Pursuing Intimacy With God: The Voice of the Lord  

Dear Abba Father, Your voice is over the waters. Father of glory, You thunder over the mighty waters. Your voice is powerful. Your voice is majestic. Your voice flashes forth flames of fire. Your voice shakes the wilderness. Oh Father, shake us, shake our hearts as well! Father, Your voice makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare. Oh Father, yes, let Your voice bring forth new life in us and strip our old selves bare. Just like in the beginning when You created the heavens and the earth, You said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. Oh Father, speak to us and let Your voice call forth everything that is good for our lives! Oh Father, You are such a great and awesome God, a God of thunders and lightnings, yet You are our Father who cares for us and loves us deeply. Oh, how grateful we are, for in You we have great hope. Even in times of flood, You sit enthroned as King. Therefore, we trust in You and will never be moved and will boldly proclaim, “The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with peace.” Let us shout out praise and worship to You and let everyone in the temple cry, “Glory! Glory! Glory!”

Repentance Prayer: Repentance for the Country 08

• Psalm 139:13-16  For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. … Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
• Proverbs 6:16-17 There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,

Abba Father, Your words have taught us that a baby in the womb is created by God, and You knew them before they were born. Current researches also confirm the teachings of the Bible, affirming that life begins with conception. We further learn that a fetus begins to experience perception and consciousness from the 25th day of conception.

Abba Father, a fetus is the most vulnerable and powerless being in the world, the weakest among the weak. We have committed the sin of the shedding innocent blood. Please forgive our city for the sin of abortion which has so far claimed more than 58 million lives. Please also forgive the sins of sexual immorality which are behind and related to abortion (such as extramarital affairs, premarital sex, rape, etc.)

We ask that through our intercession, You would bear the punishment and curse of the sin of abortion on the Cross. We ask You to breathe life into women in this generation and to awaken their spirit that they might know the truth. Let them bravely say no to abortion so that they would no longer be harmed in their body and mind. Heal the body and mind of those have already had abortion. In the victorious name of the Lord Jesus, we break all curses and annul all effects of any accusations and spiritual  bondage  exerted by the enemy.  Let all nations respect life, delight in life, and protect life. We ask You to stop abortion from being legalized and close abortion clinics, so that more babies would have a chance to live.  Bless them with loving families that they might enjoy their precious lives You have given them.

• Father God will soften the heart of Xi Jinping, so he can know You.
• Father God will bless Chairman Xi Jinping and all the officials of China, and give them godly wisdom to govern China.
• Father God will give Chairman Xi Jinping and government officials heart of righteousness, compassion, and humility to walk with God.
• God raise up Christians to be aides by Chairman Xi Jinping’s side and be of great help to him, so that he will make godly decisions in everything to bring world peace. In particular, the relationship between Taiwan and China, so that China and Taiwan will be blessed as well as nations.
• In the daily busy schedules and routines, Chairman Xi Jingping will be given enough energy and physical strength, and also courage and wisdom to deal with cases of corrupted officials.
• Father God will give him gentleness, patience, peace and stability to face the issue of Sino-US trade according to God’s will.

【PRAYER】

• Heal The Land: Heavenly Father, we come before the throne of grace on behalf of Estonia, to confess and repent of our sins of resentment, superstition, secularization, and alcoholism.  Please give us the grace to be reconciled with God and man to resolve all hatred and bitterness through the love of the cross and to heal the land and wounded hearts. Please open up the eyes of those who are trapped by superstitions and secularism. Set those who are under heavy alcohol influence free  that they may overcome by the grace of God. Lead them out of darkness into light, and walk in the truth. Father God, use their life stories to testify for Lord Jesus Christ and spreading the good news. May there be great harvest of souls in Estonia! (Psalm 103:2-6)
• More of The Fire of Revival: Heavenly Father, please re-ignite the revival fire of the Estonian, so the church that is asleep will once again be on fire for Christ to follow Christ faithfully. Let there be prayer altars and set the church ablaze with the flame of love through Holy Spirit. May You call out the leaders, teachers of the seminary, and Bible schools to fill them with Holy Spirit. Lead and guide them to help equip godly workers to shepherd the flock of God. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Estonia will enter the destiny of God to build foundation of truth and live out the holy life and character of Christ. The latter glory of Estonia will be greater than the former glory! (Thess 2:9)

Pray For Egypt: Lead The Son of Ishmael Home!

