• There is a great harvest in a great shaking : Father, You are the God who turns crisis into opportunity and makes all things work together! We hope that the Holy Spirit will be poured out in the war-torn Ukraine, so that the people in crisis will quickly awaken and enter the refuge of the Lord Jesus quickly. Those who call on the Lord’s name will be saved, and the great shaking will bring about a great harvest.

The Holy Spirit personally leads the meetings and pours out all the children of God in the field, so that they can worship each other with one heart, experience the spiritual breakthrough of “One Voice”, bring down Your will, and enter the prayer of the center of the eye. Build intimacy with You in worship, and also love one another and truly become one. Please do Your own work to make this spiritual movement bloom all over Taiwan and prepare Your army for the last days !

Dear family who share a Kingdom that cannot be shaken!

In today’s great shaking, though darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, we must pay attention to the light of God’s glory that is about to be released through His people (Isaiah 60:1-4)!  In 2022 the Holy Spirit revealed Isaiah 22:22 as the key verse of the year. In 2012, the western Church handed over the key of authority to the Chinese church. Now is the time for the Chinese. God will raise up the authority of the church to overcome the gates of hell (Matthew 16:18)! Open the door to the nations for the Lion of Judah, for the King of glory will come in (Psalm 24:7)!

The Lord leads us to visit the ancient paths and walk in them (Jer. 6:16).  On the first Purim, Esther and Mordecai walked together as two generations, leading the whole family of Israel in one accord, to destroy the power of Haman and save the whole nation of Israel!  This year Purim happens to fall on the same day as fire festival in Iran.  It is the moment when the two kingdoms collide again. In the midst of the great shaking of the world, the Lord instructed us to gather His Chinese bride together on Purim, to demonstrate a Kingdom that is completely different from the world, a Kingdom that cannot be shaken! We have to show that there is an “unshakable family” in this unshakable kingdom!  This Kingdom family is the most powerful weapon of war as well as harvest in the last days, to attract all people to the Lord Jesus (John 12:32, John 13:35)!  In this unshakable family of covenant and love, we will turn defeat into victory, and turn sorrow into joy, like the first Purim!

Although the world is full of bad news, we witness and report the good news in our Father’s House!  Because of the love of this family, the Holy Spirit is awakening the Chinese identity of the Chinese younger generation overseas; because of the intercession of this family, three spiritual mothers experienced significant healing in body, soul and spirit!  Heavenly Father also gave us a special surprise: Messianic father Pastor Asher Intrater and Arabic mother Rania Sayegh will be joining together to bless the Chinese family as we enter the destiny of bringing the Gospel back to Jerusalem!

Turning America Back to God: Prophetic Prayer Strategy for 2022

In the past few months, the Lord has been revealing to us a prophetic prayer strategy for 2022, involving a 40-day Daniel fast from March 7 – April 15. It was back in 1999 that I prayed, “How can I turn America back to God?” At that time, I was reading about Nehemiah’s massive mobilization project. He had gathered all the leaders of Jerusalem and commanded them, “Build next to your own house, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, gather there, and there the Lord will fight for us!” (paraphrased, see Nehemiah 4).

Recently, I was given a dream in which I was summoning generals from across the globe into a Pentagon for a fast. I was declaring to them, “It’s going to work!” Since this dream, I have been calling spiritual generals, leaders in their own spheres, leaders in nations, to consider joining me in calling their people into a 40-day Daniel fast for an unveiling of Christ in the nations of the earth.

A Mountain of the Lord Moment in History

We’ve had a series of dreams emphasizing Isaiah 25:7, “On this mountain, I will remove the veil that covers all nations” (paraphrased).

