Forgive us for replacing the covenantal promises You have for Israel with the church. Oh, remove our hearts of stone filled with the poison of anti-Semitism. Help us love Jerusalem as You love her. Let us be her refuge and shield as she experiences persecution and tribulation now and during the end time. Oh, Father, let Your heart be comforted as we love and comfort Your people with the comfort from above.
- Raise Up Righteous Voices: Abba Father, hear our cry and remember Your eternal covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Sons and Daughters of God Release a Righteous Voice : Heavenly Father, those who acquit the guilty and condemn the innocent— are detested by Your ( Proverbs 17:15 ). Please forgive us who are called by Your name for failing to make a righteous voice in time, to comfort and support those who have been wronged and treated unfairly, that society falls into the control of the mainstream media and allowed the social media to judge right and wrong. Father God! Pray for the Great Harvest of Souls: Father God, we thank and praise You for the great harvest of Iranian souls. Please continue to save the souls of the Muslims. Use the Internet, satellites, underground churches and mission agencies to open the doors of the gospel. Open their eyes, open their ears, soften their hearts, and enable the seeds of the gospel to grow with a hundredfold harvest and lead more Muslims to receive salvation abundantly.
Pray for Christians and Churches: Father God, please provide the resources supernaturally to the churches, so all brothers and sisters in the Lord, especially new believers, can take root in the truth and grow spiritually. Please protect Iranian Christians and strengthen their faith. Give them great joy in adversity, and hope for those who are imprisoned and persecuted to stand strong in the Lord to experience God’s faithfulness more deeply, and bear a beautiful testimony for God. Genesis 1:27-28 So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Matthew 5:13-16 “You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven.”

Abba Father, You gave human beings a mandate to subdue all the earth. Thus we have the responsibility to be good stewards over all the earth, including managing and governing in human society. Father, we repent that we, the church, have forsaken this authority to be kings and priests. Because of our ignorance, indifference and disregard, rulership has fallen into the hands of unjust politicians. One after another, bills and acts abhorred by You are passed and executed, causing the bankrupting of social morality. Lord, please forgive us for not caring about the issues of our countries and feeling indifferent regarding the suffering and sins in our society. Please forgive us for avoiding our responsibility, neglecting to stand in the gap to intercede for our nations and raise up voices of justice for Christ. Lord, please forgive us for not knowing Your heart and Your redemptive will toward this broken world. Please forgive us for not taking our responsibility as citizens to lead the world to walk in the God’s ways by resisting the demonic forces, and neglecting to prevent our society from corruption.

In the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we renounce all lies from the enemy. We break off the church’s prejudices and passive attitude toward political issues. We declare that we will wake up, obey God and not obey man, having a heart of power, of love and of soundness of mind. We will continually pay the price of intercession and prayer for our nations. And we will boldly stand up to vote in elections, speak out against any ungodly acts and bills in a gentle and peaceful way. We will be the salt and light of this world and live out the lifestyle of the Kingdom of God. We will be a powerful witness, giving testimony of the truth, authority, grace and judgement of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Pray for Israel: Intercede Concerning Anti-Semitism

One violent attack in 2018 was the brutal murder of Mireille Knoll, an 85-year-old French Jewish Holocaust survivor, who was murdered in her Paris apartment by two men, who shouted “Allahu Akbar” [Arabic for “Allah is greater”] as they stabbed her 11 times and set her apartment on fire.

The anti-Semitism practices have led to disastrous consequences in history. Since the Roman Empire, European history was filled with violent acts against the Jews, such as the Crusader looting and massacring Jews. However, the culmination of anti-Semitism was the Holocaust by Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945 when 6 million Jews perished. In addition, regrettably, the leader of the Reformation, Martin Luther, with his strong anti-Semitic rhetoric, has contributed significant anti-Semitic influence in Germany and around the world. Today, many churches still believe in the replacement theology.

Today, God’s chosen people is still suffering on many fronts. Surrounded by Arab countries, many of Israel’s neighbors are threats to her, for example, Palestine, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Iran. As Israel continues to face natural calamities as well as man-made disasters, the church must pray for her, our spiritual elder brother, with love and actions.
