Pursuing Intimacy With God: Morning Prayer 

• Psalm 143:8 “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.” 
• Lamentations 3:23 “… his compassion never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Today we come to the secret place to meditate on the prayer of the psalmist who came to You early in the morning to hear Your word of unfailing love. (Psalm 143:8) Father, we also like to come to You in the morning to listen to You, look to You, and wait upon You. Your love and compassion are new every morning; therefore, every day we are eager to meet You in the secret place to receive the renewing grace. Oh Father, You said: Your favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning! We look to You continuously in confidence and will not be shaken, for Your promises never fail and our Abba Father is altogether trustworthy!

Oh Father, You cherish every moment we spend with You. During the 40 days of prayer and fasting, let our prayer reach Your altar early in the morning, that our life may be filled with morning dew, with more love and trust, and with overflowing joy to love both God and people every day!

In the name of Lord Jesus we pray, Amen!

Repentance Prayer: Repentance for the City 08

• Psalm 139:13-16  For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. … Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
• Proverbs 6:16-17 There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,

Abba Father, Your words have taught us that a baby in the womb is created by God and You knew them before they were born. Current researches also confirm the teachings of the Bible, affirming that life begins with conception. We further learn that a fetus begins to experience perception and consciousness from the 25th day of conception.

Abba Father, a fetus is the most vulnerable and powerless being in the world, the weakest among the weak. We have committed the sin of the shedding innocent blood. Please forgive our city for the sin of abortion which has so far claimed more than 58 million lives. Please also forgive the sins of sexual immorality which are behind and related to abortion (such as extramarital affairs, premarital sex, rape, etc.)

We ask that through our intercession, You would bear the punishment and curse of the sin of abortion on the Cross. We ask You to breathe life into women in this generation and to awaken their spirit that they might know the truth. Let them bravely say no to abortion so that they would no longer be harmed in their body and mind. Heal the body and mind of those have already had abortion. In the victorious name of the Lord Jesus, we break all curses and annul all effects of any accusations and spiritual  bondage  exerted by the enemy.  Let all nations respect life, delight in life and protect life. We ask You to stop abortion from being legalized and close abortion clinics so that more babies would have a chance to live.  Bless them with loving families that they might enjoy their precious lives You have given them.

• Father God will bless  Chairman Xi Jinping and all the officials of China and give them godly wisdom to govern China.
• Father God will give Chairman Xi Jinping and government officials heart of righteousness, compassion, and humility to walk with God.
• God raise up Christians to be aides by Chairman Xi Jinping’s side and be of great help to him, so that he will make godly decisions in everything to bring world peace. In particular, the relationship between Taiwan and China, so that China and Taiwan will be blessed as well as nations.
• In the daily busy schedules and routines, Chairman Xi Jingping will be given enough energy and physical strength, and also courage and wisdom to deal with cases of corrupted officials.

【Background:  As the Israeli elections draw closer, things are now heating up as summer winds down and candidates prepare for the last stretch before the voting on September 17th. Most of the parties have saved up the bulk of their campaign funding for this final push over the next two weeks or so. Israel is a vibrant democracy, but the political conversation can get rather rough-and-tumble at times. Meanwhile, most polls show the new Blue & White list holding steady with the ruling Likud party at around 30-31 seats each. Oh, Holy One of Israel, our God, raise a banner for those who fear You. We pray that according to Your perfect will, right officials and prime minister will be elected. Father, give the new leaders a heart of strength, love and a sound mind and grant the new government integrity and wisdom on such matters as marriage, divorce, immigration, conversion, and especially the law concerning Aliyah which prohibits the return of Messianic Jews.

We believe that God allows the persecution to come to the Chinese church again, in order to raise up a young generation, to make them a strong and courageous generation of Joshua, to undertake the mission of God to carry on the mission God has given to the global Chinese, and to bring the gospel back to Jerusalem. • God Is In Charge of Taiwan’s General Election: Heavenly Father, we humbly come before the Throne of grace and confess and repent for the sins of the candidates for lifting up names of false gods to win the votes of people and engaged in evil criticism and accusations culture of election. We ask You to raise up King Cyrus for Taiwan’s 2020 and pave a straight path for him (Isaiah 45:13). Remove unfit people in God’s timing and put into place the right people in the presidential palace and the legislature; cause them to love God and the people, and do what is right in the eyes of God, abolish the law of same-sex marriage, and policy that advocate the promotion of Muslims and LGBTQ. May they unite and build Taiwan into a country with fear of God, justice, integrity, and prosperity, and leads Taiwan into her destiny.

May You release Your mighty power to turn Taiwan over, cleanse the land, turn the heart back to the true God, and may God’s will be done in Taiwan as it is in heaven. Democrats’ radical agenda is ripping off the biblical constitutions spiritually and politically: ‘Atheism’ is their new-found faith. In January 2019, the new Democratic-controlled House looked to pass a bill to take God out of the oath-taking sworn-in ceremony, but was immediately blocked by the House of Republicans.

Anti-Judeo Christian values ideology has been taking roots in their hearts, as the basis evil uses to build strongholds. These strongholds give the evil ungodly structure to carry out his plans on earth. These plans included blocking the advancement of the Kingdom of God, and the spiritual and political enslaving of humanity. It seems to have succeeded in blinding the Democrat party, the media and the popular culture.

 It’s encouraging to know the fabric of faith is being restored. Is it because of the increasing evil oppression of violence, crimes, death? The pain of losing our nation? The fall of morality and sanity? May God raise up America with the finishing faith like never before.
