Pray for the Country 01
“The Lord is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever.” (Psalms 28:8-9)
Abba Father, ever since You established the United States in Christ, You have made her honorable, strong and prosperous. But she has forsaken You since the 1960s; within a few short years, we have reduced from the world’s largest creditor to the largest debtor. Leaders of the country have led us blindly toward the path of darkness, as a result the country had no vision and no direction, just like the late Roman Empire.There was no peace for the people and the country went on a downward spiral. Lord, we recognize that Christians are responsible for the rapid decline of social morality. We are sorry that in the past we considered it despicable and dishonorable to engage in political activities; in addition, we stayed away from involvement in governmental affairs, afraid of being tarnished. As a result, we have inadvertently encouraged all kinds of evil as they run rampant in the society, such as greed, deception, slander, smear, fornication, abortion, homosexuality, and same sex marriage. As delusions and chaos become pervasive in cities and the whole nation, we often find hatred, rivalry, corruption, division and strife among public officials. And as unfairness and unrighteousness become prevalent, we find all around us collusion between the government and the business. In addition, the TV media has greatly promoted all kinds of immoral entertainments causing devastating effects to the society, such as deterioration of traditional values, family decline, parent-child discord, social indifference, and church lack of moral courage and ability to confess and repent. In less than a few years, the whole country deteriorates rapidly to a level beyond belief. Lord, You are our last and only hope. “I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” Lord, forgive us for departing from You and forgive our indifference toward the affairs of our families and country which has resulted in unfathomable and devastating consequences.
But thank You, Lord, just when we were losing hope You raised up Your servant for Your own name sake; even though he was despised by the world but he “loves his family and his country” and You are using him to take back the White House and reign once again in America. Over and over when we have felt defeated, You did miracles to subdue our enemies and break their ranks. Even though they thought they were sure to win, You nullified all their schemes and plans. Even now they continue to stiffen their neck to fight back with strong oppositions to everything, dividing the country. Lord, how much we need You in this fierce battle; You are the miracle working God and You are the One who turns defeat into victory!
Lord, release Your saving power and inspire my brothers and sisters to continue to advance in faith and never to retreat but pray day and night for our leaders and their teams. When people see the prayers answered with signs and miracles, they will be in awe and inspired to come to You with their whole heart. Lord, give our brothers and sisters the burden of prayer and the strength to continue to cry out. Let the warriors You have called rise up to fulfill their calling and purpose and be fearless and victorious in every battle. Lord, we thank You for You never make any mistake and no one can set oneself against You because You accomplish all things in Your perfect time and perfect will. Abba Father, today we come together before You to pray with our local pastors and their congregations; thank You for giving them the burden to watch and pray. Lord, let those in power and their teams perform their daily tasks with ability, wisdom, and humor. Bless especially their spoken and written words to be wise and pertinent that no one can find faults with them. Grant them superior leadership ability to bring the country back, from a state of turmoil to a solid foundation. Lead the country and the world back to Your grace and purpose. We thank You and praise You!

Pray for the Country 02
“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.” (Psalms 36:9)
“… Return to me, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts.” (Malachi 3:7)
Abba Father, over the past year, You have been warning and shaking nations through natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, fires, floods, etc. Our only way out is to confess our sins fully, repent and return to You, because You have promised “Return to me and I will return to you.” For more than two decades, corrupt leadership in the government has caused many irreparable damages; we have also found hidden or in plain sight hints of evil lurking in the family, education, morality, and society. These adverse effects have also spread to others countries, either directly or indirectly, bringing about immoral and destructive practices.
Lord, I come before You representing those in power to confess our sins and repent. Raise up intercessors from all nations, peoples, tribes and tongues to call upon Your mercy and forgiveness of our sins. Forgive us for smuggling, drug trafficking, human trafficking, gambling, pornography, shooting, robbery, rape, abortion, homosexuality, same sex marriage, etc. (You can modify the list according to the Holy Spirit’s leading.) We also ask You to completely remove the following from our government: deceptive spirit, lying spirit, collusion between the government and the business, obscenity, licentiousness, strife, hatred, corruption, lawlessness, contention, indulgence of lust, and shedding of innocent blood, etc. (You can modify the list according to the Holy Spirit’s leading.) Let Your light of truth reveal all evil deeds and hidden things. Let the corrupt bureaucrats be exposed under the sun and brought to justice and let them be replaced with just ones who love the people and the county. Let the just rule America with the Lord.
This year’s mid-term elections in the US will have a major and far-reaching impact.They will not only affect the future of the two parties, but also tax law reform, nomination of judges, immigration policies, fair trade agreements, as well as Israel’s survival and peace in the Middle East. Let the Holy Spirit rend the heavens and come down and release multitude of angels and hosts of heavens to patrol America and bind rulers, authorities, forces of cosmic darkness, and spiritual powers of evil in the heavens, so that the enemy will have no right, no part, and no place in the mid-term elections. Let the elections be completed successfully with a peaceful transfer of power and without any voter fraud. Let God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Hallelujah!

