We have been talking about Daniel 2:20-21, which says God changes the times and seasons. Many prophetic believers are confident this is occurring and that we are experiencing a divine shift into a time of great harvest. God does not create these shifts based on a whim or when He “finally decides” it’s time to do something. The God who sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) never has to finally decide to do anything. He is a God of precision and order, purpose and design; He does nothing without strategic intent.

Declaration Prayer: Declare for Transformation and Recapture of Sovereignty

Editor’s note : This declaration is adapted from the declaration received by D. Steve Ford in 2012 and again made by Ricci, one of the leaders of Joel’s army. Steve heard the Lord say, “Tell the people that it is now time to take dominion over several areas and to remind them that He has already given us that Dominion. To exercise dominion, you must first speak to the elements and tell them what they are to do.

Proclaim in the Name of Jesus Christ:

• We take dominion over the earth, the soil, the microbes in the soil and command them to begin the natural healing process given to them in their creation.

  • We command the cleansing process to accelerate in them and to restore the air,the water, the seas, and the soil to return to its natural order.
  • We Command the microbes in the oceans to fulfill their purpose in the cleansing of the waters and the seas.  They shall begin to heal from pollution and from the oil and radiation..
  • I order that the elements in the ocean, air, upper atmosphere, and dry land will be renewed and returned to the cycle and order given by God.

  • We command the beginning of the purification cycle on the earth, and let the old past and the new come.
  • We command the kingdom of plants, the kingdom of microorganisms, to begin to grow and multiply in the natural order created by God.
  • We command all the seeds given by God to begin to flourish and multiply.
  • We order hybrid seeds and plants to neutralize all the side effects that are toxic to the soil and water sources, and all of them will be reduced and wiped out.
  • We order the magnetic field on the earth to return to the strength and position given to you in the first place, and to stay at your strength and position.
  • All elements must be aligned and established again, in the foundation of the earth.
  • The supernatural multiplication must begin in our lives, in agriculture, in the soil, in the groundwater. Rainwater and water sources that nourish the earth and clean air will also begin to multiply.
  • We order all elements in nature to return to their natural order.
  • We summon the biological systems in the plant kingdom, animal kingdom, and microbial kingdom to return to their equilibrium order.
• As children of God, we must also regain our sovereignty,
  • We command our physical, natural, spiritual and spiritual health to return to its order.
  • The kingdom of heaven will begin to manifest again on earth.
  • We order the DNA in people and all children to return to the original mode of creation.
  • We order the DNA to send out the appropriate signals that the body must return to its optimal level of health.

Declaration Prayer: Pray for President Trump and His Team

We declare in the name of Jesus :

• God will bless and fully protect President Trump, his family, and the team that continues to work with him.
• God will cover them with the blood of Jesus, break any witchcraft and curses that attack them, save them from all evil, away from all temptations, keep them safe in and out, and be physically and mentally healthy. ( Isaiah 54:17 )
• The seven spirits of God will be more manifest in President Trump’s life ( Isaiah 11:1-3 ), making him quite the stature of Christ.

Declaration Prayer: Proclamation for the New United States

We Declare in the Name of Jesus :

• Trump is still the current president of the Republic.

• The original  Constitution of 1776 Reinstated

• The Corp. America of 1871 Broken without remedy!

• The evil plans of the Vatican be exposed and dismantled.

• The illegal control of bankers will be defunct.

• Washington, DC will be returned to the new U.S. federal government.

• The corruption of deep state and shadow governments and their minions in the United States and around the world must be revealed. God will reveal Himself to the world through judgment, uphold justice, and overthrow all lawlessness.

They believe You are building a glorious Ekklesia. You have given us the keys of Your kingdom, to bind and loose, forbid and allow for You on the earth. We are growing in this faith – going from faith to faith. We are also growing in revelation, enabling us to discern what needs to occur and the timing of Your plans. And as we stake our claim to this truth, we are determined to say what You say. You have said revival is here and coming. We agree with You. We will not agree with the media. We won’t agree with dictatorships. We will not agree with lying governments. We will honor no contrary circumstances. You have said America shall be saved!

  • Ekklesia Church’s faith in God will increase! The heavenly council must rise, release truth, and release the sound of righteousness!

