Cleansing Prayers

Dear Heavenly Father, I ________ (put your name in it) come to the throne of grace, through the blood of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, to receive Your abundant grace and mercy.   Lord Jesus, ________ confess You are the Lord of my life.   I ask the resurrected power of the Holy Spirit to fill and saturate every part of my being.   I surrender all my spirit, soul and body completely to You.  Now I ask You to reveal to me, remind me of any sin that I have committed known or unknown, so that I can confess and repent of them accordingly. (Recommendation:  quiet yourself, so you can allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you)

Cleanse me from all the defilement of the world, sanctify me and my family line of any unrighteousness with the blood of Jesus.   Now by my own will, I choose to forgive everyone that has offended me or hurt me, I release them into the freedom of my forgiveness.   I also release them from the debts they might owe me. I now cast all my burden to You .  Your yoke is easy, Your burden is light.   I now put on the armor of God that You have given me, gird myself with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith, the sword of the Spirit, my feet fitted with the gospel of peace, so that I can pray and intercede in the Holy Spirit by Your mighty power, and after done all to stand firm.

• Pray for long-term solutions for the refugee crisis.
• Pray for an end to the wars, and for safe conditions to prevail so that people can return to their homes. In many cases, their dwellings will have been destroyed or ransacked.

• Sweden and the People Return to God : Heavenly Father, Sweden is a country created and blessed abundantly by You. She had once followed You passionately, and sent many missionaries to countries all over the world. But today many Swedish people are caught in anxiety, depression and burnout, and turn to alcohol, drugs, sexual promiscuity to seek the meaning of life but fail to find it.  Please be merciful to them, open their eyes and their hearts, and help them to turn to You and find You! May Your name be exalted in Sweden, so Sweden will once again become a missionary sending nation!
• Identification Repentance for the church of Sweden : Heavenly Father, please forgive the Swedish church and Christians for becoming comfortable, secularized and compromising with the world. Forgive them for fearing man more than fear God.  Please forgive the  church for being  lukewarm like Laodicean,   the believers not even talking about their faith but accepting  same-sex marriages, and performing weddings ceremony for same-sex marriage in the church. Heavenly Father, the Swedish church had done things that is abomination in Your eyes. ( Leviticus 18:22 ) Please give the church the grace to confess the sins and repent, be merciful to them and save them from the power of evil and curses. Cleanse the church with the truth and the precious blood of Jesus and restore the holiness of the church!
• Rise up the Swedish Church-the Bride of Christ : Heavenly Father, help the  church to stand up boldly with the fresh and new boldness and courage, to preach the gospel of truth. Please send a holy hunger and thirst, to light up the fire of love in Your children, so they will be rooted and grounded in love and truth. Draw the young generations, to come to the throne of grace, and receive salvation and hope. ( Matthew 11:28)  Rise up the church of bride, to connect with each other, to cry out to You day and night with one heart and one mind, send the fire of revival, to turn Sweden around, to prepare the way for the glorious King in Europe!
• Rise up righteousness government that fear God : Heavenly Father, please continue to rise up just and righteous government that fear God, and love the people, to lead Sweden on the path You prepared for them, to enter into Your plan and destiny and be a blessing to Israel and other nations.

• Salvation comes to the Qiang : From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands ( Acts 17:26 ). Loving merciful Father God, the Qiang people of China, was chosen and loved by You. Thank You for giving Your only begotten son Jesus, to be the sacrificial lamb to redeem the Qiang people, so they can truly become the “son of the Lamb”, to return to the Father’s house and enjoying the richness and abundance in Christ Jesus.
• Forgive and Heal the Qiang people : Father God, in II Chronicles 7:14 You said if my people that is called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven. Forgive their sins and heal their land. Please forgive the Qiang people for being influenced by other cultures, to worship false gods, sinned against You and forsake You.  Please be merciful to the  Qiang people, and give them the grace of repentance, reveal to them that You are the one and only true God that was worshiped by their forefathers, so they can turn back to You. Latest: On Sunday night, A Katyusha rocket fell at less than a mile from US Embassy in Bagdad, causing no injuries. Iraq military spokesman Brig. General Yahya Rasoul told AP that the rocket was believed fired from east Bagdad. The area is home to Iran-backed ‘Shiite Militias’.

