Dear global 24/7 Walls intercessors, peace!

This year’s fasting month begins on the evening of March 10 and ends on the evening of April 8. All Muslims will fast from sunrise to sunset. During this time, they are in a spiritually high moment. Billions of Muslims around the world will try their best to get closer to “Allah” during the month of Ramadan. They fast, pray, reflect and gather together. We also believe that this is the season when God touches the hearts of Muslims.

The 30 Days of Prayer for the Muslim World was launched in 1993 by a group of missionary leaders who believed that God challenged them to have the heart of God and to see the Muslim world through the loving eyes of Heavenly Father. It is estimated that millions of Christians around the world participate in the ” 30 Days of Prayer for Muslims Campaign ” during Ramadan every year. The goal is to gather everyone to pray and bless Muslims during the 30 days of Ramadan. Through this prayer movement, we hope that followers of Christ can pray for them with understanding and then have a deeper understanding of God’s love for Muslims.

This year due to copyright issues, we are unable to reprint the 30 days of prayer manual for the Muslim world in 2024 here. Declaration Prayer: For President Trump and His Team [Update]

We declare in the name of Jesus :

• God will continue to bless and protect President Trump and his family, as well as the “scepter of justice” that God has raised up to support him in his government.
• The blood of Jesus covers them and those close to President Trump, bind and drive away any witchcraft or spells cast on them.
• The Holy Spirit continues to pour out and personally guide President Trump. He grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God. ( Lu 2:52 )
• The seven spirits of God are manifested in President Trump’s life ( Isaiah 11:1-3 ), giving him keen insight and discernment, judging the situation, and resolutely continuing to fulfill his call.
•  God will restore Trump to his rightful position at His best time and give people grace to transition.

Declaration Prayer: The Declaration for the Hebrew Month of Adar I

Editor’s note: Adar is the twelfth month of the Jewish calendar in 5784, corresponding to February 10 to March 10, 2024 in the Western calendar.

Declare in the name of Jesus :

• I am full of the grace of the Lord!

• The Holy Spirit keeps giving me good things and giving me words of grace.

• I embrace who I am as a warrior of God. God will provide for me.

• The more I celebrate, the more I get into who I really am.

• The more joyful I am, the more the “mask” is peeled off.

• When I feel anxious about provision, I immediately declare God to be my provider.

• The joy of the Lord is my strength. My laughter will break the barrenness and initiate the fulfillment of God’s promises.

• Depression and discouragement have no place in me.

• Jesus set me free. For any remaining bondage in my life, the release is already underway.

• I celebrate the goodness of God, every command against me is broken in the name of Jesus.

• I forgive those who “curse” me. I break all false declarations in my life.

• I am the leader! I am rising!

We believe that the establishment of the “Jerusalem Aboriginal Embassy” at this time is crucial and in line with Your will. May You bless every indigenous group participating in this event according to Your promises, and may You also use this embassy to change the views of indigenous peoples and non-Indigenous people around the world, and become a center for inspiring indigenous peoples around the world to support Israel and boycott the Israel’s deceitful, misleading, and misleading statements. We declare in the name of Jesus Christ,

Stepping into Your Next Place!

So many are wanting to get through something or to something, and yet it’s going to take one step at a time to get there. We don’t have to try to run into our future but can focus on taking the first step and decreeing, “I’m going to get there!”

Here is a portion of the prophetic revelation released on Sunday, February 25th, that will help you get to your next place.

“Today is the day of first steps. I want you to step forward in Me, and those steps are going to be so prominent in you. But as you begin to move and step this week, you will step faster, and you will have a sure footing. You will see what I see and hear what I hear, and you will do what I say [to] do. But it begins with stepping, stepping in Me. Step forward! All week, step forward – even to Passover. Your steps will increase! You’ll see the steps that I have for you, the steps that I’ve ordered for you. Take a step!

“It’s possible to be angry and sin not (Ephesians 4:26). Anger at injustice is righteous anger. It is not love to wink at injustice; it is love to resist it.