Pray for Israel 03
“Now the Lord said to Abram, ‘Go from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed’” (Genesis 12:1-3)
“No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17)
Oh Lord, the international community has continuously exerted pressure, hostility and hatred on the nation and people of Israel. In the past, our country has participated in and encouraged anti-Semitism and has disregarded Israel as an independent democratic state. We have also harmed Israel’s economy through political persecution, trade boycotts and economic sanctions. In addition, the media deliberately discredited, slandered, fabricated lies and spread false news to attack Your chosen people and their government.
Oh Lord, we now confess our sins and repent before You; forgive us for being deceived and blinded by our enemy. Father, we ask You to hide Your face from all our faults, remove our sins, and break all lies and prejudice that we might turn back to You. We will bless and protect the people and nation of Israel on Your behalf; we will support also their diplomacy, trade, and national defense policy. Lord, we ask You to anoint and protect the Israeli Prime Minister and help him be strong and courageous. Strengthen him so that he can stand firm in the face of enemies, pressures and storms. Grant him wisdom and ability and bless him with a unified team to govern the country.
Lord, You are merciful and mighty in power; stretch out You mighty arm and show Your powerful and awesome works. You are the wall of fire all around Jerusalem shielding her from enemy’s attacks. You keep Israel as the apple of Your eyes and hide Your people in the shadow of Your wings. Mark Israel’s borders with the blood of Jesus and release mighty angels and heavenly hosts to camp all around them. In the appointed time, according to Your mercy, the whole family of Israel will return to You as You open the eyes of their hearts to know that Jesus Christ is the Messiah they have been waiting for! We proclaim that all Israel will be saved! Hallelujah!

Pray for Persecuted 04
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.” (Matthew 24:9)
“Some were tortured, refusing to accept release, so that they might rise again to a better life. Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.” (Hebrews 11:35-38)
“If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.” (1 Corinthians 12:26, Hebrews 13:3)
Oh Lord, today millions of Christians around the world are being persecuted severely for their faith. It is horrifying for us who follow Christ to see that people are suffering and paying a great price for being Christians.
Oh Lord, in the past, our country has directly or indirectly persecuted Christians for their faith. In places where they lived they suffered attack, abuse, imprisonment, torture, decapitation, rape, community expulsion, rejection, loss of home, loved ones, property, and work. We ask for forgiveness for our evil deeds. We have committed wickedness, rebelled against You and departed from Your path. Lord, cleanse our hearts and minds as You take away our animosity toward Christ and brake the power of hatred and violence in us.
Oh Lord, let Your light come upon us which visited Paul on the road to Damascus. Let Your light convict us of our sin, lack and self-righteousness. Give us Your great love that we may confess our sins and repent, pray with one heart, and remember our brothers and sisters who are suffering in Christ. We ask You to make a way for us to help them the best we can. Let us love them with both our actions and financial assistance. We ask the Lord to save, protect, and give them grace and strength to persevere; reaffirm the hope of glory that is in their hearts and remind them that those who endure to the end will have the crown of life waiting for them.
Let every drop of martyrs’ blood becomes an eternal seed of the gospel able to bear a hundredfold harvest to glorify You. Let our prayers, reaching far and wide, not only transform people/countries that are hostile to Christ, but also bring them spiritual breakthroughs and renewal.

Pray for the Country 05
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” (Psalms 33:12)
“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?” (Exodus 15:11)
Abba Father, our president is not perfect but he fears You, loves America, and loves Israel. When he delivered his campaign speech in 2016, he made a promise: “If I were elected president of the United States, you will not find for a long time a president who is as friendly to Christians and Israel as I am.”
Since Trump entered the White House over the past year or so, he has gradually resolved many issues that had plagued the Obama administration of 8 years. He eliminated the Islamic State forces and reclaimed all of Iraq’s territories; he created large numbers of jobs, reduced tax substantially, and subsequently increased employee salary; he brought about capital repatriation, economic recovery and stock market rally. In addition, he appointed a conservative Supreme Court Judge, Neil Gorsuch, breaking the deadlock concerning Constitution interpretation among the judges. Also, in May this year he officially recognized Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel and relocated US Embassy to Jerusalem; this is something that the last three presidents only dare say but dare not do. Lord, the president demonstrated great courage when he fulfilled his words and kept his promise concerning Israel; such an achievement in such a short time is unique and historical. What our president did was as if he prepares a banquet table before Israel in the presence of her many enemies in the Middle East. President Trump’s great courage and faith in God show the world that he loves God and Israel.
Abba Father, because President Trump has blessed Israel, we ask You to remember the words of the covenant You spoke to Abraham. “I will bless those who blessed you.” Lord, bless Trump’s clean heart and integrity and let the Spirit of the LORD rest upon him, also the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength, and the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. Protect him also from the temptation of lust. Let him do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with You that he will not only be a channel of blessing for America but also for the whole world. Let the blood of Jesus cover Trump, his team and their families. We declare that the power of the Lord will protect them from any attempt to slander and attack and that all weapons formed against them will not prevail. Bless him and his team to do all things well according to Your will.

