

Pray for Israel: Watching for Israel’s Election Season

Current affairs background: Since the resignation of former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett in late June, the parliament has been dissolved and the post of Prime Minister has been temporarily replaced by Foreign Minister Yair Lapid until a new parliament is elected. Israel will begin voting on November 1. That means Israel will have one of the longest election seasons ever, its fifth in three and a half years.

On this electoral board, political pieces are being moved. Some politicians are uniting with others because of various interests. At present, the election is still deadlocked, but the results of the primary election of the Israel Coalition Party (Likud, also known as the Likud Party) have been announced, and Netanyahu has won and once again becomes the leader of the Likud Party. However, Netanyahu is still facing trial in three cases involving bribery, fraud and breach of trust. The trial has been delayed for several years with no clear outcome.

Prolonged political uncertainty can be confusing, but there is no doubt that the Lord is treating Israel in a different way, allowing Israel to manage to move forward without a strong central leadership. After all, God is the “King” of Israel who has been watching over the nation and its people. Let’s pray together that God’s will for Israel will be done.

Critical Event: God’s Government on Earth

【Background: During the years of the epidemic, the way churches meet has been dramatically changed. In Canada, the United States, China, and many other unreported countries and regions, church services have been restricted by government mandates in terms of location, time, and number of attendees, with some requiring permits from government agencies, and some even having extreme disrespectful and unreasonable controls. As a result, churches have been transformed into small family gatherings, some of which are held on the Internet. Praise God! He allows this kind of persecution to happen and prompts us to think – what do we do when the government on earth abuses its authority? In whose hands is the authority?

Calling the Church (The Ecclesia ) to Rule

God does not want us to be bloodthirsty, for the bloodthirsty cannot achieve God’s righteousness; nor does he want us to slander or compete, but to be peaceful and show gentleness to the people (Titus 3:2); and to prepare the people to do all kinds of “good works,” which God wants us to do (Titus 3:1). What God wants the church to do today in this season is to change the system of concepts in order to enter into the reign of the three heavens.

Guided by the Holy Spirit

The Gospel of John records that Jesus “did and said only what the Father told him to do”. In fact, He was not divinely guided, but like man, He was always guided, anointed and filled with the Holy Spirit… In the Holy Spirit, He rose up and transcended earthly attacks and temptations, even to a height where He heard only the voice of God the Father and was empowered by the Holy Spirit; likewise, He was led by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness and faced temptations from the devil, but as the Son of Man, He overcame them all; He cast out demons as a result of complete His casting out of demons was also the result of complete reliance on the Holy Spirit. Finally, He was crucified in obedience, completing His salvation and receiving “all authority in heaven and on earth” (Mt 28:18), far more than those who rule and reign on earth and over the dark world. After His resurrection, Jesus said, I will send upon you what my Father has promised, and you shall wait in the city until you receive the power from above” (Lk 24:49). The church today, if it obeys the leading of the Holy Spirit, which is the Son of God (Rom. 8:14), will undoubtedly become the authority and government of God on earth.

The Need for The Ecclesia

When the government on earth is contrary to the will of God, it has effectively lost its true governing authority, just as Satan lost his position in heaven in the beginning because of his rebellion against God. In God’s sight, the authority of the ruler “is not an empty sword, but a man for God’s use, for good, for the redress of grievances, for the punishment of evildoers (Rom. 13:4). The need for the church (the heavenly council) to govern is becoming more and more evident today because of the wickedness of the present generation and because the kingdom of heaven is at hand! Peter knew how to use this authority when he said, “I have neither gold nor silver, but what I have I give you: I call you up and walk in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! (Acts 3:6)

Above the storms, chaos, and turmoil of the earth, there is the love and order of God being released through a fit vessel. The Church (The Ekklesia) is to govern and release the will and purpose of the Kingdom! Therefore, the Church of God must be anointed and guided by the Holy Spirit; it must change and adjust its mode of thinking or concept of government (authority); we must first go up to the third heaven and come down to rule!

Pray for Native Americans: Arise and Resound!

【Current Affairs: In these times, I believe the Lord is INCREASING and RELEASING His voice, with great authority, through His “first fruits” people groups of the land. He is raising up His sold out, set apart, Indigenous burning ones, and releasing HIS VOICE to set nations ablaze for Jesus.

Recently, the Lord took me up into an encounter, and I was looking down on my nation of Australia. By the Spirit of God, I knew that this encounter was for Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and other Indigenous people to the lands.