• In 1996, I did my first 40-day fast. At that time, the Lord spoke to me, calling that 40-day fast the “Mountain of the Lord.” I believe we are coming to a Mountain of the Lord moment in history. For instance, 2022 is the 100-year anniversary of the passing of William Seymour, the father of the Azusa Street Revival. He prophesied that in 100 years, a revival far eclipsing Azusa Street would take place.
• On May 14, 1983, Bob Jones prophesied in Kansas City that a spiritual drought would cover America, but in God’s appointed time that drought would lift. Unaware of any timing, The Send was scheduled to gather in Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium this year on May 14. We’re entering the 40th year since Bob Jones’ prophecy, and the very anniversary of the founding of the modern State of Israel.
• This year, on January 22, it was the 49th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the court case that legalized abortion. We believe we’re in a year of Jubilee, and it’s time for the unborn and for this generation to be set free. But it’s not enough just to say, “Well, this is a cool year.” I believe it is an invitation for a massive breakthrough.

Over the past couple of years, God has given us an understanding and dreams that The Great Communion Revival is ready to break out, and the Blood of Jesus is going to cover the nations of the earth. We believe there is a breakthrough desire in the Church worldwide, and this 40-day fast could remove the veil that covers the nations and release evangelists and missionaries in a massive thrust throughout 2022. Therefore, we are calling this 40-day Daniel fast, daring to believe “it’s going to work!”

40-Day Daniel Fast: An Invitation to Pray

Let us pray together and plead the Blood of Jesus for 40 days, ending on April 15, which is Passover and Good Friday.

We’re calling Believers all over this nation and all over this world to take communion daily and to declare: “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!“

What if millions worldwide would speak this over the Jewish nation right up to Passover? “Behold the Lamb of God!” What if all of America and its churches would be praying and commanding: “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!“? What if we entered into faith that on Passover a veil would be ripped, and suddenly in Jerusalem, and around the world, people are having dreams of Yeshua and dreams of Jesus?

We are believing, because of what we’ve seen, that a veil is going to be removed during these 40 days… and then we’ll converge! We’re calling thousands of evangelists, thousands of singers and musicians, thousands of intercessors from across the globe to rally to Arrowhead Stadium in May. After 22 years of day and night prayer at IHOP-KC, led by Mike Bickle, we believe the days have come in which the overflow of the bowls is taking place and great salvation is going to break out.

So, would you join us for this 40-day season of fasting?

The Daniel fast is not hard. We can do this together, taking communion each day, and commanding the nations of the earth: “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!” And, as we look toward The Send, we’ve never been into ‘good events.’ We want to see a breakthrough in the heavens, to shatter the darkness, and loose the greatest revival that maybe America and the nations have ever seen.

“Prophetic Manifesto” and “Seasons of War”

At the time of Rosh Hashanah 2019, we can say all the prophets on earth know that we have entered a completely different era. In fact, we are saying that we are not entering a new year, nor a new decade, but a new era.

If we look at the era before that, when Israel was re-established, from 1948 to 2020 , about 70 years, it was really a very glorious and gracious period, God was doing one thing after another. There are many rich and progressive movements in the country. But from 2019, the prophets began to feel that change was coming and something different was going to happen. I think a lot of people feel that this is going to be a very stressful season. And you and a group of prophets are prophesying that there will be a transitional period of transformation.

A passage that I wrote in the book “Prophetic Declarations,” which I think is what the prophets heard from the Lord about this period, is very important. Because it keeps people well-positioned in the Lord, even though it may be a difficult challenge going through.

A passage I wrote in chapter 17 of this book is, “We are heading for an age of war, rumors of war, natural disasters and plagues.” Of course, everyone knows that in 2020, a global epidemic broke out, natural disasters also appeared, and there was also a real war, not only the rumors of war.

In addition to this, I wrote, “In this age, there will be increased wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, natural disasters, plagues, and infectious diseases. But the Lord says, do not fear, but pray and draw near to me. In Me you will find your refuge, peace, strength, health and provision. For those who know Me, there is no need for fear or anxiety, for My hand will guide you . ” The text goes on to say, “In this age brave and fearless warriors will arise, shining like light in the deep and treacherous darkness” and “God is the refuge of his people.”

Many will tremble in fear, and we must be strong people of God.