“We are in a spiritual and ideological war for this nation. Ours is a call to spiritual warfare, and it is a call to cultural battles. It is an ideological war against unrighteous government and societal tyranny. It’s a call to speak truth to abusive, lying powers. The call of the Ekklesia is to arise and stand against evil. The weapons God gave us are mighty through Him to the pulling down of strongholds. We are called to partner with Him and stop corruption. It is time to cast off fear, apathy, indifference, laziness, and stand against injustice.

The Serpent’s Head Is Coming Off

“Last year, a shameful act of bullying by our government took place against our former president. This atrocity has never been done before in our nation. When I heard the news, I was reminded of things the Lord impressed upon me just prior to the event: ‘Leaders of some governmental agencies are about to panic. They will begin doing crazy things that will further expose their motives. In sheer desperation, they will lash out, but it will only reveal more of their own wickedness and evil. And though they are too deceived to know it, their dictatorial actions and communist tactics will have been further exposed.’

“Many in governmental positions of authority are trying to cover up their actions and lies. However, God spoke to me in a previous prophecy, ‘I will pull the covers off of you. I will bury your plans. I will write with My own finger “VANQUISHED.” As Jesus said in Matthew 15:14 (concerning the arrogant perversion of authority by Pharisees), ‘…They are blind… [But] if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into the ditch.‘

“Currently, there are arrogant, self-righteous leaders in America who are going to lead other blind and arrogant people into a ditch. When fools lead fools, wrecks happen. “1 Kings 18 speaks of Ahab’s and Jezebel’s confrontation with the prophet Elijah. King Ahab and Elijah met, and Elijah proposed a challenge. An altar would be built and a sacrifice placed upon it; however, neither would light a fire. Each would ask for supernatural fire to fall on the sacrifice – Ahab’s prophets praying to their god, Baal; Elijah praying to Yahweh. The challenge would prove whose god was truly God.

“The followers of Baal went first, praying from morning until afternoon with no results. Then it was Elijah’s turn. Immediately, the fire of God fell from Heaven and consumed the offering. The challenge was over. The Baal workers supporting Jezebel were appropriately dealt with.

“This passage of Scripture reveals that God has removed Baal’s influence from governments before. I believe He’s going to do so again. The day of reckoning is here. The hand of God is about to interrupt their party. The desecration of God’s laws and statutes will not go unopposed. The almighty King is going to stomp on the head of Leviathan that is slithering through government departments; his days in our government are numbered.

Partnering with the Holy Spirit

“As I prayed into current events, the Lord spoke to me: ‘The Ekklesia must partner with Holy Spirit, allowing Him to lead in an aggressive battle plan. This plan will end in great deliverance, great reversals, and great victories – and will begin the discipling of nations.‘

“We must embrace this assignment. In many ways, our nation and way of life depend on it. Clearly, doctrines of demons are prevalent in our land; antichrist culture is being actively promoted. Christians are being persecuted, and our values are being vilified; the Church has been described by some government leaders as ‘non-essential.’

“The war against Christ’s Kingdom and Ekklesia is real and is intensifying, but we are not without recourse! We have everything we need in order to prevail and turn this nation around. I believe the glorious Ekklesia is rising, just as God’s Word said it would. The Kingdom of God is amping up like I’ve never seen before in order to accomplish Christ’s purpose on the earth.

“To achieve this, we must do things God’s way, following the patterns and principles of Scripture. Sadly, we have too often seen nominal churches and shallow Christianity being promoted by fearful leaders. Obviously, this will not work; it is actually part of the problem. Nowhere in the Bible does it say to run from our adversaries, or to be silent. We must not compromise, bow to fear, or cower to any challenge of our faith.

“As Christ’s Ekklesia, we must raise our voices, make a visible stand without compromise, and be strong in the Lord. We must bring clarity and proper definition from Scripture to culture. When challenged by an ‘in your face’ attack from Hell, we must respond by being real Christians, not religious pacifists, trembling in fear from loud-mouthed devils. (Photo via Pxfuel)

“There is a remnant in the Church that has heard Ahab’s defiance long enough. They are ready to rise up and do things God’s way, declaring, ‘Let the God who answers by fire be our God. If Baal is god, we’ll serve him. If Yahweh is God, we’ll serve Him. Let’s find out! Let’s find out who the real God is’ (see 1 Kings 18:24).