  • The First Nation people will take up the authority over the land and break the curse of disintegrating the land and all darkness. The land will produce new wine and oil, and bring a hundredfold harvest.
  • The First Nation people will restore their status as the eldest sons of the land, enter the destiny and calling given to them by God, lead all ethnic groups, and initiate the great revival of the United States!

I had a dream where I was carrying a very large billboard and I placed it in a strategic place where many would see the declaration written upon it.

The Lord had written on this billboard “THE SARAH’S ARE ARISING”. In the dream as I looked at the billboard the sense surrounded me strongly of the story of Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 18 where Abraham has the encounter with the “three men”/the Lord and they tell him they would return to him about the same time next year and Sarah would have a son. While this is going on Sarah is listening and at this point they are both very old and Sarah was really past the age of having a child. So what does Sarah do? She laughs!

Verse 12 of Genesis 18 says “So she laughed silently to herself and said “How could a worn-out woman like me enjoy such pleasure, especially when my master – my husband is so old?”

The story goes on in verse 13-14 where the Lord says to Abraham “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say “Can an old woman like me have a baby? Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son”

THE LORD IS REVEALING UNBELIEF AND RELEASING A DIVINE INJECTION OF FAITH AND HOPE

In this dream, there was a real highlight on the part of the story where Sarah laughed. (verse 12) The sense in the dream was that the Lord was exposing unbelief and exposing “limited thinking” and as His daughters press deeper into intimacy and repentance of unbelief and limited thinking, He is bringing them into a new level of faith and hope in Him as the God who CAN DO ANYTHING!!! There is a SIGNIFICANT UPGRADE of FAITH and HOPE that He is releasing right now. It’s COMPLETELY SUPERNATURAL!!! He is increasing SIGHT, FAITH and CONVICTION in His daughters to NOT LOOK at the natural, to look PAST the natural and IMPOSSIBILITIES and look to Him, the God who can do ANYTHING and DEFIES the natural.

I also felt the Lord is working deeply in bringing healing to the hearts and souls of His daughters that have been struggling with disappointment, hurts and hope deferred over long awaited promises not yet coming to pass.

THE SARAH’S ARE ARISING WITH GREAT JOY AND AN IMPARTATION TO RELEASE THE REVELATION OF HEBREWS 11:11

As the dream went on I felt a “TURNING” on Sarah laughing. I felt there was a turning happening from the place where many daughters have felt that “laughter of doubt or unbelief” of almost “How is this ever going to happen? Really, God? Is this really going to happen for me?” to a LAUGHTER OF JOY in His promise and the MANIFESTATION of His miracle in their life.

I heard Hebrews 11:11 over and over again..

“”Sarah’s faith embraced the miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and was past the age of childbearing, for the authority of her faith rested in the One who made the promise, and she tapped into His faithfulness.” (Hebrews 11:11 – The Passion Translation)

There is a JOY that is going to be released to the “Sarah’s” right now as they “tap into His faithfulness”. As they put their faith in WHO HE IS.. the GOD WHO CAN DO ANYTHING!!!!!!

“The Lord kept His Word and did for Sarah EXACTLY what He had promised. She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened just at the time God said it would and Abraham named their son Isaac…” (Genesis 18:1-3)

And Sarah declared “GOD HAS BROUGHT ME LAUGHTER!!! ALL who hear about this WILL LAUGH WITH ME!!!!!!!!” (Genesis 18:6)

The enemy and circumstances have been attempting to ABORT what God is conceiving in His daughters right now and the MANIFESTATION of the MIRACLES and IMPOSSIBILITIES BOWING IN their life and THROUGH their life.

Keep your eyes on Him daughters of God, tap into His faithfulness for EXACTLY what He has promised you is ABOUT TO COME TO PASS and at the EXACT TIME HE SAID IT WOULD!!!!!

Sarah’s you are NOW ARISING and you will arise with your mouth FULL OF LAUGHTER, your “womb” full of the FRUITFULNESS of the Lord and ANY BARRENNESS in the natural is being HEALED and OVERCOME NOW in Jesus name.

You will not only be FULL of JOY and LAUGHTER, through what God is doing in and through you and your miracle and impossibilities bowing and the SUDDEN TURNING releasing the supernatural power and manifest promises of God, you will RELEASE IMPARTATIONS OF JOY TO OTHERS!!!! OTHERS will LAUGH and REJOICE WITH YOU and IMPARTATIONS OF FAITH will be released THROUGH YOU to others for their miracle!!!

