The Catholic Church in Spain also voiced their opposition towards homosexuality. The archbishop Demario Fernandez of Córdoba told his congregants in December that the United Nation has been aggressively shifting the world to become a homosexual community.
In the blog by Zaragoza, who is the leader of the Holy See Family Ministry in the parish of Antonelli, also said that there is a project in the Scientific and Cultural Organization of the United Nations working to convert half of the world population into gays/lesbians.

Dear intercessors,

Although we as the editing team have been revealing the spiritual conditions and facts for various nations in the past few days as various prayer items, each of you, please pray in agreement. But let us not focus on the negative issues, instead we trust in God’s greatness for His salvation and power of revival. Through the global unison of prayers, God will surely revive and transform the nations. God will reveal what are the destructive plans of the enemy , so that we can stand in the gap for the nations. God will hinder the attacks of the enemies. Just like how God used Elisha to warn the Israeli King the plots of the Syrian king to kill him, so the Israeli king can evade the ambush from the enemies(II Kings 6:8-10). Likewise, God will also reveal to us the schemes/traps from the enemies, how they want to destroy and take captives the people of God and how they want to destroy our future generations.

Due to the fact that many people don’t usually pay attention to the international affairs, they don’t know how to intercede for the nations. Here we want to pinpoint the schemes of the enemies so that we can pray for the nations according to God’s will. Like in the book of Ezekiel chapter 8, how God reveals to Ezekiel that the Israeli were worshiping idols. In the book of Revelation chapter 2 and 3, John had been revealed by the spiritual conditions of the 7 churches, among which 5 need to repent. We pray that Jehovah the almighty Captain of the hosts will reveal to us how to pray for the nations accordingly to His will. We encourage you, brothers and sisters, in your prayer, ask God to give you strategies and directions so that our prayers are in the will and alignment of God. Like I John 5:14-15 says “ 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”

When we know what the strongholds are for the nations, our prayer will then focus on the salvation and revival of God, thus proclaiming God’s prophetic words”. Let us fix our eyes on the victorious, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent great God!

The transformation of the city Hemet of California

The city Hemet used to be the epicenter for the satanic occultism. Due to the dominating dark force there, it is also a drug trafficking center. The drug sniffing problem is very severe. In combination with the serious gangster problem, the dark force also kept the people there in darkness, and the churches were also competing against one another. But God awoke the churches so they united to pray together in agreement and in repentance, sought after God’s face, found out the strongholds of the city, prayed against it, and pleaded God to fight for them. They prayed in agreement with persistence, and fast until the moment that God demolished the strongholds. Many occult groups retreated from there. Later an occult meditation center got burned by the fire from the woods, yet neither sides of the building got burned.

God continue to work there to bring gigantic transformation and breakthroughs. By their unifying prayers, not only had they caused the occult groups to leave there, but also brought to justice those drug dealers, later repented and returned to our God. Among which is a drug dealer, when he was on his way to kill an individual, suddenly Holy Spirit took hold of his steering wheels, and steered him to a church, the pastor prayed for him, and he accepted the Lord. The churches united together to share gospels by holding events in the community. They not only shepherded their own churches, they even united to shepherd the whole city. Glory to God!

Psalm 62:5-8 “Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.”

Dear Abba Father,

I believe one of the most wonderful secrets to be closer to You is to make You our only help and hope and have no plan B of our own. In life, we often find other things to be our reliance and help, such as money, health insurance, house, work, children, etc. Unknowingly, they have become our salvation and comfort, the “other gods” we rely on. As King David said, “Those who run after other gods, their sorrows will increase.” (Psalm 16:4) Therefore, I will arise and return to the secret place and cry out to You: Abba Father, only You can help me; I don’t have other plans and if You don’t help me, I will have no way out. Oh Father, You alone are my salvation; You are my God, I want to worship You!

I will declare in faith over and over the increasingly strong and clear echo within me: “This is my beloved; because he loves me, I will rescue him and reveal Myself to him.” Oh, Abba Father, thank you for letting my heart rely solely on You and my eyes focus on You, so that my life is filled with love and my faith is stirred to follow You freely. I wholly believe that You have a wonderful plan for me because You are the perfect Father, my Salvation, my Glory, my Rock of strength, and my Refuge! I will worship You all the days of my life!

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army. (Ezekiel 37:10)

Abba Father, thank You again for Your grace. Your love draws us to You, knowing that You will be with us in accordance with Your promises. Although the times are turbulent, Your words are settled in heaven. We will not be shaken, nor afraid. Increase our hunger for Your word, to be willing to study the Bible to understand Your will and the principles of Your way.

