40 Weeks Pray for the Revival of  Europe 

2/11/2019- 12/31/2019

” Revival of Europe ” ministry is calling countries in Europe to pray, earnestly looking to see revival come upon Europe, for the younger generation to come forth, and turn the tide of the gospel in Europe. Each week they will focus on one country in prayer, and recommend to fast one day in a week. From December 27th to December 31st, the “Revival Europe” conference will be held in City of Karlsruhe to bring together young people between the ages of 18 and 30 in Europe to pray for the European Revival.

This 40-week prayer campaign for European countries was launched on February 11. Student representatives from various countries are seeking the Lord as to how to intercede for the country. They will make a 1 minute video and share how to win back their country to God. Here are a few of the national videos that have been made:

Pray for Italy

But today Italy strives to move to make a change.The population of Italy is approximately 60 million people, and the evangelicals are only 1.2%. The evangelical church is small and divided. Many Italians worship idols, and the society in Italy is becoming more secular.Catholic culture is widespread in societyItaly is the nation with the most Catholic church buildings in the world, and having a rich and impressive architecture. 【PRAYER】

  • Alternative confession for Catholic believers: Heavenly Father, we confess our sins before Your throne of grace, forgiving us for  worshipping idols and Santa Maria, and to participate in the sins of magic and psychics. We admit that our hearts are far away from You, only look at the glamorous appearance of the Catholic Church, and did not humble ourselves to seek the face of this one and only true and living God. Father God,  help us to think of the things above, not the things of the earth ( Colossians 3:2) . God, through Your servant give them right teaching so that they can know the truth, discern between true and false, right or wrong, reject lies, deception, be rooted and grounded in truth and love, personally experience the Lord Jesus and turn the Catholic believers around to become follower of Jesus Christ.
  • Pray for the Evangelical Church and believers in Italy : God, please forgive the Italian evangelical church, so that the church can repent in time and turn away from the evils of pride, division, secularization and idolatry. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus rend the heaven and come down, set the church on fire, awaken  the the church with new anointing, to passionately follow Jesus, with one heart, and one way establish an altar of prayer, and stand in the gap for the country. Cry out for God to save them, day and night, to completely transform Italy. Father God, raise up more intercessors, to labor and pray for the revival of Europe, connect the global body of bride of Christ, and prepare for the coming of the Lord Jesus.
  • Pray for the government of Italy: Heavenly Father, please forgive the corruption and bureaucratic sins of the Italian government, and give them wisdom, strategy, justice, and the fear of the Lord. Raise up righteous government, have mercy and support the poor, orphans and widows, balance between the rich and the poor, to solve the problems at home and abroad, and the establish godly laws and regulations, save the soul of government officials, lead the heart of people back to You. Break all the curses off the country, cut off the extreme fascist spirit from the government, remove the wrong association of the special interest group and the power of the president, eliminate the hatred between the parties, and replace with forgiveness, reconciliation and peace.

  • Raise up more young generations in Italy: Abba Father, pray for young people who have not yet believed in the Lord. Pray for Norway  

【Background:  Population: 5.5 M; Evangelical: 8.4%; Norway is a highly developed capitalist country and one of the richest countries in the world, member of NATO.. Currently, not a member of the European Union and does not use the euro.  Although Norway is one of the most desirable countries to live in the world, yet it is the country with the highest annual suicide rate. Alcohol and drug abuse problems are very serious. Loneliness, insecurity and xenophobia are common; Norway was one of the countries sent out the most missionaries,  although 90% of Norwegians are Christians, but only 4% attend church.

Pray for France

【Background:Population: 65.7M, freedom, equality, friendliness, are values ​​cherished by the French, but no longer reflected in new laws and society. Muslims are growing rapidly, and France is a hedonistic, spiritual desert. The marriage system of young people collapses, advocates cohabitation,not consider giving birth as important, but Islam multiply greatly in their child birth,  The rate of Islam is growing at an unprecedented rate.

In Paris, France, many places suffered terrorist attacks associated with ISIS. The surge in anti-Semitism in France is in great need of attention. Although France is located in the geographical, political and social center of Western Europe, but according to the WIN/Gallup International Poll, the French Christian population accounts for only 1% of European Christians and is the fourth most global atheist population, only Less than China, Japan and the Czech Republic. After the formal adoption of the same-sex marriage law in France in 2013, the people held two large-scale demonstrations of anti-homosexual marriage and anti-surrogate in February and October 2014 with between 50,000 and 80,000 people. We pray that France can restore back to a place that magnify the value of Christian family, constitution, and working environment.

The French yellow vest movement was a French protest movement that began on November 17, 2018. The protest movement spread to Europe and even to many countries and regions around the world. At first it was a peaceful demonstration by the people because they were dissatisfied with the government’s policies. Later, violent right-wing and ultra-left groups infiltrated into the riots, causing serious conflict with the riot police. They attacked security forces and challenged national authorities. Although French President Emmanuel Macron has stopped the oil fuel tax of the people, it is unable to stop the dissatisfaction of the people. Since the 12/1 last year, there have been yellow vest demonstrations every week. The French government has mobilized more than 80,000 police officers throughout the country to protect against riots. The 9th event (1/12th) has recently spread from the big cities of Paris to central France. 【Background : Population: 2.9M, Evangelical: 1.4%.