“Jesus said Hell’s government would not prevail. Let’s find out if Christ is big enough to back that up. I am confident that He can! God said He would watch over His Word to perform it. He said He would cause us to triumph. Let’s find out! Let’s find out if the name of Jesus is greater than any other name. I’m confident that it is!”

Vessels for His Glory

As Believers, we have been created, called, anointed and appointed to shake the nations with the glory of God. This calling and precious anointing shouldn’t be taken lightly. It comes with tremendous responsibility. Just as Kathryn Kuhlman once said, “It will cost you everything,” if we want to be used in miracles, signs, and wonders, we must pay the price. The Lord is calling us to a higher level of accountability.

God is not a taskmaster, and He will never violate your will, but to whom much is given, much is required. In order to be used as vessels of this mighty work, Jesus is beckoning us to walk closer to Him in deeper intimacy, and He requires us to have clean hands and a pure heart. As we grow, we will encounter higher levels of warfare, but He will give us the wisdom when it comes to the strategies of the enemy. He will show us the game plan to overcome every plot set against us.

The Lord wants dedicated Believers who give no place to the devil. He wants those with radical faith that go beyond the ordinary. If we humble ourselves and pray in accordance to 2 Chronicles 7:14, our prayers will eradicate the forces of darkness so that the enemy can no longer prevail.

Jesus said that you can’t sew an unshrunken patch of cloth on an old garment or it will tear, and you can’t put new wine into old wineskins because they will break, the wine will spill out, and the wineskins will be ruined. You need new wineskins so both will be preserved (Matthew 9:16–17). Then comes the crushing of the grapes, which is a stage that you go through to produce the new wine.

If we are going to be vessels used by God in powerful and effective ways, we need new wineskins to hold the new wine. We need to let go of the things that may be hindering the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. The Lord is looking for those whom He can trust with His anointing. There are some people, as well as some churches, who are running out of wine, and Jesus is going to come as He did in the wedding at Cana and turn the water into wine. The pharisaic paradigm and way of living will not accept this new wine, but those who are mature will be able to receive in abundance.

A Plan and Purpose for Your Life

You may be thinking, If we have authority over the kingdom of darkness, and we are called to shake the nations with the glory of God, why does it appear like the forces of Hell have been gaining ground and prevailing? Why is our country going in a negative direction? Because it’s up to the Body of Christ to take back our nation.

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Every Believer has a unique purpose and calling in life, and the Lord is calling upon every one of us to step up and embrace what He has for us. He has a vision that He has placed in our hearts that needs to be fulfilled. If we are all walking in what we were created to do, we will make a profound impact on the world around us. What is His plan and purpose for your life?

A Call to Every Believer!

The Lord is calling the Abrahams! He says, “I’ve called you to be an apostle, the father to many nations. I’ve tried you and I tested you, and you were willing to give up that which was dearest to you. Your unwavering commitment and sacrifice have not gone unnoticed. “I am calling the Sarahs! Some are called to be mothers to the nations and some are called to be apostles. There are women who are more mature in years who will laugh when they hear the plans I have for them, because it is impossible to attain these things in the natural. To those who are spiritually barren: Sing, O barren woman! It’s time to conceive the promised child that I’ve called and ordained.

“I am calling the Jacobs! I now call you ‘Israel.’ Through your winter seasons, I am working underground. As you allow Me to work deep within your roots, luscious fruit will come out from the dirt. I will give you access to a higher level. I will show you dreams. As you enter a new realm you will say, ‘Surely this is the house of God!’

“To the Josephs: You once had a dream, but that dream was stolen from you. You are despised because you are favored. You have been put down and abused by others but have not taken offense. The pit that you were thrown in will eventually become your palace. The rejection, abandonment, and abuse will soon be a thing of the past. You have been falsely accused, but you never let go of your dreams. You will be a ruler over nations. I have given you a gift to discern the meaning of dreams. Others will come to you with their night visions asking for interpretation. They will call you a ‘revealer of mysteries,’ and you will prosper in times of famine.

