【Event: A Catholic hospital, Caritas and church groups in Bangladesh are providing medical and other services to those in need as the covid-19 epidemic worsens in the country.

The epidemic in Bangladesh is also worsening due to the spread of the New Coronavirus variant, with 9,369 new cases of infection in the country on 31 July. Against this difficult backdrop, and despite limited resources, the Church continues to care for the covid-19 patients and to provide assistance to those affected by the epidemic.

(AFP, Dhaka, 21 July) – Tens of millions of Muslims in Bangladesh flocked to packed mosques and outdoor places of worship today to celebrate the Islamic event of Eid al-Adha, despite the intensification of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) epidemic, while a record number of animals were slaughtered there.

AFP reports that authorities lifted a strict week-long epidemic prevention closure to allow millions of people to return to their hometowns to celebrate Eid al-Adha, the second major Islamic holiday, as Muslims make up the majority of Bangladesh’s population.

The streets of Dhaka were filled with festive cheer today as people changed into traditional costumes, hugged each other and watched butchers slaughter sheep and cattle in a three-day celebration of Eid al-Adha.】

Lord, forgive the pagan believers of Bangladesh who have sinned against you by gathering in large crowds to worship idols at a time when the epidemic is worsening, for they need your mercy, Lord, to watch over them and to save their souls.

In the name of Jesus Christ:

• God is in control during the epidemic spread in BANGLADESH. The power of the Lord will surely save the people on the verge of suicide. God will give them the will to survive, bravely face the challenges during the epidemic, and live strong.
• Jehovah Shammah –
  • The virus cannot survive in God’s presence.
  • The fire of the Holy Spirit fell from the sky and consume the power of darkness behind this virus completely.
  • The Lord will eliminate the virus and stop its spreading completely.
  • The glory of God will protect the high-risk groups in BANGLADESH, including medical staff and researchers, from infection.
• Jehovah Rapha, the healing power of God will come to the covid-19 confirmed cases in BANGLADESH,
• Jehovah Jireh , God will Supply BANGLADESH with the correct cure for the virus.
• The power of God will surely expose corrupted bureaucrats and bring them to justice. He will break the power that use covid-19 virus to bring about unreasonable control and restriction and manipulation.
• God will give wisdom to the righteous government of BANGLADESH to lead the country to solve the epidemic problem. And strictly control border entry and exit conditions.

• Bless Bangladesh: In the name of Jesus we bless this country into the destiny of God! Rise up and be courageous and stand, no longer weak, no longer poor; the church will shine with the abundance of the Lord, bring great influence, let ten people pull one to come to now the Lord Jesus.
• Pray for non-Christians in Bangladesh: Pray for the Lord’s mercy and salvation to come to the Muslims and Buddhists in Bangladesh, forgive them for worshipping idolatry out of ignorance, persecuting the children of God, reveal Yourself to them so that they can know the most high true God. To receive a abundant salvation and grace. Oh God! We declare that You will continue to pour the grace and mercy over the people of Bangladesh. When they become Christians at this moment, may their heart only beat for You.
• Pray for Bangladeshi Christians: May the Holy Spirit pour on the Bangladeshi Christians, and make their heart become passionate for You, bless the brothers and sisters of Bangladesh  become deeply rooted in the truth and the love of God in the midst of persecution, not be shaken and clearly understand the leading of the Holy Spirit. Co-labor with God and be the fisher of men.
• Pray for the Church of Bangladesh: Raise up the Church of Bangladesh, give them fire of prayer, and together to build a prayer altar of unity, for God to lead them to fight for Bangladesh, demolish the stronghold of the enemy that hinder the Bangladeshi people from knowing God, so that the gospel can be spread throughout Various ethnic groups in Bangladesh, and transform the entire nation of Bangladesh!
• Pray for the government of Bangladesh: God, save the souls of Bangladeshi government officials, so they will receive salvation, give them wisdom to govern Bangladesh, and turn Bangladesh from a goat country to a sheep country.
• Pray for Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid: Dear heavenly Father, You are a God who does not display favoritism, may Your love come upon Bangladesh president Abdul Hamid. May Your Holy Spirit work in him, expand his heart and perception that he may align with your purposes and ways, to govern  Bangladeshi with justice and righteousness. That he may be kind to the Buddhists and Christians in his nation who are of different faith to him. Lord, you have granted supernatural revelations to many Muslims previously, you have called them to be reconciled with You through dreams and visions, to be close to You. Therefore we bless  Bangladesh president Abdul Hamid that he can recognize Your omniscience and omnipotence, and receive the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, that he may walk with the Lord in the light and enjoy the abundant life promised by the Lord.