SARAH’S YOU ARE NOW TAKING YOUR PLACE!

There is a VERY STRATEGIC PLACE for you right now MIGHTY SARAH’S!! God is increasing your faith IN your journey, FILLING you with hope EVEN WHEN it looks impossible and the BIRTHING of your promise that is about to be SEEN is going to see you POSITIONED to bring a corporate SHIFT in the body of Christ to a HIGHER LEVEL of FAITH to believe in the One who can DO ANYTHING!!!

Sarah’s what you are walking through and about to birth is extremely STRATEGIC for what the Lord is doing right now…

Daughters of God, Sarah’s.. You are about to see a MIRACULOUS CONCEPTION and BIRTHING of God in your life MARKED with the glorious testimony of Hebrews 11:11 and the visible manifestation of Zechariah 4:6…

“It is not by force nor by strength, but by My Spirit, says the Lord”

Jesus has GOT THIS!!!! It’s going to be ALL HIM!!!!!!

Daughters of God, you’re about to LAUGH with JOY in His miraculous conception and birthing, like you have NEVER LAUGHED BEFORE!

We have been talking about Daniel 2:20-21, which says God changes the times and seasons. Many prophetic believers are confident this is occurring and that we are experiencing a divine shift into a time of great harvest. God does not create these shifts based on a whim or when He “finally decides” it’s time to do something. The God who sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10) never has to finally decide to do anything. He is a God of precision and order, purpose and design; He does nothing without strategic intent.

When it concerns harvest, God’s timing is determined by several things: the spiritual atmosphere of a region; the time it takes to prepare the hearts of a generation, both at individual and corporate levels; and the readiness of His reapers, the church. Since it is His will that none perish, He is always ready to save. It is the decisions and hearts of people that dictate when He can do so.

In Elijah’s day, God wanted to turn the hearts of Israel away from Jezebel’s influence long before He was able to do so. It took years of Elijah’s prophesying, a devastating drought, a power encounter that exposed the powerlessness of Baal, and 12-13 more years of work raising up Elijah’s successors. Only then was Jezebel fully overthrown. The timing of awakening is not determined only by what God wants!

We, the church, are an important part of this timing. This is why Jesus said on one occasion that the harvest was great but the laborers were few. He followed this by saying “…pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers” (Matthew 9:37-38). He tells us to ask because this is how He works on earth. He needs humans, whom He gave authority over the earth, to ask Him (see Ezekiel 22:30-31). He does not work in spite of people but through people. As profound as it seems, the God of the universe needs us! I took the first four chapters of my book, Intercessory Prayer, to teach on why prayer is necessary. If you don’t feel that you understand this, it would be a helpful read.

Because of this partnership, Holy Spirit is always working in the church and the world simultaneously to prepare for a harvest season. Going from revelation to revelation and faith to faith (as we have spoken of in the last two posts) is not just to mature us for individual growth and fruitfulness; it is also to prepare us for Holy Spirit’s next phase of activity on earth. As we increase in our level of maturity and understanding of His ways, He can use us to accomplish more and more for and with Him. As you can see, several factors affect the timing of God‘s shifts in the earth and in our lives.

We have looked at Proverbs 4:18 and Romans 1:17 as part of the divine shift. Another verse that mentions the phases of our spiritual maturing process is 2 Corinthians 3:18: “But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”

In order to truly understand this verse, it must be looked at in light of Adam’s fall. God made Adam and Eve – and in them the entire human race – in His image and likeness. The word “image” (tselem) in Genesis 1:26 comes from a word meaning “to shade.” Tselem means “a shadow, illusion or phantom.” We were created so much like God that it was illusionary! The word “likeness” (demuwth) is from the Hebrew word meaning “to compare.” Adam and Eve were comparable to God! Amazing. Made in His image and likeness, filled with His spirit, Adam and Eve were as much like God as they could be without being equals. And why not – He was creating family!

Psalms 8:5 says God crowned Adam with glory, which brings us to our text: being transformed from glory to glory. The Hebrew word for glory (kabowd) means “weighty” or “heavy”. The concept is related to authority and influence. Still today we use this concept, saying of individuals who are in charge of a place or situation, “they carry the weight.” We speak of people with great influence as individuals who “carry a lot of weight.” Adam and Eve “carried the weight” on earth; they were in charge. In order to represent Him effectively, God gave them His image and Spirit. When the rest of creation saw Adam and Eve, they saw God in them.