Pray for the Country 06
Abba Father, in the past two or three decades, Washington DC, the capital of the nation, was overrun by corrupt officials; the collusion among various domestic/foreign officials and businesses was complex and multifaceted. Even a fired FBI director commented, “The inner working of the Deep State is intricate and pervasive. It is not something that any president is able to shake up.” Abba Father, this is the evil regime that President Trump’s reform government is facing. This is a treacherous battle between righteousness and evil that it can even cost lives. But You are a miracle working God and that nothing is impossible for You. We ask You to supernaturally intervene in this year’s national elections. Unify the church to intercede for the mid-term elections so that Your good, acceptable and perfect will be accomplished. Stir up voters not only to participate but vote according to the truth of the Bible for their choice of candidates for governors, deputy governors, federal/state House of Representatives, local city governors, and judges. We proclaim that, under the leadership of President Trump, the outcome of this year’s mid-term elections will be a sweeping victory. The world will once again see that the glory of God has returned to the US and that God will reign in our midst through the hand of His servant He has raised up.
We ask the Lord to shake TV, newspapers, magazines and social media that during the mid-term elections You will expose their unfair,biased, untruthful reports and lies about poll result. We pray that if they do not repent of their ways, they will no longer be a tool to spread evil, whether it is television, video, CD, DVD, movies, FB, comics, internet, cell phones, etc. Let the media begin to cleanse itself by removing defiling contents, such as exaggeration, attack, defamation, smear, violence, pornography, cult, sorcery, etc. (You can specifically name certain TV show, radio station, music, newspaper or magazine that displeases God. Ask God to intervene.)
Bless the round-the-clock gospel radio/TV stations to release the gospel message of Jesus and the Cross anytime and anywhere without hindrance. Let waves of gospel sweep across cities, town and around the world. We declare that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will fill the earth as the waters covers the sea.

Pray for the Country 07
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9)
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2)
Abba Father, in this turbulent generation many incredible things are happening. We believe that You are transforming the US and even the whole world. Looking back, we see that You have chosen abusinessman, even though he had absolutely no political experience and was ridiculed by the media and opposed by his own party, he was Your servant specially chosen among the thousands.
During his first year and half in office, President Trump resolved many unsolvable issues that his predecessor of 8 years could not solved. Domestically, he has abundantly blessed the people as he chose the talented to serve, promoted new policies, revived the economy, reduced taxes, and created new jobs. Abroad, he destroyed the Islamic State which was the culprit behind the large-scale migrations in the Middle East. Further, taking advantage of his international popularity and personal wits, he subdued the unruly North Korean leader to give up nuclear power and pursue peace; his ability to negotiate and resolve disputes has accomplished an unprecedented feat. In addition, in May of this year President Trump officially recognized Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Israel and relocated the embassy to Jerusalem. This is something that the previous administrations could not have imagined. Lord, we truly see that Your ways are higher than ours, and Your thoughts greater than ours. What You have prepared for those who love You, no eye has seen, nor ear has heard, and no mind has imagined.
In just over a year, President Trump has accomplished many unexpected achievements. It is obvious that if it had not been the Lord, he could not have done it. Even so, there are many huge and difficult tasks ahead. We ask the Lord to prepare a circle of Christians who love the Lord to walk with him every day and lay hands on him to pray for him. We bless the Bible study at the White House led by the Vice President that every meeting will be filled with grace and truth and the Holy Spirit will be their constant strength and help. We ask the Holy Spirit to guide the President and his team and give them wisdom, unity, and ability to manage domestic and foreign affairs. Let President Trump be successful in all that he does and bring glory to Jesus continuously!