On Monday, President Trump’s immediate response to the attack: ‘If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran. Never threaten the US again.’ However, he did not elaborate, nor did the White House. (Isa 2:4)

Pray for Israel: Bless Netanyahu to Form the Coalition Government Successfully

【Current Event: Netanyahu’s Likud political party claimed victory in the April 9 elections, but he has yet to officially form a majority coalition. The first deadline expired on May 14, and over the weekend, the prime minister formally asked the president Reuven Rivlin for an extension, which was granted, giving him until May 28 to officially form a government. Though unlikely, if Netanyahu is still unable to form a coalition after the extension has passed, Rivlin will ask Gantz (of the Blue and White party) to form a coalition instead. If Ganz can not form a coalition either, Israel will face a new election.

Netanyahu is expected to form a coalition—totaling 65 seats—within the allotted time. 36 of these seats come from his own party, Likud. The rest are derived from smaller parties: Ultra-Orthodox party Shas (8 seats), United Torah (8 seats), Union of Right-Wing (5 seats), secular party Yisrael Beytenu (5 seats), and finally, centrist party Kulanu (4 seats).

These parties have already pledged their support to Netanyahu. All that remains is for him to negotiate who will fill the cabinet positions. This is a complicated task, as Netanyahu must balance the demands of the religious ultra-Orthodox against that of the secular Yisrael Beytanu party—all of which hold vastly opposing views on certain issues. In order to help the process, the Knesset is expected to pass a law allowing for more cabinet positions to be appointed, a number currently capped at 19.

Pray for Iran – Enter the Destiny

【Current affairs :The Iranian government authorities are facing serious challenges. They are dealing with the aftermath of the floods. The warships with US military “economic sanctions” are stationed in the Persian Gulf, and the tension of gunpowder is rising rapidly. The Trump administration basically demands Iran to change its behavior; otherwise, the United States will overthrow the Iranian regime.

Economic sanctions

Due to Iran’s non-implementation of the Iranian nuclear agreement, it was subjected to US military and economic sanctions. Since May, the United States has deployed a large number of military forces around Iran and withdrew the “non-emergency personnel” of the US Embassy in Iraq. Warning that the civil aviation Persian Gulf is at risk of being shoot.

The Saudi King convened an emergency meeting of the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Committee for the Arab States of the Gulf) On the 19th, and the Arab League, called on the international community to “take responsibility to prevent such acts by Iran” and accused Iran of “trying to undermine regional stability.”

“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse;and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12: 3)

On March 18th, Iranian Prime Minister Rohani called on the people of the country to curse Israel. The very next day, there was a flood assaulted Iran from the north, sweeping across Iran as never before: 26 out of the 31 provinces were affected and 400,000 people were victimized. More than 70 death, 2,000 cities and villages were damaged, 78 roads were blocked, 84 bridges were classified as dangerous, water and agricultural infrastructure were damaged, lost of millions of dollars.

【Background:  While it is true that ISIS appears on the surface not to be such a big threat anymore, war, violence and persecution in the Middle East and North Africa is still ongoing. There are many different political and jihadist groups that will keep the war going for a long time. People are constantly displaced because of the ongoing violence (political and religious) between warring factions, as well as because of disunity, greed and centuries-old wounds that ‘demand revenge’. This is happening in Eritrea, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and several other nations. Some displaced persons move around in their own nation, but many do leave, often under dire circumstances. Some refugees are contained in prison-like camps; others live in extreme poverty, their dreams of finding a better life shattered. Many refugees are sexually- and financially abused and are made to feel very unwelcome in the places they try to find shelter (inside or outside their country). Let us not see displaced persons as inferior to us or view them as an unwelcome burden. They are simply people who are victims or war, and who desperately need help from their fellow human beings. 】

【Background: On Saturday, 25 August, Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh held demonstrations and prayer gatherings to . An estimated 700,000 Rohingya fled the conflict, and many testified of killings, rapes and arson carried out by security forces, in what the UN says seems to be a “textbook example of ethnic cleansing”. Nobel laureate Aung San Suu Kyi’s government has denied allegations of atrocities made by the refugees, saying that security forces lawfully suppressed Muslim militants in Rakhine. However, a report presented on Monday, 27 August 2018 by a fact-finding team, under the auspices of the UN-backed Human Rights Council, has found that top Myanmar military leaders should be prosecuted for genocide against Rohingya Muslims. International pressure on Myanmar has been growing. In a statement ahead of the anniversary, 132 sitting parliamentarians from five other countries in Southeast Asia issued a statement calling for Myanmar officials to face trial at the International Criminal Court (ICC). Despite the trauma faced by the Rohingya refugees, some express a desire to return to Myanmar, but only if there is change. One refugee said: “We want to go back to Myanmar, but only with citizenship and our rights. We will never accept repatriation without the rights the Myanmar government snatched from us a long time ago”. 】

In 1 Chronicles, David said, “Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually! What is Ramadan？

Ramadan is the ninth month in the Islamic calendar during which Muslims fast and pray to get closer to Allah. Muslims believe that the first revelations of the Quran were made to Muhammad during Ramadan. This year, Ramadan is from 5/6 to 6/5.

What does “Islam” mean?

“Islam” means “obedience” and “peace” in Arabic, and followers of Islam are collectively referred to as “Muslim”, meaning “one who surrenders”. The believers must obey the will of Allah and practice the Five Pillars of Islam: trust and understand the Muslim profession of faith, pray five times a day, fast in the month of Ramadan, give money to charity, and pay pilgrimage to Mecca. The Quran is the holy book of Islam which was written by Muhammad, who is regarded as “the perfect person” and the last prophet. The Quran says that there is only one true god, that is, Allah.

What do Muslims believe about Jesus?

While Christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God, Muslims believe Allah has no son. Jesus appears 25 times in the Quran and is given special status, but He is only ever referred to as a prophet. The Quran states that Jesus never died on the cross but agrees that He will return to earth to usher in the end time.

Converted Muslims Face Persecution

When Muslims convert to Christianity, they face intense persecution; however, the number of believers from a Muslim background is growing. Islam has the most severe penalty for apostasy in the world. It is clearly stated in their laws that Muslims must not give up their Islamic beliefs, otherwise they are “apostates”, which is an insult to Islam; as a result, such people must be punished. Muhammad said: “Whoever changes his religion, execute him.“

According to《Open Doors》, the yearly published World Watch List shows that among the top ten countries which are most dangerous for Christians, half of them are Muslim countries. In addition, 40 out of the top 50 most dangerous countries have Muslim majority in their population.

Further, the terrorist attacks launched by Islamic extremist organizations are now the world’s number one killers of Christians. The converted Muslims are turned against by their own people with knives and guns. Local Christians are often enslaved, abused, sold, raped and even killed for refusing to convert to Islam.

Christian Response to Ramadan

Over 1.8 billion people around the world identify themselves as Muslims. During Ramadan, Muslims earnestly seek to get closer to Allah. In Matthew 5:44, Christ commands us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us. Let us pray that the 1.8 billion Muslims will find the one true God. 】 (Source: Open Doors)

Pray for Venezuela – Reasons Behind the Social Riots

【Current Affairs : Venezuela has been under social unrest due to inflation at the beginning of this year. Domestic protesters have been in constant conflict with the military. In the recent conflict in the street, four people were killed and 100 people were injured. Most people hope that President Maduro will step down and be replaced by Guaido. But the manipulation behind the scenes makes the situation even more complicated.

Since China established a communist relationship with Venezuela, China has invested as much as 120 billion U.S. dollars in Venezuela. The purpose is to expand the Communist  political power and to obtain the economic interests of the oil industry, and become a creditor country while using Venezuela against the United States. China also output anti-riot military equipment and install social monitoring system for the country. Russia also has oil deals with Venezuela.

The United States and many countries support Guadido to come into power, hoping to resolve the social unrest in the country peacefully, asking President Maduro to release  his political power completely and flee to Cuba or Russia. The United States has terminated its heavy oil refining and economic sanctions, and sent troops to the Colombia. If the Maduro military forces suppress the people on a large scale, the US military will immediately send troops to stop it.

Corruption of the government : Beginning from the former President Chavez,  the corruption by the profit-making group had been going on. Maduro continued the same  practice, relying on China and Russia, with huge sums of money continue to flow into the country, but the funds was pocketed by a few totalitarian people. President Maduro has been greatly condemned in the international community.