The New Testament word for glory (doxa) also includes the concept of image and likeness. Doxa, literally means “the appearance of a person or thing which causes it to be recognized for what it is.” This does not pertain only to God. The concept of “glorifying” something is acknowledging it for what it really is – it’s beauty, virtue or other distinctives. When we are using it in reference to God, we “glorify” Him because we recognize Him for who He is, which motivates us to honor or worship Him.

When the Bible speaks of humans having or bearing God‘s glory (Psalm 8:5; 1 Corinthians 11:7) it is not speaking of us receiving praise or honor. It is saying we look like Him. He is seen in us. Of course, when Adam and Eve sinned they lost the glory or image of God. He was no longer seen in them. The end result was that pride, rebellion, anger, violence, perversions and many other forms of sin were seen. When we are born again this changes. We receive His image once again in our spirit, and begin a process of transformation outwardly, which allows us to express His image to others – from glory to glory. Obviously, those around us are not to see our personal uniqueness; we want them to see Christ. It is His image we are being conformed into, His glory. We are to bring recognition of Him, not ourselves.

As far as a spiritual harvest is concerned, earth has been in a chronos season for 40 years. During this time, Holy Spirit has worked in the church to produce much change. The apostolic and prophetic anointings of Christ have been restored, worship has matured greatly and many in the church now understand what it means to be Christ’s Ekklesia. He has brought us to a level of maturity that more appropriately glorifies (pictures, reveals) Christ. As the worldwide revival gains momentum, the world will no longer look at us indifferently or with cynicism. They will instead recognize something about us that impresses them – not us, but Jesus. In this process, we have shifted to kairos and are moving toward fullness. The result will be harvest and great revival.

Paul who wrote the verse in 2 Corinthians 3:18 – “transformed…from glory to glory” – understood the process well. After his dramatic conversion, he waited in a chronos season for many years while God was “glorifying” him – making him look like Christ. When the time was right, Holy Spirit caused a divine shift, recorded in Acts 13:1-3, and allowed Paul to reveal Christ to the world.

He wants to do the same with us. As we allow Holy Spirit to transform us, we will look more like Christ and less like ourselves. At each new phase of glory, He can trust us with more authority, influence, and power. And we, like Paul, will be released to show the world a clearer picture of Christ.

Let’s make it happen. Move from glory to glory.

Pray with me:

Father, the world is desperately looking for You, they just don’t know it. We are Your living epistles or letters, Your ambassadors, Christians (“little Christs”). In order to reveal You to the world, You give us Your anointing, gifts, Spirit and, yes, glory. It is our desire that a new level of this representation, a new level of Your glory, will come upon the church. Let the shift occur.

We ask for this in our individual lives in order that we might manifest Your glory at home, work and play. We also ask for it in a corporate sense. Manifest Your glory through signs and wonders. Do so through great deliverances and salvation. Do so through the gifts of Your Spirit.

And manifest Your weighty glory, Your authority, in the government of this nation. Let the full weight of who You are descend on America – her government, education system, media, and every other segment of society. Show us Your glory!

But he always loves Sudan, and now that the political situation has changed and is relaxing on religion, he wants to go back and help the church there the second time.

The State Department website says, “Sudan, dangerous, not recommended to travel.“ When I asked my son, he said, “If God doesn’t want you to go, He will let you know.” I asked my wife, and she said, “Go.” In my Saturday scripture reading, it was (Mt 10:38) “Anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me.” On Sunday morning, I discerned with the church leaders together and they all said, “Go.” One of the co-workers said, “You are Papa Gideon’s spiritual son, if Papa wants you to go, I think you should go.” So on Sunday afternoon, I called Papa Gideon and told him I would go. Tuesday morning, before reading the Bible I asked the Lord again, “Do You have a word?” The scripture reading was (Mt 16:24), “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Just like what I read on Saturday.