“Moseses, it’s time to raise your voice! Do not say, ‘I am not eloquent,’ or, ‘I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.’ Who made your mouth? I will anoint your voice and you will speak with authority. I am calling forth the Moseses to raise up Joshuas, to train men how to be strong and very courageous, to train them in leadership and how to be tenacious in spiritual warfare, to teach them how to be more than conquerors in every battle, to encourage them to pursue My plan and calling on their lives and never retreat.

“I am raising up the Deborahs! There will be some who are prophetesses and others who are judges, bringing correction and morality to a corrupt nation. They will rule with authority and release the prophetic word to the nations. They are spiritual leaders who don’t fear warfare, but they instruct, share, and prophesy the battle plan of the LORD. They will sing a song of victory when taking back the land. Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake! Sing a song!

“Samuels, you have been marked from a young age! You are called to be prophets to the nations. I will use you to raise up kings and prophets. There will be ‘schools of prophets’ to train others how to hear God’s voice and prophesy with wisdom and revelation. You will discern false teachings and recognize false prophets, and none of your words will fall to the ground.

“I am calling the Davids! You are warriors and worshipers. You’ve cried out to Me and I’ve heard your prayers. The melodies of your harp have reached the heavens, and as you’ve worshiped Me in secret, I will reward you openly. You slew the lion and the bear, and killed the giant. You will raise up mighty warriors to do the same. You will train their hands for war and their fingers for battle.

“I am calling the Elijahs to train and equip the next generation! The Elisha generation will emerge with the Holy Spirit and power. Their prophetic words will come forth with boldness and accuracy. They will call down fire from Heaven to destroy the doctrine of the prophets of Baal and silence the false prophets. They will be fed supernaturally in times of famine. This is the time for creative miracles. In this season of encounters with the living God, they will minister with authority.

“I am calling the Esthers for such a time as this! Women of God, it’s time to claim your inheritance. You have a blood covenant with Jesus Christ. Through your union with Him, you too have been claimed by God as His own inheritance. Before you were even born, He gave you your destiny, that you would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in His heart.

“I am calling forth the Naomis to train up the young Ruths – the godly women who will comfort and teach the younger women how to live a lifestyle of integrity, sincerity, and respect; to teach them how to walk in humility, wisdom, and honor in their relationships!

“I speak to the Jobs who have been refined in the fire, tested, and tried. You will come forth as gold! The battles have been fierce, but you have not submitted to the adversary. Your feet have followed closely in My steps. You have not departed from the commands of My lips, and you’ve treasured My Word more than your daily bread. Receive your double portion of all that was lost!

“I am calling the Daniels who survived the lion’s den, and I’m raising up apostles like the apostle Paul, who healed the sick and raised the dead! He was beaten, stoned, and shipwrecked but continued to preach Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, and salvation.

“Jonahs, you are running from the call of God on your life! If you walk out of My will, not only will your life be in jeopardy, but others in the same boat as you will be in danger. I am calling you to repentance, to bring revival and restoration to our land. I don’t want to send judgment but mercy to deliver people of their evil ways.

“I am calling Lazaruses to ‘come forth’ and ‘rise up, man of God’! It is time to take your rightful position as an anointed man of power and authority. You will see a resurrection of dead relationships restored, as many men will be renewing their vows to Jesus. It’s time to throw off your grave clothes and arise to the fullness of what I have called you to do. You will be a sign and wonder to the nations.

“I am calling the Marys! They are those who are highly favored and are carriers of My glory. They are those who have said in their hearts, ‘Be it done unto me according to Thy word’ (Luke 1:38). They have abandoned their lives… They are those who are in labor and ready to conceive. They have been overshadowed with My glory, and My Word dwells in them. They will produce great things as they bring forth My promises to the ends of the earth. For with Me, nothing shall be impossible in their lives.

“I’m calling forth the Pauls who will be used mightily in this end time harvest! You have submitted to My call, and you have not denied My name. It’s time to preach the Gospel to all living creatures. You will be used in the far corners of the earth. There will be many conversions, and you will be greatly rewarded.

“I’m calling every Believer to rise up and take your place in the Kingdom of God! It’s time to take a stand to take back your land while everything is shaking that can be shaken. Don’t shrink back in fear, but go forth in boldness, shaking the nation for the glory of God!