Status of the Church: Venezuelan Catholicism accounts for 98% of the population and Protestantism only 1.5%. because of the refugee crisis in South America, it stirred the hearts of the refugees and local believers to have a longing for the gospel, and they are flocking to the church. The church planting has increased, but local gangsters are trying to get in the midst to steal and to cheat on people.】

Pray for Sweden – 40 Weeks of Prayers for the Revival and Transformation of Europe

【 National Profile : Sweden, a neutral nation, is blessed to have abundant natural resources and  thrives in business and industry.  Protestantism is the state religion. Sweden is an extremely secular country for quite a while now, with spiritual dryness, facing loneliness, anxiety and depression and burning out.  Founded in the 11th century, the largest country in Northern Europe, Sweden was once again established as a nation in 1523. It became one of the European powers between 1611 and 1721. It remained neutral in both world wars.  Sweden has 15 world cultural heritages, and is known to be the country of forests, which accounts for 54% of the land.

Social situation:  Economic freedom and education popularization have brought rapid industrialization, exporting iron, copper and wood, leading technology, having the world’s largest multinational companies. Sweden lacks oil and coal, but with the advancement of transportation, it is easy for them to receive supply from others. Sweden is an advanced country of freedom and democracy. Citizens enjoy a high quality of life. The government pays attention to environmental protection. After World War II, it established a social welfare system.

Sweden became the first country in the world to allow transgenderism in 1972. Congress passed the Gender Neutral Marriage Act on April 1, 2009 and on May 1 Sweden became the seventh country in the world to legalize same-sex marriage. The Swedish State Church also perform same-sex wedding ceremonies.

Spiritual situation: 75% of Sweden believes in Christianity, followed by Islam. Sweden is not interested in religion. Christian does not even talk about their faith; people are missing real and meaningful relationship; there’s an increase in mental illness more than ever.

Pray for the First Nations in China – the Tribe of Qiang in Sichuan

【 Background : The Qiang people is known for their occupation as shepherd. The character of their tribe has a “sheep” above self, which shows the origin of the biblical culture in their culture. More and more evidences from the scholars indicated that the “Qiang” is very likely to be a descendant of Jews came to China. And possibly one of the ten lost tribes of Israel. The sheep has always been used as sacrifices by the Qiang people’s. The concept of atonement for the sacrifice is the same as that of the Jews. Every year, the Lamb will be sacrificed. There are three major festivals each year: the New Year, the Peace Festival in  Midsummer and the Thanksgiving in early autumn. During these Ceremony, all the males must take part, without excuses, just like the Israeli males going up to Jerusalem three times a year. There are also other evidences:

• The Qiang people use white rocks in the sacrifice, similar to the tribe of Simeon.
• The altar for sacrifice of the Qiang people, is similar to the burnt office in the Bible. The priests of the Qiang are called “Xiebi”. They wear fine linen, and they will perform sacrifice, healing, and cast out demons. Which are similar to the Jewish rabbi.
• The Qiang people wiped the blood of the lamb on the four corners of the altar, it is same in the Bible.
• The Qiang people painted the sheep’s blood on the door, and then evolved into the “Spring Festival Couplets “, just like The Passover.
• Qiang preserved the Hebrew pronunciation of “Yahwei”, as the name of the Lord of Israel.

Current status of Qiang’s culture and beliefs:

Today the “Qiang” is divided into “the ancient ” and the “current Qiang”. The ancient Qiang located in the northwest merged with the various ethnic groups and becomes the embryonic form of the Han. Some scholars even consider the Qiang people as the ancestors of the Chinese people. Shennong and Daxu were both ancient Qiang. Historians also believe that the Qin people was part of the Qiang’s, and the first Chinese dynasty Xia was made up of mostly Qiang people. Today’s Qiang are mostly settled in Sichuan, with 300,000 population. The Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008 caused the death of more than 30,000 Qiang people, and the rescue and preservation of the Qiang culture was of great concern.

The Qiang people originally believed in the one and only creator. Because they are a tribe that migrate, in the process of migration, it adopted the culture of the place, such as the Han’s idol Guanyin, Taoism and Tibetan Buddhism. The Qiang people are now mixed with various religious systems, and the ancient belief culture of the Qiang people is gradually lost among young people, and some evolved from the platform of culture that is highly commercialized. Middle-aged people and young people seem to have belief superficially, but in actuality agnostic, very self-centered, seeking personal interests, pursue pleasures, not holiness, along with the disasters they encountered in recent years. There is no long pursuit of the meaning of life, no concern of the thought of death. Most of them are merely getting by, there is not even a single church among nearly 300,000 Qiang people.