The trip to Sudan was like a roller coaster. There was a force behind the scene trying so hard to stop Papa Gideon from going. He sent his passport in for a visa, but the visa was not granted and the passport was not even sent back. The flight was scheduled that night but we still held an emergency prayer meeting at 3 pm. Papa Gideon said, “Don’t have passport but believing I am going.” He also said, “Once you know Him, you can relax.” The passports arrived at 4 pm but no visa! He still had other forms to fill out. When at the airport, while the counter was busy with the forms, they let Papa Gideon go, got on the plane and left Canada, without a visa. When he arrived in London, he couldn’t get on the next flight because he didn’t have a visa, so he stayed overnight to wait for an invitation letter from Sudan. At that most critical moment, Sudan’s internet was down, only in that particular area! Finally the letter arrived, but half of it was blank, and all the necessary signatures were not legible. (There was a great prayer army around the world praying desperately for it!) The lady at the counter went in and out many times, and finally let Papa Gideon go through. The plane finally arrived at Khartoum airport in Sudan via Doha, at which point a visa had to be delivered to the airport for Papa Gideon to enter the country. However, the visa delivery was supposed to arrive at 8 am, but due to traffic, it arrived at 1 pm. Papa Gideon almost ended up in the airport prison to be deported. (I will skip the details…)

The warfare was so intense like that described in the Book of Daniel, the furious work of the demonic Prince of Sudan was being played out before our eyes. Papa Gideon said, “God is looking for people who have faith. Without faith no one can please God.” He also said, “I don’t take no from any man. And if it doesn’t work out, I believe God will have an explanation and one day He will give His accountability to us.”

Papa Gideon has a lot of faith, but my faith was small. I didn’t sleep on the plane. I thought I had to prepare myself in case Papa Gideon really couldn’t make it, then how would I take on this heavy responsibility? And I had no idea what was going on with Sudan. After preparing for a while, I finally decided to give up, because there was no way to prepare. I should just give thanks, rejoice and trust in God. I also thought, “Time to practice love and say a few words of encouragement to the flight attendants. During the meal time I said to the Indian flight attendant in our row, “You’re special, your voice and attitude are beautiful.” She smiled and said, “So are you. Thank you for the kind word, it means a lot.” At the end of the 13-hour flight, she gave me a Qatar Airways pen and said, “You have been reading and writing, I want to bless you with it.”

As soon as we arrived in Sudan, we found out that the scheduled reconciliation for the disunity among the pastors had been canceled, the reason was that the church council who had invited us made a demand of an outrageous amount of money from us, and we refused to abide by his demand, so he cancelled all the programs, including the meetings with the governmental officials and the prime minister on the second week. But Papa Gideon said, “Vengeance belongs to the Lord. I always honor God, the Lord says love your enemies, when I do that, then God will do the rest.”

So we took two days off and met with only three of the most senior and respected fathers in Sudan and told them why we were here and asked them to bless us and welcome us, and that we were willing to submit to their authority. Since we did not have to waste the rest of our time on reconciling the pastors, we were able to focus on the training of 230 young people. The training focused on two points: (1) Two generation walking together will break the curse of Sudan (Mal 4:5-6). (2) The spiritual authority of the prophet’s chamber will determine the outcome of the earthly government and army (2 Kings 13:18-19).

On Sunday afternoon, while giving gifts to the volunteers, the church council person appeared and said he wanted to apologize. Papa Gideon stepped up to honor him, thanked him, gave him gifts, and knelt down and asked him to bless us and welcome us on behalf of the churches in Sudan. His heavy look now turned to smile and he encouraged the young people, saying, “You are the pillars. Youth is the backbone of church, without youth church can not move forward. One day we will be old and leave, but you will continue…” It is so true that vengeance belongs to the Lord, we just honor God and God can make enemies our friends.

After the church council person came to apologize and align with us on Sunday afternoon, that night the 230 young people made salt covenant with the pastor who brought us here, and with one another. Thus we aligned with God and with each other and the night ended at 9:30 pm. More than six hours later, at 4 am Monday morning, a coup d’état took place just five minutes away from our hotel, and the roads and bridges were blocked and schools were closed. Local people said that coups often lasted for months, and they were unable to leave homes, not able to buy groceries, and not having internet access. They were scared. But this time, just a day and a half later, the prime minister announced on television that the rebels had been arrested and that everything was back to normal. It is so true that the spiritual authority of the prophet’s chamber determines the outcome of the government on earth. The spiritual truths that Papa Gideon emphasized were played out right before our eyes and were not just empty words.