I think when we are in a season of great peace, grace, glory, there is a freedom to enjoy, but a lack of vigilance. You might just follow the trend and get caught up in it. Yet in the season of war, or in the atmosphere of war, or the possibility of war in your spirit, you will be more alert and focused, and will live your life with wisdom and not fear.

I think right now we really need a wake-up call. Because not only do we see a lot of spiritual resistance, which is spiritual warfare, but we also see a real outbreak of war in nature that can easily degenerate into a third world war. Now countries are choosing sides and resisting each other, and the situation may turn into a very bad one. Therefore, we must draw near to the Lord like never before.

How to Prepare In the Season of War?

On a spiritual level, I do think that prophets are called to proclaim the plumb line of righteousness.

(Isaiah 28:17,  I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place..)

One of the reasons the church lacks the authority and power to function is that we treat our enemies as friendly as our friends. This gives the enemy a foothold to hold power and rule. When we turn our attention to natural warfare, you know that you will not shake hands with the enemy, you will make it clear who you are and who your enemy is. I feel that one of the greatest tasks the prophets are now entrusted with is to call the church, the people of God, into the way of God, the word of God, and into obedience to God. If there is any place to shake hands with the enemy, it must be renounced now. Because shaking hands with the enemy is very dangerous at the moment, and doing so will incapacitate the church.

I do believe that if the church is now personally aligned with God in mind and action, and come to the Lord collectively to cry out, it may delay certain inevitable things, such as those prophesied in the Bible, from happening.

I feel that there will be many winds of war, and waves of war levels, and we must stand and pray. I feel that one of the tasks the prophets are entrusted with is to sound the alarm bells. Not just foretelling what will happen, but actually sounding the alarm, telling the church, “You have to align with God right now.”

If there is any place in your life where you shake hands with the enemy, this is the time to renounce, this is the time to come to the Lord together.

Lifestyle in the Season of War

When we study warfare in nature, and look at war periods in history, such as during World War I and World War II, a rearrangement emerges, even in families. For example, men have to go to war, while women that stay at home have to go out to work. At the same time, people would be more alert, and more people would come to pray for the safety of their families and the country. When you look at where we are now in this season of war, it’s never the same again. For example, the life of the Ukrainian people is no longer the same as it was before the war.

They must decide how they want to face the post-Russian invasion, whether to stay or flee.

【 Mike’s comment:   Even the countries around Ukraine are affected by this war. When Ukrainian refugees flee to neighboring countries, they also have to think, “How can we help this large group of refugees?”. We also know that many of them are believers, brothers and sisters in our Lord. So the question is, when there is war, how do you go beyond the American frame of vision and start seeing the global body of Christ, and how can you help advance the kingdom of God during this time? 】

【 Cindy’s comment : Chuck Pierce and James Nesbit made a drawing a few years ago of a lion and a dragon roaring against each other. What this picture depicts is happening now. We have been prophesying about World War III for quite some time. This morning (March 10) as I was praying, the Lord told me, “I hear people cry out in the nations. The catastrophe of the war of liberation. Release the dogs of war. Release the dogs of war.” I didn’t understand where that was coming from. I went to search and found that it is a sentence in Shakespeare’s play, which appears in the scene after Caesar is killed. The catastrophe of the war of liberation means the removal of the shackles or shackles of war (note: war dogs are a way of describing the devastation and chaos caused by war).

When I figured it out, I started to cry. Feeling compelled to share with the intercessor right away. The evil spirits of war, the ruling powers of war in the spiritual world, are now being released. Many evil spirits of wars that exist in various countries have been released. We must understand that what we see in nature is a reflection of what is happening in heaven. We must take relevant and appropriate prayers because there is a small window open that can turn the situation around, just a small window. Have you heard anything similar to this? 】

I receive the same thing as you. I feel the Lord saying that if we focus on calling and aligning with Him now, then we can delay it from happening. But we must act fast.