Abba Father, forgive us for not being good fathers and mothers. Pour out Your great love to remove the curse of fatherlessness and motherlessness. Heal wounded souls to break the yoke of slavery so that we can receive the heart of sonship, to be reconciled with You so that we can also return to our natural parents. Stop hatred and indifference, so the family and the land are no long cursed. Lord, please demolish the walls between the two generations, heal parent-child relationships in each family, restore parental authority, and the position and unity of love in the family. Let parents be diligent in their responsibility to rebuild order in the family. As faith is passed down, the land will be blessed.

Italy

[Background: Italy has been experiencing serious social and economic challenges recently. 39% of young people are unemployed; many are leaving Italy in search for better opportunities in other countries. 30% of people live under the poverty line. Unfortunately, the huge national debt hinders the government from solving this problem. On the other hand, thousands of refugees from Assyria and Libya who have been devastated by civil wars are returning to Italian coasts, causing the Italian government to threaten to close its coastlines.

Spiritual Condition:

The Early Church preached the gospel to Rome. Despite the Roman persecutions suffered by the Christians at that time that caused many to be martyred, the Early Church spread the gospel and expanded with much power. Since Constantine the Great made Christianity the state religion around 313 A.D, [Translator’s Note: Constantine was born in 272 A.D. died in 337 A.D. He made Christianity the state religion and ended persecutions in 313 A.D.] the Vatican encroached on the role of God and executed bloody persecutions against Christian faith in the name of the state religion. Then the well-known Dark Ages ensued. The Reformation and revivals in Europe almost never had any impacts on Italy.

Currently only 1% of Italians are evangelical Christians; approximately 80% Italians are nominal Catholics in their culture. Most of them have never heard of the name of Jesus (which is incredible). The young generation adopts secularism, atheism or agnosticism, mainly because of their disillusionment with respect to Catholicism which disassociated them from Jesus. The Italians need the gospel desperately.

The Chinese churches in Italy have substantially increased in number because of the ever-increasing new immigrants from China. On June 30, 2018, over 100 Chinese churches held a grand concert called “Love in Rome” at 7:00 pm in remembrance of the 1950th anniversary of Apostle Paul’s martyrdom. Over 20,000 people gathered together and over 1000 young people gave their life to Jesus.

The Italian Mafia, a well-known international criminal organization, has permeated the Italian governmental, economic and social sectors, even the churches, to cover up illegal unemployment and illegal refugee shelters, which have created serious problems for the Italian government.]

Pray for Pope Francis: Father God, we pray that You revive Pope Francis and make him encounter You personally, that he might set aside falsehood and embrace Your truth, that his life be fully renewed in alignment with You and live an authentic life of loving God and loving people.
Pray for the Italian Mafia: May God save the members the same way You saved Hanyi Hong, the underworld head of Hong Kong. Transform their lives and make them channels of the gospel to bring it to the Italian Mafia and all the underworld members.
Pray for the Chinese churches: May the Holy Spirit anoint and fill up the Italian Chinese Church General Assembly continually, to provide liaison among Chinese churches and mobilize them to stand in the gap and pray in one accord, to bring the gospel to the unchurched public in the Italian society and bring forth revival to bless the Italians.
Pray for Italians: We declare in the name of the Lord that God’s mercy and salvation will come upon the Italians, that the power of Holy Spirit will enlighten them to know the truth of gospel, that they will encounter Jesus personally and experience life transformation. They will be set free from the bondage of culture and traditions that have passed down generation to generation. God will be the one they are eager to seek. They will be filled with hope for the Kingdom of God. Those who have been lost in the mystic, in pagan religions and in the New Age will be completely set free and turn to the Father of heavenly light.
Pray for the Italian government and the ruling party: In the name of Jesus Christ we declare that God will save the ruling party and the government officials, create in them a clean and righteous heart, so that they will do everything for the benefit of this nation, to reignite the economy and bless the country.
Pray for revival in Italy: May God stir up more mission organizations and prayer groups to intercede for Italy, to send missionaries urged by the Holy Spirit to Italy and witness for the Lord, to increase the number of people saved, just as the apostle Paul did. “The following night the Lord stood near Paul and said, ‘Take courage! As you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.’” (Acts 23:11). We believe that Paul did not preach the gospel in vain, that the fire of revival will be rekindled, and the Christian Reformation will come upon Italy.
Pray for Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and President Sergio Mattarella: Abba Father, President Sergio Mattarella appointed Giuseppe Conte to be the new prime minister, who also serves as the President of the Council of Ministers. Lord, have mercy on them and grant them to serve in one accord and dutifully fulfill their responsibilities in their positions. Give them the spirit of wisdom and the spirit of council, a pure heart and a steadfast spirit, that they may be strong and courageous in dealing with other government officials, people or EU reformation matters. Set them free from any erroneous thinking and cultural corruption, so that they will lead the whole nation to fear God, return to her destiny and fulfill God’s will.