We missed class for two days because of the coup so in the hotel we had the opportunity to spend time talking to the pastor who took us here. The first thing we did was to help him establish credibility for the monetary offerings and expenses, and to arrange for someone to watch the books with him. Secondly, he mentioned that he would hold several evangelistic outreaches in several cities after we left. When we heard that, we all said in unison, “No, the most important thing for you is to take care of these young leaders, especially the representatives of the 13 states, and be their father.” Papa Gideon asked him seriously, “What are you trying to accomplish with the two night rally?” After one week with Papa Gideon all his original plans were completely disrupted and he was overwhelmed! Fortunately, he was humble, teachable, and obeyed Papa Gideon, so God spoke to him that night. When he woke up at 4:44 am, he realized, “Let the young people share their disappointment in the pastors and the bitterness in their hearts toward them. But after this week, they have learned that their attitude were wrong and ask the pastors to forgive them and they will wash the feet of the pastors. Then after that we will ask the pastor’s representatives to respond so there will be a true and deep reconciliation. After hearing this, Papa Gdieon said, “Now I am relieved!”

As a result, at the last rally of 1,300 people, three representatives of the young people went up and said, “We were disappointed in the pastors, and even cursed them, praying that God would remove them. But God says honor your parents so that your days on earth will be long. God did not say that only good parents should be honored, so our attitude towards the pastors was wrong please forgive us.” The young people came to the pastors and began to wash the pastors’ feet. The pastors laid hands and prayed for the young people, sometimes they cried together. After the foot washing three pastor representatives also responded, “We felt ashamed. We are busy doing administration in the system and ignored the young people. We are busy in our offices or going here and there and don’t have time for you. We are sorry for all we have done, please forgive us.” At the end, all 1300 attendees were up singing, dancing, and worshiping with joy! Together they declared that Sudan is different! Sudan has a family now! And the pastor, who has loved and prayed for Sudan for 30 years, is now changed from an evangelist to a father! The ministry from now on has a new name, “Sudan Family Journey”!

On this trip to Sudan, I personally had a profound realization: the sermons are completely useless in ministries like this Sudan trip. It is like wartime paper money, a whole bundle of which cannot buy a single piece of bread! What Papa Gideon shared was not sermons, but an overflow of his life. It’s not something that goes in and out of the head. If the food is not digested and absorbed in the stomach and intestines, it only goes in and comes out, how can it become nutrition to the body? The same is true of the spiritual truth. It is not that we have not read enough, but that what we have read has not yet become part of our lives. Really, we must “know God”, not just “know about God”. Papa Gideon always said that when we look at a rainbow we only see half of it. It’s like what we see is obstruction, opposition, but what we don’t see is that when we walk with God, God is with us, so those who oppose us are opposing God, and as a result, vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He steps in! This is the other half of the rainbow that is invisible! I saw it on this Sudan trip! So he who knows God is not looking at the difficulties on the surface, but at the God behind them. I began to understand: Caleb, Joshua, David, Daniel, Esther, Nehemiah… they saw what you and I don’t see! And that kind of faith is not abstract at all, it is real, it is visible, it is solid with substance! “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” This is also the joy of our trip to Sudan, after the thrill and excitement of the roller coaster. So I am sharing this with you, hoping you learn something from it with me. Is it possible? Yes, because, like father like son, what Papa Gideon has will one day become yours and mine! Praise God!

Pray for United States: Emergency Prayer Request: Pray for the David’s Tent D.C.

I want to beckon your prayers for David’s Tent. Last week, I called an emergency prayer meeting at my home to pray for God’s aid. We prayed with urgency and desperation.

Our community has been under duress.

We had two staff quarantined with COVID. A third was ambulanced to the hospital with a racing irregular heart. A fourth is home now due to her father having severe COVID. A fifth was warning of possibly needing to go home for the same reasons.

It felt like our team was being taken away one by one.

On top of all the sickness in our full-time team, we also had 22 last minute cancellations of previously scheduled watches within one week – many of those COVID related.

One of those cancellations was a whole team for their state week. Our scheduler called me in a panic attack. Wisely, we recognized the attack and we prayed through to our Abba’s peace again.

Every time someone cancels, we scramble to fill those gaps.

Somehow, the vigil goes on….