There have been many warnings in 2020. There have been some exposures from 2019 until 2020. God is calling His people to align, yet we don’t seem to understand how serious the situation is. Even now. Even if we see wars on the ground, right in the countries of Europe. But it’s still not happening on American soil, so we may not be taking it with the seriousness it deserves. North America, especially the United States, is actually very vulnerable right now. Extremely vulnerable to injury. Therefore, we had to stand while there was still a small window open.

I remember getting a warning about America a few years ago. I see a map of the US like a custard, very weak and unstable. The Lord said that the current situation in the United States is very vulnerable. The church must grow strong and pray earnestly. Because the United States is not in a good position, it may be attacked by foreign countries. It seemed like a long way off at the time. However, as nations begin to form alliances, the likelihood of the United States being attacked by a foreign country is now higher.

Psalm 24 mentions that Jesus is the mighty King, He is the King of glory, our Lord is mighty and mighty in battle.

(Psalm 24:8, Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty,    the Lord mighty in battle.… Psalm 24:10 Who is he, this King of glory?  The Lord Almighty—  he is the King of glory. !)

One of the ways we fight spiritually is to use our declarations. Proclaim the word of God and release the word of God. We must do it together.

[Cindy commented : I will pray for the erection of a shield on this matter. As God’s people we must go to the battlefield, to heaven to fight, to fight with prayer. I know that many, many nations are praying, and I don’t underestimate this. But we can’t pray the way we used to, we have to switch to a fighting state. I mean we can’t just say, “Oh, Jesus, I love you so much,” in prayer meetings. Something like that. Now is not the time to be immersed in prayer in God, the bride must now come out of her house, put on her boots, and go into battle. I remember back in the 80s, I mentioned the Bride in Boots, and I started prophesying. I also remember that in Israel a few years ago, I prophesied that it was time for the bride to put on her boots again. Then I thought to myself, this is not war time, why do I say that? But it was a metaphorical statement that I was able to get at the time. How does Patricia feel about this? 】

I think of the bride as a warrior, just as the groom is a warrior. I love that the passage in Revelation mentions that Jesus came from heaven with an army of heaven. Our Jesus is a warrior. As His Bride, as we work with Him this season, we will understand the power of a warrior, the qualities of a warrior. That doesn’t mean we just pick up guns and shoot aimlessly, not knowing what we’re doing. We must have a heavenly mind, a kingdom mind, and we must have a vision for the kingdom of heaven to come to earth and bring the earth into his glory.

I find a lot of comfort in the verses here in Isaiah 60 . “darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you..”

Therefore, when we come to the Lord, we hide ourselves in Him and allow ourselves to shine as bright as He. I think one of the best tactics is to use bright light. If you want to fight the darkness, then use the light and become the light. To enter the world is to use light, life, and glory. When we work together with God, we can proclaim the word of the Lord. Of course, at this moment we must be more sober and calm. When war does strike, people wake up and focus.

We call the church in the name of Jesus to watch, but not to fear; even to look forward to seeing the great things God is about to do in this very critical time.

【 Mike’s comment:    This remark reminds me of the events that led us to found the ministry of Generals International. You were praying to the Lord at the time, “Satan is not omniscient or omnipresent like our God, but why can he do so much against our nation”. The Lord answered you at the time, “That’s because it has strategies that my people don’t have, but if I can get all my Generals Intercession together, then I’ll give you strategies.”

I don’t think in history that we need to hear the Lord’s strategy more than we do now. Because we are the voice of the Lord on earth, to speak out God’s strategy to change things in heaven so that things on earth can also be changed.

As I prayed, I felt that the evil spirit of war had been released on a global scale. I mean ancient animosities, ancient frontiers that one thinks one should have. The Cuban missile crisis at the time was because Russia thought NATO was too close to them. So they use the weaponization of Cuba, a possible nuclear threat, because Cuba is only 90 miles from the coast of the United States. The people of Latin America were scared at that time. 】

Keep Your Eyes on the Lord And Don’t be Afraid

Let me share with you a warning about fear. Because fear is a demonic belief. We have to be very careful in bringing it to the Lord. Zephaniah 3:17 mentions, “The Lord your God is with you,  the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you;  in his love he will no longer rebuke you,  but will rejoice over you with singing“.