“And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.” (Job 42:10)

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake Heaven and Earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” (Haggai 2:6–9)

1. 1. Seek God First: Humility of your heart will attract God’s favor. Your devoted character will attract His attention.

   3. When opportunities come, recognize them. False humility, holding back, hiding your light, denying your gifts, diminishing your potential, not fulfilling your mission, burying your talents – all of these rob you of the awesomeness God wants to reveal glory through your life.

There is a World of Difference between Selfish Ambition and Godly Ambition

• The opportunities God creates will be God-centered. Selfish ambition is self-centered.

• The opportunities created by God are always greater than self. Selfish ambition is all about self.

• God created opportunities to ground truth. Selfish ambition makes truth dispensable.

• The opportunities God creates bring blessings to those around you. Selfish ambition takes advantage of those around you.

• The opportunities God creates expand your world. Selfish ambition will shrink your world.

• You are being re-purposed in order to expand you.

• During this chaotic season, you may experience your calling being reconfigured and reshaped.

• This is not to say that your essence or core calling has changed. But the way it is expressed or implemented will be different in the days to come.

• Heavenly Father is always guiding you back to the core of your true identity – who you really are.

• This is your instinct, your most natural instinct. You will feel relaxed and elegant.

• It contains unusual favor and expansion. It brings freedom, contentment and life.

• God has been slowly stripping away the extraneous things that were added over time that were never part of His desires or intentions for you.

• They are placed upon you through past experiences and false expectations of others.

• This “excess baggage” will distract you and bring unnecessary stress, exhaustion and overwhelm to your life. It diminishes your joy in serving the Lord. This is not Heavenly Father’s desire or design for you.

• Let God continue to take away things you don’t need. They don’t match where He wants to take you.

• You may feel vulnerable, insecure, and disoriented for a while. You may not be sure where you “fit.” Soon, you will regain your lost passion and return to your true inner world. Your deepest God-given desires will come back to you. You will find your place. You will discover your tribe. You will become more deeply rooted in Christ. You will receive new anointing and authority in your calling and assignment. You will be full of energy.

• You are being re-purposed in order to expand you.

Everyone is Equal before God

• Exodus 30:12-16    “When you take a census of the Israelites to count them, each one must pay the Lord a ransom for his life at the time he is counted. Then no plague will come on them when you number them.  Each one who crosses over to those already counted is to give a half shekel,[a] according to the sanctuary shekel, which weighs twenty gerahs. This half shekel is an offering to the Lord.  All who cross over, those twenty years old or more, are to give an offering to the Lord.  The rich are not to give more than a half shekel and the poor are not to give less when you make the offering to the Lord to atone for your lives. Receive the atonement money from the Israelites and use it for the service of the tent of meeting. It will be a memorial for the Israelites before the Lord, making atonement for your lives.”

• The individual atonement is commemorated as a whole, both for the building and for the formation of the army.

• Exodus 30:18-21  “Make a bronze basin, with its bronze stand, for washing. Place it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.  Aaron and his sons are to wash their hands and feet with water from it.  Whenever they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water so that they will not die. Also, when they approach the altar to minister by presenting a food offering to the Lord,  they shall wash their hands and feet so that they will not die. This is to be a lasting ordinance for Aaron and his descendants for the generations to come.

• Exodus 30:25-30    Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil.  Then use it to anoint the tent of meeting, the ark of the covenant law,  the table and all its articles, the lampstand and its accessories, the altar of incense,  the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand.  You shall consecrate them so they will be most holy, and whatever touches them will be holy. “Anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them so they may serve me as priests.

Golden Calf Incident

• Exodus 32:1-8   When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come, make us gods[a] who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.” Aaron answered them, “Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me.”  So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron.  He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, “These are your gods,[b] Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.” When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, “Tomorrow there will be a festival to the Lord.”  So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have become corrupt.  They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, ‘These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.’

• Genesis 2:25   Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame..

• Exodus 32:1  When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, “Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.”

• The word buwsh is translated as “delay” and “shame,” linking the story of creation to the story of the golden calf.