His Glory Released Through the First Nations Indigenous People

I could see glory mist rising up from the land across the nation. As my spiritual eyes zoomed in closer to the land, in the midst of the glory, I could see people dancing, and I heard a glorious sound. It was the First Nations Indigenous people of the land, worshiping and dancing in their cultural way; the dust of the land spraying up as their feet hit the ground. The glory of the Lord was released into the land as they stomped in the dance. The glory spread and filled the land of the nation (see Habakkuk 2:14).

The First Nations people carry a glory that is unique to the land. This glory is about to be released into the nations, and I believe it is a powerful, ancient key to unlock the awakening of nations.

The Rhythm of an Ancient Love

The overwhelming sense which surrounded me was that these First Nation countrymen and women were dancing to the rhythm of an ‘ancient love’ that compelled them to arise and dance with song; an ancient love that wooed them and drew them back to their first love, Jesus.

“Break forth with dancing! Make music and sing God’s praises with the rhythm of the drums! For He enjoys His faithful lovers. He adorns the humble with His beauty, and He loves to give them victory.” (Psalm 149:3-4 TPT) (Photo via Piqsels)

An Intergenerational Love Drawn from an Ancient Timeline

This ancient love seemed to rise from deep within the age-old layers of this land. It felt to me like an intergenerational love for our Creator was being drawn from an ancient timeline, up through the feet of the First Nations people, and released into the “now” timeline. It was being released through their dance, their song and their hands.

As we all join hands and hearts, the love of God will become known through our lives in the present day. We will be known by the fruit of this ancient love of God; the one who loved us before the foundations of the earth. This intergenerational, ancient love is reigniting within the people.

During this whole encounter, I was surrounded with a strong sense of surrender and being positioned right in the center of a place that beckons, “Draw near to Me and I will draw near to you” (see James 4:8).

Ancient Strongholds Broken

As the perfect love of God poured out through the land and the people, the sheer power of this pure love caused ancient strongholds to be broken off of the land and the people. The land itself was breaking free from shackles and being saturated and soaked in the love and the pure goodness of God.

Unearthing His Hidden Treasures

The love of God was washing away all reproach and revealing these priceless treasures.

“I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings. And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.” (Psalm 40:1-3 AMPC)

I believe the Lord is unearthing His hidden treasures. These hidden treasures are the First Nations voices of the Land, which are being unearthed from the lower layers of the land, causing them to ARISE and RESOUND – NO LONGER BOUND! Once hidden, now they will be lifted up from the miry clay to decree and declare the Word of the Lord, and to display His splendor. (Photo via Pxfuel)

First Nations Awakened Sons Shift Into Destiny

What I was seeing was the First Nations awakened sons and daughters shifting into destiny, arising from the land with a dance of deliverance, a strong song and a new voice.

“O God, my saving God, deliver me fully from every sin, even the sin that brought bloodguilt. Then my heart will once again be thrilled to sing the passionate songs of joy and deliverance!” (Psalm 51:14 TPT)

Cleansing Prayers

Dear Heavenly Father, I ________ (put your name in it) come to the throne of grace, through the blood of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, to receive Your abundant grace and mercy.   Lord Jesus, ________ confess You are the Lord of my life.   I ask the resurrected power of the Holy Spirit to fill and saturate every part of my being.   I surrender all my spirit, soul and body completely to You.  Now I ask You to reveal to me, remind me of any sin that I have committed known or unknown, so that I can confess and repent of them accordingly. (Recommendation:  quiet yourself, so you can allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you)

Cleanse me from all the defilement of the world, sanctify me and my family line of any unrighteousness with the blood of Jesus.   Now by my own will, I choose to forgive everyone that has offended me or hurt me, I release them into the freedom of my forgiveness.   I also release them from the debts they might owe me. I now cast all my burden to You .  Your yoke is easy, Your burden is light.   I now put on the armor of God that You have given me, gird myself with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, my feet fitted with the gospel of peace, so that I can pray and intercede in the Holy Spirit by Your mighty power, and after done all to stand firm.

Abba Father, I thank you for watching and blessing us coming in and going out, from now and forevermore.
Abba Father, help us to hide under the shadow of the Almighty, and cover us with Your wings.   I now plead the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth on myself, my entire family _________

Abba Father, send the host of angels and chariots of fire, to surround and protect us, I ask that You place the power of the Cross of Jesus Christ, in between everyone and the power of darkness that we might be facing today, to block all ungodly influences and keep us from all spiritual attacks, loss of property and any evil strategy of the enemies. We declare no weapon formed against us shall prosper.   Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil.

In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