We have these promises from the Lord showing who He really is in times of really difficult crisis. Throughout the Bible we keep seeing that God doesn’t always remove difficult things. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace. God didn’t keep them from going into the fiery furnace, but God was with them in the fiery furnace and protected them, so they had nothing to fear. Because they don’t need to be afraid. They believe that God is among them, even in dire situations. The same thing happened to Daniel, who was thrown into the den of lions. God didn’t keep Daniel from being thrown into the lion’s den, but He was with Daniel in the lion’s den, and Daniel was not afraid throughout the process, because his eyes were fixed on the Lord.

Throughout Israel’s history, they have been able to defeat a nation more powerful than them, because God was in their midst. I think if we keep our eyes on the Lord, we know that He is in our midst. And if He is for us, who can be against us? In our hearts, we are living in eternity, we refuse to fear, we fix our eyes on the Lord, confident in our hearts that He will lead us through it all. No matter what situation we face, we know that God will be in our midst.

Understand that we cannot say that difficult situations will not come upon us. Difficult situations will come, but God will be in them. So don’t be afraid. In Him He gives grace; in Him He gives love; in Him we have everything we need. He will keep us strong and powerful.

The testimony in the Bible, and in our lives, is the greatest testimony of God’s presence in truly difficult circumstances. For example, in the case of the burning furnace, if the three people were not thrown into the furnace, we cannot even understand how great God is in it. Or Daniel hadn’t been thrown into the lion’s den, and we wouldn’t have known how great God is. Or Joseph wasn’t trafficked by his relatives, imprisoned, before Pharaoh, then we wouldn’t see the greatness of God saving his country and Egypt from famine.

Focus on the Lord. Don’t be afraid. The Lord said, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid, don’t be afraid. Even when Jesus prophesied that there would be wars and rumors of wars, He told us not to fear. Because He is with us. He is God and He is on our side. He can do anything and everything. But we must turn our focus to Him.

【Cindy commented:   … The Bible says, “In the world you will have afflictions; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Dear Saints,

In Jeremiah 1, the Lord declared to the prophet Jeremiah that He was watching His word to be fulfilled (Jeremiah 1:12). We are entering a vital season in the leadership dynamics of the global Body of Christ, as the Lord looks to raise up leaders that will genuinely fulfill His word and lead His Body into the fullness of the maturity to which He has called her (Ephesians 4:11-13). The prophet Samuel is a key prophetic representation of all this, as a transitional leader who restored the word of the Lord to Israel at a time when it was rare, and as someone in whose life the Lord’s word always came to pass (1 Samuel 3:1, 19).

Today, I want to share some keys with you that will enable you to understand the dynamics of this coming season and position yourself for the life-changing anointing that He is about to pour out. Our key Scripture reading is 1 Samuel 2-3.

The Changing of the Guard: Raising Up a Faithful Priesthood

In chapter two, the young Samuel is serving in the house of God in Shiloh, under Eli the priest. At the time, the administration of the priesthood under Eli’s leadership had already fallen into a deep decadence and disrepute.

Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were known as scoundrels with no regard for the Lord, and for treating the Lord’s offering with contempt (1 Samuel 2:13-17). They also slept with the women serving in the tabernacle and refused to change, despite Eli’s rebukes (verses 22-25). From Aaron’s time until this point in the Bible, the priesthood was always supposed to pass from father to son, but the Lord was determined that Hophni and Phinehas would not inherit the priesthood because of the extent of their sin and disrespect. A prophetic word came against Eli and his family, decreeing that their priesthood would be cut off, and that a faithful priesthood would be raised up in their place (verses 27-36).