Pray for Natural Resource 08
“And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth. And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.” Genesis 1:28, 31
“For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.” Romans 8:19-23
Abba Father, after the creation of the heavens, the earth, the rivers, the seas, and all things, You saw that everything You made was very good and You gave land to men to rule over. We have the responsibility to take good care of and protect what You have created. But since the industrial revolution, men have destroyed and wasted numerous natural resources for our selfish gains. We have caused water contamination and allowed deforestation to destroy natural ecosystem. We also extracted excessive amount of underground water causing subsidence and loss of soil harming the people living in the mountain regions. We have further polluted the world by the following: land waste pollution, air pollution, sewage pollution from factory, exhaust gas, nuclear waste, destruction of ecological conservation regions and greening engineering systems, ozone layer damage, deforestation, marine pollution, greenhouse effect, etc. Many rivers now have no more fish, forests are no longer a paradise for animals, and many unique creatures have become extinct. While hundreds of millions of people are starving every day, we continue to waste large amount of food and discard them as garbage, causing great damages to the environment, water, soil and many living things.
Lord, forgive us for our selfishness, greed, control, possessiveness, manipulation, exploitation and indulgence; not comprehending Your heart for the creation, we have neglected our responsibility to protect and manage; instead, we have destroyed the balance of the nature and its regeneration ability. We ask You to move pastors and leaders all over the country to lead us to confession and repentance in this matter. Let us abandon our greedy and wasteful ways and begin to cherish Father’s gracious and abundant supply. Let us be a good steward of faith by learning to make adjustment to supply/demand, share our abundance when there is lack, and protect the environment.
Abba Father, help us choose to live a simple way of life and reduce our desire for more. Raise up Your righteous and wise servants to lead this country to glorify Your name and give them the ability to preserve natural resources according to biblical principles.

Pray for National Education 09
(For Education)
“Thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked; whoever guards his soul will keep far from them. Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:5-6)
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)
Abba Father, the first thing the American founding fathers did after they sailed across the Atlantic in the “Mayflower” and arrived on the new continent was to kneel on the beach and thank You for Your care, guidance, and protection. They followed the teachings of the Bible, lived a godly life and honored You in all things. You granted them favor, making America the freest and richest country in just two centuries. There are footprints of American missionaries and blessings they left behind in many parts of the world including Taiwan and China.
However, after the Second World War, under the influence of the Hippie Movement and the Sexual Revolution, America lost her ways and gradually began to deteriorate. Now we not only deny the existence and creation of God, we accept the indoctrination of evolution, humanism, and the supremacy of science. In the 1960s, we further offended You when the US Supreme Court banned reading of the Bible and prayer on campus. From then on, our society became chaotic with endless problems as families began to break down and the youth generation became rebellious and disrespectful of authority.
Lord, we desperately need You to forgive our ignorance, pride, and disobedience. When we depart from You, we lose our protection and our families aretrampled and disintegrated by the enemy. Blinded by the gods of the world, our leaders resist the truth of the Bible and devise education policy that corrupts the minds of our youth who have become a lost and rootless generation. In just a few years, the education system in the US even embraces the teachings of “gender equity” and “sexual openness”, which confuse our children’s perspective for gender, concept of marriage and value system. As America loses her compass of Truth, she also loses her peace of mind and sense of order.
Lord, darkness has covers America and thick darkness the people. We earnestly need You to intervene. Raise up godly, righteous, good, wise, and insightful people to be leaders of the education system. Let them design righteous educational blueprints and guidelines that would not only stimulate creativity and interest, but would also bring back the truth of the Bible and correct value system which our children will never depart from. We ask You to remove all teachings that displease You; remove also illegal drug use, violence, lustful thoughts, stealing, dishonesty and lies in school. Raise up more Christians that fear You to be the light and salt on campus. Bless also campus ministries to have wisdom and ability to lead the younger generation back to You!

(For the Media)
“Hear the word of the Lord, O children of Israel, for the Lord has a controversy with the inhabitants of the land. There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land; there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.” ( Hosea 4:1-2)
Lord, we thank You for the technology, the media, the Internet, and rapid transmission of information through different channels to the rest of the world. However, they have deeply impacted our way of life, ideas and values. Lord, the mainstream news media of our country has fallen into the hands of the enemy; they mislead and deceive the public by reporting dishonest, unjust, distorted, biased and false news. They have deepened the disunity between people by instigating chaos, division, and ethnic conflict. Lord, for the evils committed by the mainstream news media we ask You for forgiveness. Other forms of media such as radio, television, video, CD, radio program, movie, newspaper and magazine, comic, computer network, etc., have also spread unwholesome contents that corrupt people’s mind, such as exaggeration, attack, slander, greed, violence, pornography, occult, witchcraft, superstition and other immoral contents. Lord, for the evils other forms of media have committed, we ask You for forgiveness.
Holy and righteous Lord, we ask You to rend the heavens and come down and send hosts of heavens to bind the power of our enemies so that the captives of lust might be set free. Let the low rating of biased media prevent them from further spreading evils. (You can specifically name certain TV shows, movies, music or newspapers and magazines that are not pleasing to God. Ask God to intervene.) Let the light of truth transform the media so that they will no long report unjust, unfair and dishonest news; instead, they will report according to the facts and the truth of God. We ask You to raise up leaders that are righteous, good, courageous, honest, and wise to take charge of mass media companies. Let them have a positive influence in the society by proclaiming the love and power of God, the good news of the gospel, and the principles of the kingdom of God. Let all forms of media be filled with the God’s faithfulness, goodness, peace, joy, love, and hope that many souls may be saved.