Spain:

[ Background: Spain was originally the Hispania province of the Roman Empire, Due to the fact that it is the bridge between the continents of North Africa and Europe, it has been a land of racial contention since ancient times. 96% of its population are Catholic.

The closest points between Spain and Morocco is only 13miles apart, African land at the coast of Spain almost daily, and the majority of these are of the Muslim faith. It is an undeniable fact that immigration has caused serious repercussions to Spain. Locals churches are the ideal places to process immigration, helping them to acclimatize to local culture, at the same time bring them the gospel.

However, the decrease of Spanish Christians has been severe – although many are born to Christian families, many leave the Christian faith, and as a result the Christian population is on the decline. The rate of loss in Spain is 26%. Even though the gospel had reached Spain since the First Century AD, the many years of persecution by the Spanish Inquisition by the Roman Catholic Church (meaning the severe Inquisition in middle-ages Europe, especially in Spain and Portugal – only to be annulled in Spain by 1834) has caused the believers ratio in Spain to be very low. According to statistics, over 72% of the Spanish people are Catholic, only 1% are Christians, with the rest of no religion.

“Along through history, we have seen that this religious darkness has caused a rejection and a lack of rights for the believers in the country,” “But despite the resistance, God has always had a faithful remnant: men and women who have been boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ, [and] willing to pay the price for the consequences.” (From Kingdom Revival Times: The president of Assemblies of God Spain Pastor Juan Carlos Escobar recently explained during a celebration of the 100th anniversary of the denomination that although missions work has been difficult in the country, he sees it as a “breeding ground” for the gospel. Escobar himself came to Christ in 1981 because of the presence of missionaries in the country, and began pastoring six years later. He said that he is optimistic about missions work in Spain as he recognizes an openness to the gospel in recent years.)

Spain passed the law to legalize same-sex marriage this June, and granted same-sex couples the right to adopt children. The passing of this law has caused Spain to be the fourth European country to legalise same-sex marriage after Belgium, Holland and Canada. Please pray for the Spanish church to have influence regarding government policies setting. ]

We pray for Spain:

Pray for the government of Spain – Bring salvation to the government officials, touch the hearts of the government leaders, so they will establish godly policies, to protect families and those who are unable to sustain themselves. Lord, save the Spanish police officers from greed and corruption, to find effective solution to deal with the long-enduring wicked tradition of human-trafficking, give them wisdom, to solve the issue of illegal immigrants.
Pray for the Revival of Church: May the fire of Holy Spirit rend the heaven and come down to fill the Spanish churches, raise up the Spanish Christians and churches, set their hearts on fire, to be zealous for God, pray in agreement, boldly preach the gospel to people that came from outside, the poor in the country, the homosexuals and their supporters, Muslim and those who has never heard the gospel before, so the number of believers will daily increase rapidly. In Jesus name we declare tens of thousands of lost souls in Spain will come into the name of the Lord, the revival fire of the Holy Spirit, will set Spain on fire!
The young people will be saved by God – In Jesus name we declared, the young people that are trapped in alcohol and marijuana will be completely rescued by God, to be renewed, healed and set free, break every chains of bondage, to experience true liberty in the Holy Spirit.
Pray for prime minister Pedro Sánchez of Spain: Abba Father, please lead and guide new PM Pedro Sanchez, give him wisdom, counsel, spirit of humility and righteousness, so he can work with the minority party to set up his governing cabinet, replace the corrupt greedy goverment in the past with a government that is just, righteous, with integrity and self-governing policies. And with one heart and in agreement to handle the independent movement of Catalonia and work together to make the society stable. May God bless the King of Spain and peace and joy to his family.

Pray for God to grant Trump wisdom and strategy to facilitate peace between China and Taiwan.
Ask God to break all the Satanists’ curses on the body and mind of Trump and his family, especially curses of health and murder.