Meanwhile, the young Samuel was serving God faithfully and diligently, and growing in favor with God. When he reached a certain age, the Lord called him one night while he was lying down. Samuel ran to Eli thinking that it was him calling, but Eli told him it was not so. The Lord called again, and Samuel ran to Eli again. This time, however, when Eli spoke to Samuel to tell him that he had not called him, he first addressed him as “my son” (1 Samuel 3:6) before telling him to lie down again. When the Lord called Samuel for the third time, Eli finally discerned that it was the Lord calling Samuel, and instructed him on what to do.

Samuel heard and responded to the voice of God; he began his journey as a prophet who restored godly leadership to Israel and order to the house of God in Shiloh.

The relationship between Eli and Samuel, and Eli’s recognition of Samuel as a son here, is a key to all of this. Although Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were disqualified from inheriting the priesthood, Eli had found another son in Samuel, one who was fit for the priesthood and whom God was pleased to call and anoint. The priesthood could therefore pass from Eli to Samuel. Through service and relationship, Samuel became the landing strip for the will of God when the old way of doing things had failed.

There are places in the Body of Christ today where the old way of doing things has failed. There are environments in which the fear and reverence of God have given way to a culture of self-service; places where the resources of the Body have fallen into the hands of entitled people who have embedded themselves into the structure of the Church, yet feel they have a right to do whatever they please without repercussions or consequences. The prophetic declaration of this hour is that this is all coming to an end, as the Lord is watching over His Church to see His word fulfilled!

The clarion cry from Heaven, therefore, is for today’s leaders to raise up those that are true sons and daughters, who can inherit the purposes of God and become the landing strips for His will.

If you are a leader, this means implementing true discipleship and not just gathering crowds. A mere crowd cannot inherit the purposes of God, but a true son or daughter can. It is through them that the Lord will bring about refreshment and restoration to His house and Body, and a preservation for future generations of the good that has come before. Like Eli, as you identify the true sons and daughters, you will be able discern what the Lord is doing in their lives and lead them well.

Authentic Alignment to Heaven

Through what took place, the priesthood transitioned from Eli’s house and leadership to Samuel’s. The purpose for the transition was simply to restore authenticity to the office. Eli’s house was no longer an authentic witness to the voice and purposes of Heaven on Earth, and so the nation lacked spiritual leadership and authority – so much so that the Ark of the Covenant was captured and taken away by the Philistines in battle (1 Samuel 4:11).

This severe and dramatic loss on the battlefield was the manifestation of something that had begun a long time earlier in Eli’s family’s running of the house of God. Losing the Ark of the Covenant was a public sign regarding the spiritual condition of the nation, but the original damage had already been done behind the scenes, as Eli’s sons treated the sacrificial offerings with contempt and defiled themselves and the servants of the temple.

Samuel, growing up in the temple with a pure heart and eyes, would have seen all of this, and we can tell from Scripture that it made a powerful impression on him. Eli’s failures were his lessons. He knew that the welfare of the nation, and its spiritual strength and authority, came from the acts of obedience by its leaders and through honoring the things of God. Similarly, he knew that failing to obey the commands of the Lord, and failing to observe the proper protocols around the priestly offerings to God, were roads to destruction.

Therefore, in Samuel 13, when Saul had rashly made a burnt offering to God with his own hands, Samuel immediately rebuked him saying, “You have done a foolish thing” (see verse 13), and counseled him that his kingdom would not last. Samuel had already seen what happened to Eli and his family when they misappropriated the sacrifices of God, and saw that the same thing would now happen to Saul and his family.

Samuel also knew that spiritual authority comes with serving God, and not with self-service or self-interest. He had seen for himself how allowing the things of God to become subject to the manipulations of entitled people had led to the downfall of the nation. When it was time to anoint David, therefore, Samuel acted decisively despite the politics of the surrounding environment (1 Samuel 16). When God led him to David, who would be a man after His own heart (1 Samuel 13:14), Samuel anointed him knowing that this was what Israel needed for its future – a person concerned first with God’s thoughts and feelings.