Pray for the Government 11
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” (1 Timothy 2:1-2)
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.” (Proverbs 9:10)
“When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but with a man of understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.” (Proverbs 28:2)
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8
Lord, the Bible teaches us not only to intercede for the people, but also to pray for the king and those in high positions, so that we may live a godly, righteous, and peaceful life. Lord, all are naked and exposed to Your eyes; under the sun, no sin can be hidden from You.

Our leaders and members of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government have committed the following offenses: covetousness, bribery, injustice for the righteous, shedding of innocent blood, human trafficking, smuggling, drug trafficking, illegal drug use, gambling, pornography, adultery, idolatry, lying, stealing, killing, hatred, strife, fighting, violence, mass murder, breaking covenant, rivalry, instigation of riot/chaos, unjust ruling, bureaucratic vice, etc. Have mercy, Lord, for in Your presence nothing can be hidden. Raise up servants after Your own heart to replace those who resist correction. For those who accept correction, we ask You to take charge of their hearts and raise up circumstances to break their pride and self-righteousness; grant them also the Spirit of the fear of the Lord to renew and transform them to become good public servants that they might do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with You.
Abba Father, You are full of grace, love, and compassion. Have mercy on this country which was once favored by You, once honored You and labored for You by sending missionaries to all parts of the world to glorify Your name. Now, in the name of Jesus, we come before You and commit our country in Your hands, asking You to forgive our sins and heal our land so that righteousness may return to this land. Give our leaders the Spirit of truth, the passion for righteousness, and divine wisdom to rule, so that this country will once again know the will of God, seek justice/righteousness, bring justice to the poor/oppressed, fill the hungry, free people from bondage and support orphans/widows. Let our cities and country glorify Your name and let them be called the Cities of Righteousness and the Faithful Cities.

Pray for National Election 12
“The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” (Proverbs 21:1)
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2)
Abba Father, we desperately need You in the midst of the wicked and perverted generation. This year’s election will determine the direction of the US in the future. While some trust in chariots and some in horses, we trust in our God for He is mighty to lead us into victory. Therefore, as we come before You to intercede for the US, we relinquish our burdens and concerns and we choose only to honor and trust You.
Lord, the mid-term elections in the US are upon us. The Bible (Proverb) said that “the king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” Let Your words be fulfilled in the people of this generation; we ask You to turn the hearts of the people toward You and let them not be enticed by the world and blinded by the mass media. Let them choose candidates of Your choice, those who are truly willing to serve the people instead of their own agenda, and those who advocate only Your righteousness and justice in the earth.
Oh God, there are many wicked laws in our country that need to be amended, replaced or abolished. We are saddened by the abortion law which has caused the lives of more than 60 million innocent babies. In addition, homosexuality was not only legalized but also taught in children’s textbooks, which greatly tarnishes our children’s minds, distorts their personality development, and encourages abnormal life styles. As a result, the society as a whole suffers greatly. Lord, move pastors and leaders in the church to teach biblical truth and stand in the gap, so that we will no longer be deceived but free from hatred, strife, lies, etc. Raise up upright and courageous professionals to make a stand to speak out against biased public opinion and perspective. Let the church find a way to effectively counsel the homosexuals and share the gospel with them; pour out Your great grace and compassion to the church, that we can reach out to them with the heart of Christ. Lord, stop also the promotion of homosexuality and multi-partner-marriage which are falsely advertised only for its benefits but not its devastating and harmful effects.
We ask the Holy Spirit to move mightily in America. Send hosts of heavens to bind spiritual wickedness in high places and nullify all their works so that they cannot harass people, nor interfere with the work of the Holy Spirit. Let Your children be filled with the Holy Spirit so that wherever the soles of their feet touch, banners of victory will be raised. Move the hearts of the people that they would depart from sin and return to God. To God be the glory!