Pray for the ministry of the artists’ Christian fellowships all over the world: Lord, we pray that You pour out Your grace and anointing upon the ministry of the artists’ Christian fellowships to swiftly spread the gospel to the artists of the art and entertainment industries and to establish prayer altars. Hence, through the famous artists’ testimonies, the gospel will be widely shared to win souls for Christ.
Pray for the artists in the movie industry who have already been enticed in sin: Many artists have been blinded and confused by Satan’s deception and are willingly controlled and used by Satanism. They have fallen into taking drugs, pornography, fornication, adultery, violence and materialism. They are confused and cannot save themselves. They have become channels for Satan to deprave many all over the world. Father God, have mercy on them and forgive their sins. Give them grace to repent; let Your truth shine on them; deliver them from the bondage of sins; turn their lives around to become Your glorious vessels to bring many to Christ.
Raise up young Christian generation to replace the influence of heavy metal and rock music industry: Majority of the lyrics written by today’s heavy metal and rock music artists are filled with filth, fornication, violence, decadence, depression, confusion and lies which mislead the younger generation. Their lifestyles have become the role models of today’s young people. Lord, forgive them and save their souls. Protect the Christian young people with the power of discernment that they will not be misled. Lord, we also pray that You raise up holy and godly Christian artists who love You to bring God’s love, healing, holiness, honor and greatness to the young people. Awaken and turn the young people of this generation back to the Most High and true God like the surging seas.

Urgent Prayers for Nations

Pray for Mendocino fires in California

[In the news: the fires in Mendocino County north of San Francisco is the site of the largest wildfire in California. This fire is called a compound fire, it is formed by two fire sources: one is from farmland, the other from the river-lands. 220,000 acres have been scorched, over 4,000 firefighters have been deployed to combat it, but the fire has still not been contained fully.

Abba Father, may Your merciful heart be turned towards us, we pray for California: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you, When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.”]

Stop the fires, turn the heart of the people: may God cause the rivers of fire to become river of the fire of love. Bring rain to cleanse the land and the hearts of the people. The great fire engulfed a massive area, please bring forth Your rain, and put out and stop this great fire.
Rise up the church: Please rise up Your church to be a help and refuge, extending hands to help the desperate and helpless victims. Comfort them with food and daily supplies, and give them strength. Display Your glory and love, as a channel for the gospel, causing many to repent and turn to Christ and God.
Protect the firefighters: may Your great power cover and shelter the firefighters and helpers, send forth Your angels and heavenly hosts to assist them in their efforts.
Bring peace: Please comfort those who have lost loved one, homes, farms and those who are now without homes. Protect their hearts, may they receive consolation and no longer be afraid. Fill their hearts with peace and let them have hope. Also assist government officials to swiftly end the fires in the affected regions, to clean and rebuild homes, so they may return to their own homes.

Pray for Chicago Shooting

August 5, one of the most violent weekends in Chicago, in a short span of 14 hours, there were several gun shot incidences. At least 44 people were shot and 5 fatalities,Their ages spanned from 11 to 62 years old

We pray to God

Heal the people who are wounded during these shooting incidences, bring them to quick recovery.
Comfort the families of wounded or killed with the love of God, help them come out this dark time quickly, and help them recognize they can only find true peace in Jesus Christ.
May Your salvation come to the shooter, for them to see that Jesus came to save the sinner. There is grace for those who repent.
Give the investigators wisdom and protection in finding the killers and break the case quickly and safely.
Bring revival to Chicago, raise up the church in Chicago through these events, to pray for their own city and government for the revival to come.

Pray For Iran – Israel’s Greatest Enemy

[Background: The state of Iran is still the archenemy of Israel, which also exert control over the Hezbollah, the Assad regime in Syria and Hamas, to name a few. Iran is beginning a major naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz, which is a control point of the waterway into the Persian Gulf, affecting many countries other than Iran. This has triggered an announcement from the US to begin naval exercise in the nearby region. Any attempt to close up the Strait of Hormuz is effectively a declaration of war. The Israeli response is to declare that she will react strongly against any such attempts to close off the Red Sea, which is a strategic waterway through which southern Israel gain access to all the oceans. In the meantime, due to economic problems and anti-government protests, internal instability is building up in Iran.]

We ask God to help Israel stay vigilant, and respond prudently to each action that Iran is taking.
Grant wisdom to Israeli and American military leaders, so that they would be able to discern and respond sensibly to what Iran is doing and expressing in public. (Proverbs 8:14-16)
Shake the political leadership of Iran.
Break the bow of Elam: according to God’s promise, may the bow of Elam be broken, and the kings and princes be destroyed.
Break the links of Iran with Hezbollah and Hamas: may the Lord use internal uprisings to break the links of Iran with Hezbollah and Hamas.
Raising up churches in Iran: use the thriving church in Iran to cause the nation to steer away from the current evil path.
Pray that God strengthens the Christian brothers and sisters in Iran: Lord, we pray that the peace that transcends all understanding and pure joy in times of trials will fill them up with hope through the Holy Spirit. Cause them to know that God is sovereign and is in full control. He is in the process of shaking, demolishing and restraining. God is establishing for Himself His throne and stronghold in Iran. Pray that God supernaturally meets both the spiritual and physical needs of the brothers and sisters in Iran according to His faithfulness.