Mathew 2:15  where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”

【PRAYER】

• Salvation Come to The People of Egypt: Father God, as the Scripture said, Egypt is Your people ( Isaiah 19:25) and that,  Out of Egypt, I call my son.  (Matthew 2:15) “So the LORD will make himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and grain offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and keep them.(Isaiah 19:21)  We declare in the name of Jesus Christ that Now is the time for Egypt to be healed and it is the time for her salvation! You will shine upon the people of Egyptians, lead them back to You, and supernaturally appear to them by open their understanding! The power behind Islam will collapse like a domino. The  truth will be revealed in Egypt and in the Muslim world, and many of the sons of Ishmael will called out and come to the Most High God!
• Pray for The Egyptian Church And Believers: Father God, fill the children of Egypt with the Holy Spirit, so they can rooted and grounded in Your love and truth. Strengthen the faith of those who are persecuted to  stand firm while going through difficulties. Raise up Your people to possess the land in every area, expand their influence, and spread the gospel. Continue to shake off the strongholds that hinder God’s plans, so that the national decree is aligned with Your will. Pour down more anointing of unity, so that the  denominations can align with the minds of God. Let the churches help and support each other in the love of Christ and let the unity in John 17 arrive in Egypt, and the Egyptian churches be united as one, like the Son and the Father are one. In the name of Jesus Christ, the family of God will  grow in Egypt, and the world will see the people of God in Egypt
• Pray for Egypt’s Destiny : Heavenly Father, we ask You to take charge in Egypt, give the spirit of fear of God, transform the government and President el-Sisi, and let Egypt enter into her destiny and become a nation of justice, righteousness, and Integrity. A nation with love for the people and walking with God. In the name of Jesus Christ, we declare: “In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together. In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the earth!” (Isaiah 19:23-24)

• Confession of Colleges and Universities： Father, on behalf of over 35,000 colleges and 21 million college students on campuses, faculties, administrators under higher education system…….forgive our rebellious education, full of worldviews and sins, prideful attitude, worshipers of falsehood and deception. We plead the Blood of Jesus setting us free from captivity (1 John 1:9) and death.
• God’s Sovereignty： Father, You have moved historically and powerfully in campus revivals, sending of many reach out to the lost world with the Power of Gospel, and in the prayer movements for students’ spiritual awakening. (2 Chron. 16:9)
• Praying against evil strongholds： Father, forgive the ignorance of church, not standing against culture of naturalism, hedonism, pluralism, scientism and false worldviews, academic, violence and verbal and physical abuse on students, anti-God agendas, political bias and fascism…we pray for church will take authority over colleges for protection and in warfare, to seek the pouring of the Holy Spirit on campuses across America.
• Pray for secular Faculty, Professors： Father, we pray for unrighteous professors will no longer suppress the truth with their futile thinking, their hearts to be changed; no longer deliberately and intellectually attack or belittle conservative students; will be just in their grading and testing; moral or political bias will not affect students’ grades; negative and anti-God influences will be resisted, will be moved and be hungry for God.

Father, the government of Israel is upon the shoulder of your beloved Son Jesus, whose name is Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Price of Peace. May you take charge of the control of the new Israeli government. Let the new government rule the nation with Justice and righteousness. (Isaiah 9:6b-7). We declare in the name of Lord Jesus:
  • The Lord shall give Israel a new government that will act righteously, honor your Word and give you Glory.
  • The new government shall give priority to Aliyah and open doors for the messianic believers.
  • The new government shall treat national security as the fundamental issue

  • The new government shall protect life, reverse legal abortion

• For the salvation of Israel:Heavenly Father, at this important moment, we stand firm to pray for the salvation of the people of Israel. We cry out to you, the Glorious Father, release Truth into your chosen people. In this year of the favor and Jubilee, Israel shall see the coming of their messiah. Though they pass through flood and fire, refined in the in the furnace, the Heavenly Father has already chosen Israel; Give them gold instead of bronze, silver instead of iron! Oh Israel, the chose people of Heavenly Father, Jesus has already redeemed you, engraved your name on the Father’s heart! Thank You for rising up the United States to be the most powerful country in the world, to bless many nations in the area of economy and the gospel, and helped China that had gone through so much hardship and suffering to receive great benefits. Now we see the wave of God’s revival coming to China. The power of the gospel transforms China into a soul harvest, and also blesses China’s rapid economic rise, and abundantly prosperous, be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Let the church in Taiwan hold on to the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14, to stand in the gap with one heart and intercede for Taiwan, so the Taiwan church can enter a new spiritual realm and have a spiritual breakthrough. In the name of Jesus, we release the anointing of God’s victory, demolish all the works of the enemy, transform the church in Taiwan to be the seed of revival for the kingdom of God, align with God, bring the revival to the whole earth, and glorify the holy name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Manifest God’s Glory In The 2020 Presidential Election: Heavenly Father, You reign over the president and legislators  election next year, Your will for the presidential and legislators of Taiwan is better and stronger than all man-made manipulation and control, and Taiwan’s entire election will enter into the supernatural order of the Holy Spirit, and be conducted under justice and righteousness. ( Psalm 89:14) In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the chosen candidates of the Lord will win, turn over the laws of same sex marriage  and  the policies of Muslims and LGBTQ.  Let the integrity and justice  replace the corruption of today’s government and  lead Taiwan into destiny.

• Saints of God Will Arise And Shine: Heavenly Father, the prayers of the saints are like incenses displayed before You. May You release Your mighty power to turn Taiwan over, cleanse the land, turn the heart back to the true God, and may God’s will be done in Taiwan as it is in heaven. (Revelation 8:3-5) We declare in the name of Jesus Christ:
  • God will shake Taiwan, to tear down the sinful altars of idols, destroy the temples of idols and dragons, eradicate the rule of dark power, and restore the holy beauty of Taiwan God created her for!
  • God will rise up the people of Taiwan, like Esther, for such a time as this!
  • God will raise up the church in Taiwan, to be bold and courageous and not back down, and became a mighty and powerful instrument of the Kingdom of God!
  • The roar of God will rise from Taiwan, and raise up king Cyrus of Taiwan. Who is righteous, compassionate, and humble, and walked with God!
  • God will raise Taiwan up like the crown of fire in the Pacific Ocean, burning for the one and only true God!

【Background: Estonia, a small country in Eastern Europe, has been invaded and oppressed for a long time in history. After a short period of independence from 1918 to 1940, it was invaded by the Soviet Communists.  Many Estonians were expelled and killed until 1991 when communist power collapsed. Estonia has independently changed its democratic parliament and the hatred of the people to the Russians still exists.

Spiritual Situation: About 54% of Estonians claim to have no religious beliefs, secularization, superstition, loneliness and alcoholism, while 45% of Estonians believe in Christianity; but faith is out of touch with daily life and lack of gospel knowledge. Pray For Egypt: Lead The Son of Ishmael Home!

【Background: Since the “Arab Spring” in 2011, large-scale demonstrations forced President Mubarak, who has been in office for 30 years, to step down in February 2011. Egypt has experienced many levels of shaking, especially in politics, economy, religion, and society. On September 20 this year, anti-government demonstrations broke out across Egypt protesting against the corruption of President el-Sisi, and the military and demanding that el-Sisi steps down. The country still faces many turbulences.

The Special Mission of the Egyptian Church: Egypt has always been the heart of the Arab and Islamic world with the most Christians in the Middle East. About 10% of Egypt’s hundreds of millions of people are Copts who believe in Christ, and about 900,000 believers spread across forty-eight different sects, including Protestant, Catholic, and other Orthodox churches. In addition, there are nearly five million Sudanese Christian refugees and an underground church composed of former Muslim believers. God gave the Egyptian church the mission of bringing the gospel to the Arab world. Although, Egyptian Christians have encountered many serious problems and they have become stronger and more united. They are witnessing  to the Egyptians through various channels, especially satellite television and the Internet.

Persecution of Christians: Since the Muslim Conservative Party took power, the violence and persecution of Christians has doubled, including:

• Discrimination : Discriminationin all aspects, such as applying for government positions and permits to build churches. The business run by believers was attacked, and when they tried to collect bad debts from Muslims, they can be detained，be accused and even be imprisoned.
• Church And Believer Are Being Threatened: Religious militants have repeatedly attacked churches and Christians with bombs, causing many casualties.
• Evangelism Is Prohibited: It is illegal to evangelize Muslims and can be sentenced to three years in prison and considered to be an insult to the state religion.
  Women Are Abused : A large number of Christian women have been kidnapped, raped, beaten and ill-treated for many years. Victims and their families are usually silent and the authorities have turned a deaf ear.

Pray For USA: College Students’ Self Censor vs. Academic Persecution

• Psalm 55:22 ‘Give your burdens to the Lord, and He will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.’
• Deuteronomy 31:6 ‘So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.’ 
• Proverbs 10:11 ‘The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions.’ 

【Alert:  Protection of First Amendment right for conservative College Students’ academic success.  (Psa. 55:22)   Despite President Trump’s Executive Order ensuring colleges and universities’ support free speech. Still an overwhelming majority of conservative college students are self-censoring in classrooms in order to protect their grades. 73% of self-identified ‘Strong Republican’ college students cautiously censor their beliefs in class fearing backlash from leftish professors. (Deu. 31:6)

Recent poll from ‘College Pulse’ related to fear of students that the grades would suffer.  Majority of conservative students are hiding political views in classroom to protect their grades. 

Political discrimination (College Fix Survey and others) indicated various events: (Prov. 10:11)

• Students who responded ‘Pro-Border Wall’ immediately got poor grades (academic persecution) and their papers are rejected by liberal professors.
• Students were kicked out of class for wearing ‘Make America Great Again’ hats.
• Students were criticized when disagreed with transgender child hormonal therapy (hormone blockers), believed children should be taught to love who they are instead of changing their gender. Immediately their names were shamed in the social media (social ostracism).
• Students suffered verbal and physical assault, social ostracism and academic persecution when voicing their opinions on political topics.  

Liberal, progressives typically believe their domination of academia has no impact on students since faculty strive for objectivity, the exposure to liberal viewpoints broadens students’ minds and makes them better world citizens. They believed they are in a culture war to win in ‘moral righteousness’, thus must silence any form of dissent, to make it impossible to be conservative in public. Shortfall: left-learning students rarely have conservative professors to provide them with thoughtful conservative perspectives, their education is often incomplete. 

The right-leaning ‘Federalist’ reported despite controlling for demographics and standardized test scores, conservative students see a slightly steeper decline in their grades from high school to college as compared to their liberal counterpart. This reflects the result of ideological bias driven by faculty furthest to the left (i.e. in the Social Science and Humanities, and among elite institutions). 

Liberalism and progressive institutions attempt to remove conservatism, constitution and freedom of speech. President Trump has signed an Executive Order in March 2019, requiring colleges and universities to protect free speech in order to receiving federal funds. This has some way given strength to conservative students continue to stand up for their political beliefs.

Pray for Israel – Salvation and Unity

【News: September 17th Israeli Election Result. As of the 9/20 morning, the Mid-Left Blue & White party led by Benny Gantz won two extra seats in the Knessetthan the Likud party led by Bibi Netanyahu. The election committee shall provide the official result to President Reuven Rivlin on 9/25 for announcement.

As expected, the result of past week’s national election is similar to the one in the Spring. The joint government negotiation has already begun. Unless some of these politicians could humble themselves, we may face yet another election early next year! Now President Rivlin must talk to all the parties, then hand the job of organizing the next joint government to the one whom he believes has the most chance of success.

The whole world is watching the situation in Israel. She may become the laugh stock of the world, or the example for the world to learn from. We must first pray for a unified Israeli Knesset, and a government that glorifies God. Although at the present Blue & White party occupies more seats, we pray all the key positions and decision makers of the new government shall serve to advance the gospel.