It was precisely this ability to hear and respond to God’s thoughts and feelings that had been missing in Eli’s house. Samuel’s ministry, in contrast, had begun with him saying, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening” (see 1 Samuel 3:9). When a leader can hear God’s voice and respond to it with a servant heart, they are able to identify what has been ignored, overlooked, or tolerated and address it, so that what remains in place is an authentic witness of Heaven’s purposes.

In this season, God’s call is for all of His people to return their focus on being authentic witnesses for Heaven. Just as God raised up Samuel as a true voice to Israel, so will we see, in the days ahead, the appearance of the authentic that many have longed for. Along with this will come tremendous breakthroughs. We are coming into a new season of the prophetic permissions of the Lord. Real, authentic, shifting words are about to land. Your part is to become His landing strip. So, prepare your hearts, open your ears, and devote yourself afresh to serving Him and Him alone, because it’s all about to happen!

Building Together Toward Real Maturity

There will be those who feel like or even recognize that their ministries were, at some point, overtaken by some of the same issues and mistakes that caused Eli’s house to fail. Yet, they will see what is taking place in the new season as sons and daughters are being raised up and the house of God is restored, and will want to align afresh with what God is doing.

Despite the failures and inadequacies of the past, and because of the Blood of Jesus and His redemptive plan, there is always hope. As Job says in Job 14:7-9, “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant.” (Photo via Pxhere)

The fresh flow of the Spirit of God will be like the scent of water to these ones, and they will seek to align with the new guard. Yet wisdom is needed on both sides for this to work.

When Joshua rose to power, and it was clear that their old system had failed and gone, the Gibeonites decided to do what they could to align with Joshua, and approached him to make a treaty (Joshua 9:3-6). However, in order to persuade Joshua to make the treaty with them, they pretended to have traveled from a distant land, and disguised themselves with worn-out sacks and wineskins, old patched clothes and shoes, and rations of dry and moldy bread. They put themselves across as having come much farther than they really did.

The temptation for those who were, long ago, right in the midst of what God was doing, but are now wanting to align with those leading in the new season, will be to pretend that they are more matured and seasoned than they really are in order to get themselves a better bargaining position in the alignment.

Joshua’s people tried the stale bread for themselves to test it, but they did not inquire of the Lord about the Gibeonites and so were deceived by them, and granted them the treaty (Joshua 9:14-15). However, when Joshua found out what the Gibeonites had done, he appointed them permanently to duties as woodcutters and water carriers in service to Israel.

For those that God has raised up to lead in the new season, there must be a new level of wisdom and discernment as to what alignments to make with whom and how, and to be aware that there are those that might not be fully transparent about their journeys because of what they hope to get from aligning.

Be sensitive and don’t take everything you hear at face value, or rush ahead and make agreements without inquiring of the Lord. Although you may be told stories of times past to convince you, remember that it is fresh, daily bread that the Lord gives us for our journey and not yesteryears’ bread. Look for the present fruits in the lives of those that you align with.

For those who see the hope of life being restored to their ministries by aligning with the new, put away the old wineskins and patched garments. Jesus counseled that old wineskins cannot be filled with new wine without being ruined, and that patches from old garments do not match the new (Luke 5:36-38). This means having a willingness to think in new ways and adapt to what God is doing now, rather than carrying an intention to take things back to an old way of operating that God has moved away from. If you want to make it work, come in with the intention to build, to serve and to enhance what is happening now, rather than to contend for a memory.

If things are done right, and the relationships are built well, the golden oil will settle and there will be a blending of strengths. There is a place for everyone, but true discipleship, the authentic voice of Heaven, and a willingness to build together, must be the defining characteristics of the pattern.

Great things are about to happen, and a fresh anointing is about to be poured out! Prepare your heart and take your position!

Pray for United States: SUPPORT THE PEOPLE’S CONVOY

【Background of Current Events:  Thousands of participants of the “People’s Convoy” gathered from California on February 23 and stopped in Hagerstown, Maryland, 60 miles outside Washington, D.C.