• The sin of the golden calf was not only a rejection of the Sinai covenant, but a rejection of creation itself.

• Delayed and unable to go down the mountain

• • Leaders may lack the courage to lead. Sometimes leaders have to go against the masses. They had to say no when everyone else was crying. This can be scary. The crowd has its own will and drive. Saying “no” could put your career or even your life at risk. That’s when courage is needed, and not showing it could constitute the worst kind of moral failure. A typical example is King Saul and Aaron’s failure.

• • It is traditional to be kind to Aaron. He is portrayed as a peaceful man. Perhaps this is why he was appointed high priest. There is more than one kind of leadership, and priesthood involves following the rules, taking a stand, and not swaying the crowd. But Aaron was not the kind of leader Moses was, and when he played Moses he failed. This means he was born for a different role. A GROUP Sometimes you need someone with the courage to stand in the crowd, and others you need a peacemaker. (Blackface and Whiteface) Moses and Aaron are different types.

• • Aaron failed when he was called to be Moses, but he became a great leader in a different capacity. Working together as two different leaders, Aaron and Moses complemented each other perfectly. No one can do everything. (Fathers and mothers each having their own duties) Moses may be needed to restore order. But at other times, an Aaron may be needed to keep the peace.

• Delayed and unable to go down the mountain

• • Abraham Ishmael

• • Saul reluctantly offered sacrifice

• • The classic example is King Saul, who failed to carry out Samuel’s instructions during the battle against the Amalekites. Saul was told not to spare anyone and not to spare anything. But Saul compromised.

• Exodus 32:9-14  “I have seen these people,” the Lord said to Moses, “and they are a stiff-necked people.  Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.” But Moses sought the favor of the Lord his God. “Lord,” he said, “why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand?  Why should the Egyptians say, ‘It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth’? Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people.  Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self: ‘I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever.’”  Then the Lord relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.

• Exodus 32:18-19  Moses replied: “It is not the sound of victory, it is not the sound of defeat; it is the sound of singing that I hear.” When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain. Moses said, “This is not the sound of men in victory, nor the sound of men in defeat, but I hear the sound of men singing.” As Moses approached the camp, he saw the calf and the people dancing. He became furious and threw the two tablets at the foot of the mountain and broke them into pieces.

• Exodus 32:22 “Do not be angry, my lord,” Aaron answered. “You know how prone these people are to evil.

• Exodus 32:31-34  So Moses went back to the Lord and said, “Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold. 32 But now, please forgive their sin—but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written.” The Lord replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book.  Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin.”

• Exodus 33:1 ’The LORD said to Moses, “I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that I would give the land of Canaan to your descendants.” Now you and the people you brought out of the land of Egypt are going from here to that land. I will send my messenger before you, who will drive out the Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, and will bring you to a land flowing with milk and honey. I myself will not go up with you ; for you are a stiff-necked people, lest I destroy you on the way

Desire to be Face to Face With the Lord

• Exodus 33:7 Now Moses used to take a tent and pitch it outside the camp some distance away, calling it the “tent of meeting.” Anyone inquiring of the Lord would go to the tent of meeting outside the camp.

• Exodus 33:11  The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.

• Exodus 33:12-18  Moses said to the Lord, “You have been telling me, ‘Lead these people,’ but you have not let me know whom you will send with me. You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’  If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.” The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.  How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” And the Lord said to Moses, “I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.” Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”

• Exodus 33:21-23  Then the Lord said, “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock.  When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.  Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.”

• 1 Kings 19:11-13 The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.” Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.  After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.  When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

13 attributes of Mercy

• Exodus 34:6-7 And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,  maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation.”

• Jehovah (Adonai): He loved me before I sinned

• Jehovah (Adonai): He still loves me after I sinned

• El (God): Power; God’s great love to meet the needs of all creation

• (mercy)

• (grace)

• (slow to anger)

• (abundant lovingkindness)

• (honest)

• (Preserving love for thousands of people)

• (forgiveness of sins)

• (forgive transgressions)

• (forgiveness of sins)

• (Never assume that the guilty are innocent):

Prayer

• 2 Corinthians 3:12-18   Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.  We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away.  But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.  Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.  But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.  Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit
