Although we as the editing team have been revealing the spiritual conditions and facts for various nations in the past few days as various prayer items, each of you, please pray in agreement. But let us not focus on the negative issues, instead we trust in God’s greatness for His salvation and power of revival. Through the global unison of prayers, God will surely revive and transform the nations. God will reveal what are the destructive plans of the enemy , so that we can stand in the gap for the nations. God will hinder the attacks of the enemies. Just like how God used Elisha to warn the Israeli King the plots of the Syrian king to kill him, so the Israeli king can evade the ambush from the enemies(II Kings 6:8-10). Likewise, God will also reveal to us the schemes/traps from the enemies, how they want to destroy and take captives the people of God and how they want to destroy our future generations.

Due to the fact that many people don’t usually pay attention to the international affairs, they don’t know how to intercede for the nations. Here we want to pinpoint the schemes of the enemies so that we can pray for the nations according to God’s will. Like in the book of Ezekiel chapter 8, how God reveals to Ezekiel that the Israeli were worshiping idols. In the book of Revelation chapter 2 and 3, John had been revealed by the spiritual conditions of the 7 churches, among which 5 need to repent. We pray that Jehovah the almighty Captain of the hosts will reveal to us how to pray for the nations accordingly to His will. Testimonies from the Church of Brunei

Over the years Muslims in Brunei have cast spells and performed voodoo magic on people to put them in their controls. In 2010, the Muslims of Brunei used sorcery and witchcraft to attack the churches through traffic accidents. During that time there were numerous traffic accidents that caused fatalities and injuries to the church ministers. (There was a dividing gap within the church to give the enemy room to attack.) God revealed to a missionary in a dream regarding these Satanic attacks. God sent this missionary to Brunei to call the Brunei church to rise up to build prayer altars. Seven churches responded to the call. Each one of these churches were responsible for prayers for seven days. Within these seven days, they not only prayed for their own church, but also watched and prayed for the other churches. When they prayed in unity, God fought back all the attacks from the enemy and protected them. These churches continue to pray for a year. The church witnessed an ease of preaching the gospel. More and more people came to believe in Jesus during this season.

A year later, the sorcerers of Brunei also joined force to start another wave of attack. This attack became like a tornado to one of the churches in Selapon. Across the street from this church were a Muslim mosque and Muslim residences. Before the tornado hit this area, the Muslim priests would enter the church to persecute the Christians, to threaten to tear down the church and to imprison the elders of the church. When the tornado swept through the area, most of the trees were blown down. However, due to the covering of the prayer altars in unity and the personal prayers of the elders, brothers and sisters of this Selapon church, the church building was spared from damage from an almost completed uprooted tree in front of it. Yet, the tornado hit directly onto the Muslim mosque and its adjacent Muslim residences. The roofs from their houses were blown away and the wall of the Muslim priest’s house was also damaged. Yet, there was not any damage to the Christian church and their homes. During the tornado, the Muslim priest and the Muslim believers cried out to the elders of the church, “Can we come over to have shelter from the tornado?” After this incident, the Muslim priests along with the Muslim believers saw the power of God. They no longer threatened to demolish the church and even allowed them to worship freely as long as they did not bring in speakers from out of the region.

However, the united prayer altars discontinued after one year. Two years later, the Sharia Law entered Brunei. We need to pray earnestly for Brunei.

We believe Christians from all over the world will be persecuted by the anti-Christ as written in the Bible. The challenge for Christians at the present time is the defilement of homosexuality and the persecution from Islam. We need to join our hearts together to pray for the souls of the homosexuals and Muslims.

Dear Abba Father,

Today, we enter the 12th day of prayer and fasting. We thank You, Father, for giving us the opportunity to seek You earnestly during this time. Help us seek You with our whole heart and with faith believing Your words in Hebrew 11:6 and “seek and you shall find.” Let us lay down our unbelief and believe fully Your words: “The eyes of the Lord runs to and fro throughout the whole earth, to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9).” How You delight to strengthen us as You strengthened the saints of old (such as Paul, Peter, etc.) to run the heavenly race, until we see You face to face and receive the crown of righteousness. Thank You, Father, how we love You!

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15 (NIV))

Lord, we are grateful for the salvation of your cross, by which you saved us from darkness into God’s Kingdom of light. Thank you for cleansing all our sins and unrighteousness with the blood of the Lamb, making us your holy vessels, clothing us with priestly robes, and leading us into eternal life!

Lord, please forgive us our love for the world and the things of the world. We do not have the true love for the Father in us. We draw near to you with our mouths, honor you with our lips, but are hearts are far from you. We are not mindful of the things you care about. Instead, we are lured by selfish desires, pursuing the vanity of the world such as power, wealth, pleasure, and indulgence. In us is found partiality, self-centeredness, self-righteousness, indifference, carelessness, fear of men but no fear of God. We have deviated from the Truth, making us no different from secular people. We plead for your mercy and forgiveness.

Lord, cleanse us, cover us, deliver us, and renew us by your blood. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we renounce the desires of the flesh and all sin and bondage. Holy Spirit, rekindle our hunger for God’s Word, empower us to live out divine virtues, and release Kingdom values in us. Help us to be obedient to the Holy Spirit, to grow spiritually in love for the Lord and for one another, and to take up our cross to follow Jesus. Myanmar

[Social Conditions: Myanmar is a Buddhist country located in Indochina. It used to be a gateway to Indian Peninsula and China. 90% of the population is Buddhists, 5% adopts primitive religions, and the rest believes in Protestant Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, or Islamism. Even though it has more abundant natural resources than other Southeast Asian countries, it remains one of the poorest countries in the world after the dominion of a military government for over 50 years.

Converting to Other Religions is Betrayal

Buddhism dominates in this country and is closely related to its culture, with most of the Burmese being Buddhists. It is dangerous for anyone to even wish to convert to other religions because he will be considered a traitor. Similarly, a Muslim or one who believes in animism will be punished if he abandons the religion handed down from family ancestors, and he will face oppression to coerce them to remain in the old religion. Rohingya Christians who are converted to Christians are awfully despised and face much oppression.

Powerful Military Troops

Myanmar having been ruled by a military government for a long time, the military sector is still very powerful in this country despite the democratic government now in place. Many important government positions are being held by military officers. The government also take advantage of the Buddhist patriotism to reach its political goals. In addition to the widespread news about the Rohingya refugees, the Burmese troops wage wars with rebels in Kachin State and Shan State, where many Christians live. Civil wars make many people lose their homes, yet the military sector would not allow any humanitarian reliefs to be offered to Christians.

Christians Being Harassed in Villages

Some Buddhist villages would not allow Christians to live there. The residents also harass Christians until they leave. Even those Christians who stay are being harassed and threatened because they don’t donate to the monks, contribute for repairs and maintenance of Buddhist temples, nor participate in Buddhist festivals. Churches are being monitored, church leaders and pastors are often attacked by radical Buddhists, and by so doing the government wishes to paralyze churches.

The military government used to try to destroy Christianity, which it nicknamed the “C Virus”. But the faith continued to spread. Christians are usually excluded from power and influence. Military operations against Christian minorities have been well publicized, and more than 3,000 Christian villages have been burned in the past 10 years. The church is not registered and is therefore considered illegal and harassed. The expulsion of foreign Christian workers in 1966 made a young church to respond alone, without mature leadership or infrastructure. Adversity, persecution and isolation have helped shape a resilient and lasting belief among the Christians. ]

Pray for the people of Burma: May the Lord save the souls of the people of Burma and let the light of God to shine on these Buddhists so that they can know the Most High God, receive salvation, and experience the richness in Jesus Christ.
Pray for Burmese Christians: Abba Father, May the Holy Spirit pour Your love in the hearts of Your children in Burma, so that they are deeply rooted in the truth and love, endure the affiliation to the end, and rejoice in anticipation of the hope and glory of God. Stir them up to serve the persecuted ethnic minorities such as the Rohingya Muslims in love, and forgive the Buddhists who persecuted them, so that many people would turn their hearts to Christ and their country and society would be transformed. May the Lord make all the donated necessities be delivered to these Christians. In the name of the Lord, we declare that all harassment, intimidation, and attacks against Christians must stop. All Christian villages are to be guarded by God, and the state’s policies are beginning to open to Christians.
Pray for the persecuted ethnic groups : Ask God to give peace and hope to these persecuted groups, so that they would know God through suffering. Pray that all ethnic groups would live in peace. Pray especially for the Rohingya people that God would protect their lives. May the Lord start working on the situation so that all wars and turmoil would calm down as soon as possible, that He stop the Evil One from continuing to destroy and injure many innocent people, so that they may return home.
Pray for the unity of Burmese churches: May God raise up churches that are strong and courageous and not terrified, being bold in preaching the gospel and leading people to the Lord in loyalty unto death. May God grant the unity among the Burmese churches so that they are united in setting up a prayer altar, to demolish strongholds and bring forth the transformation of the nation.
Pray for the military officers and the government officials: May the Lord save Burmese military officers and the government officials , so that they may solve political problems and continue the open policies, exploit the abundant natural resources the Lord has given them, so that their economy improves for them to enjoy abundance.
Pray for President Win Myint: Abba Father, we pray that You appear to him and manifest Yourself so that he knows that You are the only true God, that Christ is the only Savior and the only Way. This nation has been persecuting Christians for a long time. They burn churches and build Buddhist towers. May You turn his heart to Lord Jesus and let Your truth abide in him. Help him to seek You in humility, Lord, give him wisdom and a steadfast spirit within him, so that he could lead the government officials, the nation and the people to repent and turn to You, abolishing all sins. May the churches be rebuilt and expanded; may the Burmese swamp to the churches and the nation is transformed, and may its economy grow and expand. The world shall see how a nation fearing God is being abundantly blessed by You.

Cambodia

[ Historical background: Cambodia is an ancient nation in Indochina. It has over 2000 years of history, and The Angkor dynasty， the the predecessor state to modern Cambodia appeared from the 9th century to 15th century, is a powerful nation with great cultural significance. In the 70s, during the reign of Khmer Rouge (Cambodian communists), extreme left-wing terror tactics has caused the death of over a fifth of the national population through starvation, hard labor, disease and torture etc, causing the bloodiest human disaster in mid-20th century. In 1993, new constitution was passed through the constitutional assembly, and restored the kingdom reign and national name of Kingdom of Cambodia, causing the nation to enter into a new period of peace and development. Cambodia’s official religion is Buddhism, with the majority being Buddhists.

Society Background

Cambodia is one of the least developed and poorest nation in Asia. Recent years has seen political stability, and has successfully attracted investments from China, Japan, Korea etc, causing it to be one of the most popular new investment hot spots in South-East Asia. Due to economic inequality, the problems of human trafficking and child prostitution are severe. In the last 10 years, child sex-slavery has been markedly reduced, however the human-trafficking methods have adapted to go deeper underground, and even more cross-border and attracted more online pedophiles, and this has brought new challenges.

Church Background

After the Khmer Rouge ethnic cleansing, Cambodia has very few Christian survivors. Yet, in recent years, the Cambodian church has been in rapid growth. There are now churches in the majority of the cities, towns and social centers, although gospel publications are few. The churches are very young, passionate and strong on missions and evangelism. Discipleship and leadership training is a great challenge.

Although the number of believers are increasing nonstop, but the lack of spiritual quality and depth causes many to leave the faith when facing difficulties, and unable to commit to Christ strongly. Today in the Jarai people, there are a sizable number of Christians, but in the other tribes and farm area, there are still no witness of the gospel. Besides, the finances brought in by foreign missions organizations has caused some negative problems, causing many churches to rely on external support, and abuse the foreign financial funds, and brought hindrance to the growth of local churches to self-sufficiency and self-management. ]

Pray for the Cambodian people: We ask the Holy Spirit to rend the heavens, for Holy Spirit to move powerfully among the Cambodian Buddhists, saving their souls, ignite their hearts, and remove all deception and blindness.
Pray for the Cambodian church: God please bring revival to the Cambodian churches, strengthen the hearts of the believers, cause them to be rooted in the truth, and not be shaken by hardships. We ask You to raise up God-fearing church leaders and disciples who love the Lord, grant them wisdom and courage, obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit, and preach the gospel widely to the other tribes and farmland, to win souls for the Lord.
Pray for the government and military of Cambodia: Please save the souls of the government officials and military officers of Cambodia. Please raise up upright leaders who are able to combat greed and corruption bravely. Grant them wisdom and strategies to release Cambodia from corruption and rottenness, poverty, violence and enter into the rule of law, peace, wealth and abundance. Pray for the enslaved and the oppressed in Cambodia: Abba Father, You are a God who cares for the poor and the oppressed, and a God who defend the weak. We declare in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ that the men, women and children prostitutes who are enslaved and trafficked to be released into freedom. We ask You to rise up governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as other Christian ministries to go against human-trafficking, give them love and mercy from God, as well as wisdom and strategies to release, heal and bring freedom to enslaved and the oppressed.

The strategies for Muslims to expand are:

Through charities: For instance, the Malaysian government would provide incentives to the poor aboriginals to convert to Islam by giving them land, money, subsidies and benefits.

The children will study the Koran at a young age and become mystified with lies and confusions therein. In other countries, the Koran is being taught privately or publicly. Public beheading or hanging (such as what ISIS does).
Slavery: Female captives becom sex slaves; population trafficking.]

Then the angel of the Lord told her, “Go back to your mistress and submit to her.” The angel added, “I will so increase your descendants that they will be too numerous to count.” The angel of the Lord also said to her: “You are now with child and you will have a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.” She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.” (Genesis 16:7-13).

And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. (Genesis 17:20).

Father God we pray:

You promised to bless the descendants of Ishmael and You would do it according to Your own word. You love every soul and wish the whole world to be saved and no one would perish. You desire even more for the wicked to turn from their wicked way. May God who watches over people will begin to speak to the descendants of Ishmael. We hope more Muslims will return to Jesus Christ because there is no name other than the name of Jesus given to us by which we should be saved. Meanwhile, we cry out to You fervently for the Muslim terrorists, that You would forgive them of their unrighteousness, that You would open their eyes which have been veiled by Satan, that you would remove from them the spirit of violence, cruelty and indifference, so that the devil would loosen his grips on this religious group. Father God, fill up the Muslim nations with Your mercy, grace and kindness. Shine Your light into the darkest spots in the hearts of the Muslims. May Your mercy triumph over judgement, so that they turn their hearts and minds to Jesus Christ, no longer being controlled by the dark forces. May God set free from the bondage those people having suffered in this religion and those souls having been persecuted. Heal the heart and soul of everyone who has been hurt by this religion; forgive and have mercy on these Muslim nations. May the blood of Jesus cover heavily these nations. May Jesus Christ receive the souls. The fire of revival of the Holy Spirit will burn in the Muslim countries and in every Muslim family. In the name of Jesus, we declare there will be groups and groups of Muslims who will repent and reconcile with You, with Israel, and with Christians! May the name of Jesus prevail and overcome again and again!

Pray for the Wild Fires in Canada

[In the news: Since April 1, 1,502 fires have started, burning 101,000 hectares. There are 2,700 personnel fighting the fires. Firefighting efforts have cost the province $131 million so far. There are 465 fires burning across B.C. with the danger rating risen to ‘high’ or ‘extreme’ in virtually every part of the province, many of the first nation reservations have been seriously affected by the wild fire. Please pray especially for the following areas:

Telegraph Creek reserve of the Tahltan Nation – the fire destroyed many buildings & residents were evacuated to Dease Lake 2 days ago but now they have to evacuate that area because fires are going that way
.California Torrez Martinez reservation of Desert Cahuilla Tribe had residents evacuated because of fire a couple of weeks ago.
Alaska, there are many reservations in the Tok region & there are fires there. ]

Abba Father,

Exodus 19:18 Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently.

You sent fire upon the mountain, to shake many Mountains in Canada, may Your awesome Glory shake the hearts of the people! Bring forth the fear of the Lord so the people and the First Nations of Canada will tremble before the mountain that is on fire, to humble and bow down before You, to be convicted by sin, righteousness and judgement. By Your mercy raise up the intercessors to watch and pray for the First Nation reservations.

Confess our sins and repent: Father God please forgive the rebellion of Canada by legalizing same-sex marriage and marijuana. Raise up the church to begin to pray for our cities, states, nation, to stand in the gap and repent, to ask for peace. Please forgive all the things that is not pleasing to You in the first nation reservations, send down the spirit of repentance, to remove every idols, and to worship the one and only true God.
God’s protection: Lord, watch and keep the firefighters and helpers, send the angelic host to camp around them to protect them, so that they will not be harmed. Please give them and government officials wisdom and strategies in order to extinguish these fires effectively and speedily
Provide their every need: You are Jehovah Jireh, God that provides every need. May You use the churches and Ministries as channels of Your abundance resources, to help provide the need of the victims of Fire in materials as well as spiritual needs, so they can personally experience the grace of God.
Shower down Your mercy rain: Send Your mercy rain to extinguish all the fire and water the heart of the people
Pray for the First Nation Gathering from August 24th to 26 at Saskatoon: “Welcoming the Kng of Glory” : Ask God to release the presence of God and the worship anointing , to raise up the first born of the land, the First Nations. Re-dig this ancient well, so the water will come up, to well up! Let the wave of Revival come to this nation like never before.

[This year is Israel’s 70^th anniversary but the Israeli government allows the Gay Pride Parade in eight Israeli cities between June 8^th till August 2^nd and the finale of the parade took place in Jerusalem on August 2^nd. This has opened a huge gap for the enemy. When Israel celebrates the founding of the nation 70 years ago, Satan enticed the Israeli people to enter into demonstrations promoting homosexuality, to sin against God and to provoke His indignation, so that surrounding enemies may take the chance to attack Israel. Its ultimate purpose is to block and thwart God’s plan to bring His divine calling and destiny for Israel to fullness, especially at such a season when Israel enters her 70^th year of establishment. but our God is victorious. Let us join us to pray for Israel and believe that God will completely turn Israel around and regain lost ground.]

Ask God to forgive the Israeli government for allowing gay parades throughout Israel
May God give Israel the spirit of repentance and save the souls of Israelites
Let the fire of the Holy Spirit continue to cleanse Israel, especially the places where the parades have passed by and the hearts of the people in those cities. May God have mercy on Israel, and rid Israel of the defilement caused by the gay parades, both on the land and on people’s heart

Praying for the Turmoil of Gaza-the border。

[In the news: 8/9 Hamas fired more than 150 rockets into the Israeli Gaza border residential areas; there were some injuries in Israel. Israel also retaliated with rockets at 140 Hamas’ military locations in Gaza. The long-term cease-fire negotiations between the two sides was interrupted. Hamas said the move was in retaliation for Israel’s assassination of its members and the blockade of the Gaza Strip. Iran has expressed its support and will do everything in its power to support Palestinian resistance to Israel. The Israeli military said that the Hamas attack on Israel is still under Iranian manipulation. Israel does not rule out retaliation against Iran.

At least 150 rockets have fallen into Israel, and the country’s “Iron Dome” anti-missile system has intercepted at least 11 incoming rockets. Although the interception rate is much lower than expected, the Israeli military said it’s big. Some rockets have fallen into the open space, so the iron scorpion anti-missile system will not intercept these targets. ]

Pray for the Israeli residents of the Gaza border and nearby: May God show His mercy upon the lives of the Israelites on the Gaza border and minimize the disaster.
Pray for the Muslim people in Gaza: Ask God’s salvation to come to the innocent people, and let them know the one true God of the supremacy.
Pray for the Israeli government: Pray for God to pray for the humble spirit, touch the heart of Netanyahu, and lead the people of the country to fast and pray to seek the king of Joshua, as in 20 Chronicles of the Chronicles, to lead all Israel together. To seek God’s help and salvation, to give wisdom and peace to the
Israeli government, to immediately stop Hamas attacks and prevent the expansion of war.
Ask God to awaken the people of Gaza to rise up against Hamas – one of the evil leaders who control Gaza.
Ask God to cutoff the connection of thedark power between Hamas and Iran.

Pray For Iran – Israel’s Greatest Enemy

[Background: The state of Iran is still the archenemy of Israel, which also exert control over the Hezbollah, the Assad regime in Syria and Hamas, to name a few. Iran is beginning a major naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz, which is a control point of the waterway into the Persian Gulf, affecting many countries other than Iran. This has triggered an announcement from the US to begin naval exercise in the nearby region. Any attempt to close up the Strait of Hormuz is effectively a declaration of war. The Israeli response is to declare that she will react strongly against any such attempts to close off the Red Sea, which is a strategic waterway through which southern Israel gain access to all the oceans. In the meantime, due to economic problems and anti-government protests, internal instability is building up in Iran.]

We ask God to help Israel stay vigilant, and respond prudently to each action that Iran is taking.
Grant wisdom to Israeli and American military leaders, so that they would be able to discern and respond sensibly to what Iran is doing and expressing in public. (Proverbs 8:14-16)
Shake the political leadership of Iran.
Break the bow of Elam: according to God’s promise, may the bow of Elam be broken, and the kings and princes be destroyed.
Break the links of Iran with Hezbollah and Hamas: may the Lord use internal uprisings to break the links of Iran with Hezbollah and Hamas.
Raising up churches in Iran: use the thriving church in Iran to cause the nation to steer away from the current evil path.
Pray that God strengthens the Christian brothers and sisters in Iran: Lord, we pray that the peace that transcends all understanding and pure joy in times of trials will fill them up with hope through the Holy Spirit. Cause them to know that God is sovereign and is in full control. He is in the process of shaking, demolishing and restraining. God is establishing for Himself His throne and stronghold in Iran. Pray that God supernaturally meets both the spiritual and physical needs of the brothers and sisters in Iran according to His faithfulness.
